Dr. Krisena Borenstein is a board-certified orthodontic specialist. She attended dental school at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Then she completed a three-year residency in orthodontics at UCLA, where she earned a masters degree in oral biology, as well as her certificate to practice as an orthodontic specialist for children and adults. She also holds a part-time faculty positionat the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Orthodontic Department. She finds it very rewarding and fun to work directly with the current orthodontic residents in the clinic. Dr. Borenstein also is a member of the St. John's Cleft Lip and Palate Team where she volunteers her time to helpchildren with variouscraniofacial needs.

Since she was a little girl watching her mom, Dr. Fell, work hard tocreatebeautiful smiles, Dr. Borenstein couldn't wait to follow in her mother's footsteps. She spent many hours working in the office alongside her mom in various jobs around the office. She couldn't wait to get her dental and orthodontic degrees so she could work on patients herself to help give kids and adults the smiles they always wanted.

I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world to be in the profession I am in. Family is the most important thing in my life, and I feel so lucky that I get this opportunity to work with both my family and other families every day! Being able to give both kids and adults smiles that they can show off to the world is both fun and rewarding.

Every patient is unique and different. That is what keeps my job exciting! Not only is every patients smile different, but their personalities and stories are different as well. Trying to figure out what treatment is best for each patient is like solving a new puzzle each day. Dr. Borenstein

Both Drs. Fell and Borenstein attend many continuing education meetings and conferences. Their mission is to stay up to date with the latest technology in the field in order to provide the best care for their patients.

Dr. Borenstein is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and the Academy for Orthodontic Excellence, as well as other orthodontic study clubs. The combination of those organizations, as well as her affiliation with the university, gives Dr. Borenstein exposure to all the latest developments in the orthodontic field.

Dr. Borenstein and her husband have two kids, Kate and Ben. As a family, they love spending time at the beach. Dr. Borensteins personal interests include playing classical piano, alpine skiing, and exploring new places.

Dr. Vacharee B. Fellachieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) in 1989 and has practiced in Culver City for more than 30 years. Dr. Fell completed her postdoctoral training in orthodontics at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she received her Master of Science and certification in orthodontics from its School of Dentistry. Her masters thesis research, Enamel Surfaces Characteristics on Removal of Bonded Orthodontic Brackets, was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Fell has enjoyed mentoring her daughter, Dr. Borenstein, since the very beginning. She would encourage her daughter to come into the office and help out with various jobs around the office to show her how much fun she had at work. She showed her daughter her passion of orthodontics and how rewarding it is to help people smile. She loves working alongside her daughter now and is happy to see her grow the family business.

Dr. Fell is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, Western Los Angeles Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists, and the Los Angeles Association of Women Dentists. She is also a member of the advisory board for the Dental Hygiene School at West Los Angeles College.

Dr. Fell is married and lives with her husband in West L.A. She enjoys going to the gym, alpine skiing, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.She often visits her family in Bangkok, Thailand and has lectured to dental students and faculty there.

A bay area native, Dr. Kennie Park graduated from UC San Diego with an Economics major and double minor in International Studies and Japanese studies. From there, Dr. Park went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and finished at the top of his class of 400 students and was inducted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society. Dr. Park then completed his orthodontics residency at UCLA while also obtaining his Masters degree in Oral Biology.

Outside the office Dr. Park likes to wake up every morning at 5am and run along the Santa Monica beach while watching the sun rise. Afterwards, Dr. Park will either complete his morning before heading to work by either going to the gym or yoga studio. Dr. Park is also a passionate reader of non-fiction books and is always curious to know what other people are reading or what their favorite books are. During his down time, Dr. Park likes to spend time with family and friends.

Carol is our awesome rock-star financial coordinator who has been with our team for 25 years! She is responsible for running the front office, managing patient accounts, and handling insurance coordination.

On top of everything, our doctors still make time for family and their continued dedication to keep up to date with the latest technology and improvements in orthodontics.'

Im a single mom of a wonderful 15-year-old son (who had braces for a couple of years and smiles ear-to-ear!). Im very lucky and thankful to have my large family close by, and see them often for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, weddings, and funerals. You name it we are doing it and doing it all together! I enjoy volunteering at my sons school, watching his sports activities, watching movies, going out to dinner, going to the beach, or just staying home with him and cooking together.

Denice joined our team 1 year ago. She is in charge of making sure our clinic is clean and our dental instruments are sterilized properly. She has one of the most important jobs in the office and she is 100% dedicated! We are lucky to have her on our team.

Leydin is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant who has been with our practice for 23 years! She has a ton of experience with many years under her belt with our doctors. She herself has undergone Invisalign treatment, and now is helping her son, Nathanael, with his Invisalign treatment. Leydin specializes in helping patients who are highly anxious feel more comfortable in the office. Her calm demeanor and gentleness are appreciated by all!

Joseph is our treatment coordinator who joined the Culver City Orthodontics team 5 years ago. His main responsibility is to help new patients understand their orthodontic treatment needs and communicate what to expect through their smile journey.

'Although I have many responsibilities at the front desk, I get the most satisfaction interacting with our patients, who vary greatly in ages and backgrounds, as they enter and leave the office. I enjoy meeting and talking to people and try hard to impress on our patients the friendly, professional feeling of our office. I find it very rewarding working in a well-organized, professionally run office that is dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients. Dr. Fell and Dr. Borenstein set the tone in the office with their well-respected abilities in orthodontics, their hard work, and their care for our patients.

Within the past year, I have returned to the South Bay area where I grew up after living in Santa Barbara for four years. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts at UCSB and working there for a year. I love being back among my family and old friends. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, including golf and soccer, and watching my favorite sports teams, the Dodgers and Lakers.'

Lauren joined our team 1 year ago. She is a dentist and orthodontist from Indonesia who moved to the United States when she married her American-Indonesian husband. Lauren received her dental degree in 2009 and orthodontic certificate in 2013. Lauren is expecting her first baby in January 2020!

Oneida has been part of the Culver City Orthodontics Team for 10 years! She is a registered dental assistant who is an expert with brackets and wires as well as Invisalign. She is also in charge of our dental lab work.

'I work hard to make each patients office visit a positive experience. I enjoy working here and being able to interact with so many different people every day. I love the team and doctors with whom I work, as well. We all work very well with each other; everyone is willing to learn new things and teach each other.

Crysta joined our team in 2019 as a registered dental assistant (RDA), but is not new to orthodontics. 'I used to love going to visit my orthodontist and the confidence I got after getting my braces off. That 's what inspired me to get my RDA and it was the most fun I have had in the classroom. I have been an RDA for 5 years and I love giving my patients the same feeling I had and making them smile. When I 'm not at work, I 'm a mother to my almost one year old, Stella, and a wife to my amazing husband, Randy. We love watching sports together, and also love visiting Disneyland!
