CT Pediatric Dentistry has been located in West Hartford, Connecticut for more than 42 years. As our practice continued to grow we expanded and now have three Connecticut based pediatric dental offices. Each office has its own unique environment, developed to give our young clients a comfortable, safe space that will enable them to develop a healthy relationship with their dentist.
With a focus on prevention and education, we work with our local communities to teach children of all ages the importance of oral health. We are active in local school systems, giving presentations on how to
CT Pediatric Dentistry is dedicated to educating CT's youth in proper dental care. Our nursery school coordinator visits local schools and teaches children about the importance of maintaining their teeth.

Dr. Maltz is the absolute best! I went to him as a child and I am so grateful that my children now to get to have him. He has the best sense of humor and my children actually get excited to go to the dentist! Anyone looking for a pediatric dentist; he's your guy!

We had an emergency situation with our 8 year old. Turned out his filling "failed" and caused a bad infection resulting in the tooth having to be extracted. This office wouldn't see us due to an outstanding balance. I never received any correspondence stating we were not longer in their practice. I offered to pay it but their billing woman was not in and it ended up being sent to collections. My child was literally crying in the background when they turned us away due to a balance. Not to mention they were billing an old insurance. Luckily, we found Canton Valley Dental. Who took us immediately and got his infection under control.

I absolutely love CT Pediatric dentistry. As a mother of two autistic sons I am impressed by the care and consideration given to my children. They always go above and beyond to accommodate my boys needs. They always block off large amounts of time to make sure my sons are comfortable and so that they can take their time to assure a positive experience at the dentist. A+

This place is great if your child is neurotypical. My child is autistic with ADHD. We came to this place because it was recommended but it is not good if you have a child with behavioral challenges. One off day and they refuse to see him during the only times I can bring him as a single parent.

My 3 kids see Dr. Maltz and he is awesome! Great sense of humor and wonderful with children. The staff is incredibly helpful, I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here + my kids dental needs are well taken care of.

I disagree with the other rater. My experience has been very positive Great care and very accommodating hours. Central location. Never had to pay up front for care. Maybe if someone has credit problems but not from my experience. Highly recommended!

This office requires that you pay for your appointment upfront. When asked if they will accept your insurance provider they say yes without knowing for sure if they do or not. Our insurance was out-of-network and now we will not be reimbursed for the $76 tooth brush that they gave my three year old son. Be sure that your insurance is in-network before booking an appointment at this office.
