Dr. Adam Davis attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, graduating in 2001. He spent five years serving as a general dentist in the US Navy. After fulfilling his active duty commitment, Dr. Davis entered the Endodontic Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He received his Endodontic Specialty Certificate in June of 2008. In July 2008, Dr. Davis opened Cumberland Endodontics with the goal of providing residents in the greater Nashville area with the finest endodontic care available.
Having graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Uhles spent a year working before entering dental school at the University Of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After graduating in 2011 with honors and receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he completed a one-year fellowship as an instructor in the Department of Endodontics at UT. Upon completing his endodontic residency, he received his Master of Dental Science degree and his Endodontic Specialty Certificate.
Contributing to the educational experiences of other students is important to Dr. Uhles, and he is a part time instructor in the Department of Endodontics at UTHSC in Memphis. Once a month he teaches in the predoctoral and graduate endodontic clinics to provide that educational experience.
Dr. Eshwar Arasu joined the practice in 2017 after completing his endodontic residency training and receiving a Masters of Science in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. He graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD.
As of 2019, Dr. Arasu successfully completed the written, oral, and case examinations for board certification in endodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the American Association of Endodontists.

One of my teeth was badly infected. Dr. Hules did the root canal. He explained the procedure to me. I'm sure the procedure was not simple for him but he made it easy for me. I would recommend Dr. Hules and Cumberland Endodontics because of his knowledge, experience and kindness.

Dr. Arasu and his assistant, April, are amazing professionals and lovely humans. They work hard to make sure you are comfortable and that the job is done right. The front office staff in Cookeville, Amber and Tisha, are so warm and welcoming. Every detail is explained so that when you leave, you feel knowledgeable and good about what has happened or what will be happening in the future. What an awesome team! I highly recommend.

Great endodontics practice! The staff are caring and helpful. I live more than an hour away from the Cookeville office, but they have done and are doing all they can to limit the trips I'm required to make. Dr. Alena performed a root canal on one of my teeth today. He explained the procedure in detail prior to starting and kept me abreast of steps as he proceeded. He was very concerned about my health and comfort. He and April are true professionals. I can't say I enjoyed the procedure (who enjoys a root canal?!?), but I could feel I was in capable hands. Last but not least, Amber has been very patient in working me into the schedule. I'm thankful to have found this impressive group. Thank you, Cumberland Endodontics!

Dr. Unless and Ciara dental assistant were exceptional in explaining every step of the root canal procedure. It really was painless with the procedure performed. Tooth/jaw is the best it's been in years and now feels normal. Only took 2 Tylenol at bedtime for some discomfort that night and no further pain meds needed.

This was the best experience of getting a root canal that I've ever had. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and explain every step of the procedure in detail. I absolutely detest having any procedures done on my mouth, but I was so relaxed and very satisfied!

I have never been in a dental office that gives such a loving, caring and professional service in my life! From Amber at the front desk to Dr. Jonathan Uhles and Dental Assistant April. They made me feel completely at ease while constantly checking on me during my root canal and tooth rebuild procedure, explaining the Procedure beforehand. It was an unbelievable amazing experience. I just wish they were also general dentists! 10 out of 10.

Was rush due to swelling & pain and sad to say for me I had a lot teeth work done and this office was by far the best experience I have to work with in 60 years thank you so much for your caring & handling from insurance & making it as comfortable as possible & ease of appointment . 100% plus for all the employees

I had to have a root canal and was very anxious about it. Everyone here was wonderful from the ladies at the front to the doctor. If I have to have any other work done, I will definitely come here.

I was referred to Cumberland Endodontics from my dentist in Crossville for a root canal. They were able to get me in quickly and the staff was very friendly. I don't have any anxiety issues with dentistry but they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and calm. I highly recommend the good folks at Cumberland Endodontics
