Dr. Zhou has received extensive training in general dentistry and orthodontics both in the United States and China. Dr. Zhou completed her orthodontic residency training with a PhD degree from Beijing in 2003. Dr. Zhou also holds a DDS degree from UNC Dental School at Chapel Hill. She is member of the American Orthodontic Society and American Dental Association. She has devoted herself to clinical research of orthodontics in the Department of Orthodontics at UNC Chapel Hill. She is the first author of several articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
