Dr. Alikhani is Professor and dean of CTOR Academy, and faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. CTOR, the only center in the world dedicated to Translational Research in Orthodontics, focuses on discovering new approaches and technological advances for treatment of skeletal deformities and different types of malocclusion. Dr Alikhanis research is funded by national and international foundations, and centers on skeletal form, tooth movement, and bone response to mechanical stimulation. His research has produced several patents such as a micro-osteoperforation device (Propel), a high frequency acceleration appliance (Vpro5), External plates, Robotic Orthodontics and many others. Dr. Alikhani specializes in complex orthodontic treatment for teens and adults. His clinical focus is to treat severe jaw and dental deformities in patients seeking non-surgical treatment options using advanced biological and mechanical concepts.
Dr. Jeanner Nervina is the Program Director at the CTOR Academy. She earned her DMD and PhD at the University of Connecticut and her Orthodontic Certificate at UCLA. As a CTOR member, molecular bone and developmental biologist, and orthodontist , Dr. Nervina 's research focuses on developing 'smart' orthodonticappliancesand innovative treatment for children with craniofacial anomalies. Dr. Nervina has published numerous chapters and articles in peer-review journals.
Dr. Sarah Alansari is the Clinical Director of CTOR Academy. She earned her Orthodontic certificated and Masters degree in Oral biologyfrom New York University Department of Orthodontics. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Alansari completed her Post doctoral training at Forsyth institute in Cambridge MA. Her work focuses on the effects of mechanical stimulation on the bones of the craniofacial complex.Dr. Alansari's research and work has been recognized with several awards and presented in national and international conferences. Dr. Alansari has published many articles and co-authored several books in the field of orthodontics.

Though I just had my treatment for less than three months, obvious changes of my teeth can be greatly noticed. Doctors and assistants at CTOR are extremely professional, patient and friendly. Many thanks to Dr. Alansari, Dr. Alikhani, Dr. Sangsuwon and Dr. Lion. (Yes! I have been taken care by so many amazing doctors so far) Will add more comments once my treatment is done :)

I came to this practice originally because they were the only ones in Hoboken who accepted my insurance. Couldn't be happier with the results and the quality of care I received. Dr. Sarah Alansari, Dr. Alikhani and Mya are awesome. They answered all my questions at all times, worked with my insurance and gave me a better smile than I thought was possible. Something that surprised me at first was that I had multiple doctors working on me at different times, but then I realized this was part of their ongoing training program for new residents, which I was completely okay with - I think residents try extra hard. Orthodontic treatment can be more challenging than one would normally expect, so be sure to communicate with your doctors and staff - you will be happy in the end!

I just finished my ortho treatment and I am incredibly happy with the results and new smile! A huge thank you to Dr. Alansari for her amazing work. It's easy to see how much time and commitment she put into working with my more complex case. The entire office had a positive attitude overall. After being told multiple times by other offices that I needed jaw surgery, I'm thankful I found CTOR to work with me on a noninvasive option. I highly recommend putting your trust and time into CTOR ortho!

My son and I had the treatment at CTOR and we are very pleased with the results. Dr. Sarah and Dr. Fai took care of our teeth well and they considered the treatment as a piece of art work with passion and care. They are also very gentle and polite. The facility is very clean, bright and pleasant and the receptionist, Myra, is so sweet. The support team are nice and professional as well. I can't recommend CTOR enough. Dr. Alansari and Dr.Alikhani are the best! They are willing to accommodate to my requests for ideal look and are a strong team on dental academics. My treatment results are great...look is much better in general, after significant teeth retraction and uprighting. The Ctor practice looks better after an expansion.

I highly recommend CTOR. My son just completed his treatment with Dr Alansari, and my wife and I could not be happier with the results and with our entire experience at CTOR. The improvement in my son's teeth is incredible - Dr Alansari's expertise is top-notch. But most importantly, we (especially our son) found our experience at CTOR to be very pleasant - he trusted and appreciated Dr Alansari as she always made sure he was comfortable with the next steps and attentively answered all his questions. Great experience from start to finish. I'm very happy with the results I see on my daughter's teeth and I'm thrilled that I chose CTOR as my child's orthodontist. I came from London, having had my braces on for 3 years already. Drs Alikhani & Alansari explained how their approach and treatment would be different. They explained everything medically and practically and even talked about some of the newer types of treatments in orthodontia since my first go round as a teenager. Also, The cheery demeanor of the office was always appreciated especially over the CoVid days. I strongly recommend these guys and maybe someday will be taking my little toddler there when he's a teenager.

Really challenging experiences in getting an appointments and therefore I think my son has had braces on for an extra 6 months or longer. Even now he doesn't come home from school until December 22rd and they are closed last two weeks of the year. Must be great to work there but not easy to teeth straightened in a timely manner. I haven't seen the completed work to provide feedback.
