We love spending time with each patient, something that isnt possible with corporate dental offices that turn patients out quickly. Dr. Smith is an experienced dentist with a passion for doing beautiful, high-quality dentistry and taking excellent care of his patients in a personable and conservative manner. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. Then, after a year of private practice, he came to Texas for a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program and has been in private practice for the last three years.
Dr. Smith is a strong believer in expanding his clinical knowledge by learning the latest dental techniques to better serve his patients with the most advanced in dental care. His latest step toward this goal is by pursuing his Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry that shows over 500 hours of continuing education.

First time being here. Great location. Very clean inside. Staff is amazingly friendly. Dr. Smith consulted me on some issues I've been having, was very thorough and informative. Helped me understand what I'm going through. I'm now a new patient!

Best dental experience I've ever had. I have major anxiety when it comes to dental work, and from the first moment I talked to Darla to schedule an appointment I was immediately put at ease. The hygienist, April, is so friendly and caring and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and talked me through everything she was doing. Dr. Smith is great - super nice and knowledgeable. He took his time with my exam and thoroughly explained what I needed and presented a plan of action for my dental health. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. For the first time ever, I can say I won't mind going to the dentist!

I have been going to CS Dentistry since Dr. Smith started his practice. I have always had a wonderful experience with the care I have received from Dr. Smith, his hygienist and staff. I was out of town when I had a problem occur and I immediately called their office for help! They were able to call in a prescription for me and set up an appointment when I arrived home to have my issue taken care of. They are wonderful and really care about their patience!! Thank you!!! I really appreciate all that you have done for me!!

Received X-RAY & cleaning today. Between the receptionist, hygienist, & Dr. Smith I had a great experience. They all seemed to care and ensured that I was well informed of my current dental health and what my options are for future work that is needed.

I could not love CS Family Dentistry any more or recommend it more highly. The staff is amazing, understanding, and there to help. General appointments have all been great but when it came to an emergency the entire office went into reuse mode and saved the day! Dr. Smith is fantastic and I will never go to another Dentist in Central Texas.

My husband and I love this place! We really got lucky when we found Dr. Smith. They are by far the most knowledge and caring dentists I've ever met. The front desk ladies make you feel so welcomed and you can ask them a million questions, and I never once felt like I was bothering them. They are so smart about insurance that they even helped save us money. Dr. Smith is super helpful, professional, and his work is great. He obviously keeps up with the newest trends, knows all the basics , and you can tell he definitely studies a lot. You could talk to him about all your problems, and he listens well and is very open and honest about your options. My husband and I go in together at once, and we can't explain how much we love this place. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Smith and his staff are an amazing Team. My son had been hesitant about going to the dentist due to bad experiences at our previous . So he decided to give Dr. Smith's office a chance and they were so understanding ,gentle, from the moment we walked in the door we knew we had found our new Dental Home . The hygienist spoke to my son very nice and we returned this past week for Dr. Smith to work on my sons front teeth that my son hadn't been able to smile in years because of the way they looked and Dr. Smith worked for 3 hours and made my son smile again. I would definitely recommend this Dental office to anyone looking for a change or just looking for a new dental office in Bastrop Texas.

8-24-18 --Hygienist April gave my wife and I excellent cleanings yesterday. --Dr. Smith consulted with us on our future dental work needs. --Vicki pulled up our dental plan for insurance quotes and our co-pays. It turns out that Dr. Smith charges much less than dental practices in Austin area. --Thanks to Helen, who has often called us as a cancellation occurs.
