Brandi Dental Hygienist Brandi was born and raised in Waupaca. After graduating high school, she earned her Dental Assisting degree from Fox Valley Technical College and later graduated with honors in Dental Hygiene from Northwest Technical College. What made her want to enter the dental field is the fact that she loves to see and help bring about beautiful smiles. Brandi understands the importance of six-month preventative care: she likes to catch things when theyre small so they dont turn into a bigger problem. She always works to make patients feel comfortable and well-informed when in theyre in her chair.

When shes not helping patients in our office, Brandi loves to spend time with friends and family, especially her four stepchildren two boys and two girls and her dog, Dolly. One of her favorite activities is enjoying the outdoors. She is a veteran who proudly served in the National Guard for three years.

Brianna Dental Assistant Brianna joined our team shortly after she earned her dental assisting degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Originally from Wautoma, Wisconsin, Brianna entered into the dental field because she wanted to help people get their confidence back through improving their smiles. She certainly has helped our patients to achieve both of those things through making each of them feel welcomed, informed, and completely at ease the whole time they are in our office. She finds the environment at Crystal River Dental to be very welcoming, supportive, and friendly, like one big family.

Outside of the office, Brianna enjoys taking part in outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and kayaking. She also loves playing in summer softball and volleyball leagues. More than anything, Brianna loves spending time with her family and her two dogs.

Lisa Dental Assistant Lisa is originally from Brookfield, Wisconsin. After graduating from Waukesha South High School, she went on to study at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She wanted to enter the dental field because she always had great experiences at the dental office when she was a child. She joined our Crystal River Dental team in the summer of 2021 and had an immediate positive impact. Lisa is always focused on making all patients as comfortable as possible in her care, and shes always ready to lend a helping hand to her teammates throughout the office. Her favorite thing about being part of our staff is that we have an outstanding team with members who are always willing to support each other in the best interest of our patients.

When shes not at work, Lisa loves to spend time with her family, including her husband of almost 30 years, their twin adult sons, and their two dogs, Reggie and Kodi. Some of her favorite pastimes are cooking, gardening, and taking care of all the dogs she can.

Tammy Administrative Assistant Tammy was born and raised in Green Bay. After graduating from high school there, she went on to study Real Estate and Accounting at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Despite her early career path, she was always infatuated with teeth. She started out as an assistant in pediatric dentistry in 1997 and then went on to work in general dentistry and oral surgery. She began working on the administrative side of things in 2012. Tammy enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including lab work. In 2016, she moved to the Fremont area, and she joined our Crystal River Dental team in late 2021. Her main focus when it comes to dental care is patient education and understanding, which helps our patients to be more comfortable, less nervous, and more apt to do treatment thats needed for maintaining oral health. Tammy brings to our team over 20 years of dental experience, both assisting and at the front desk. Her experience and knowledge base, along with her approachable disposition, allows her to effectively discuss treatment and payment plans with patients and answer any questions they might have. She loves the small-town feel of her new work environment. She enjoys talking with patients and hearing stories about them growing up here, and she loves working with our great group of ladies who all get along, work hard, and have fun doing it!

Outside of the office, Tammy loves spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their fur baby, Lacy a bulldog/boxer/greyhound mix. When shes not busy with her childrens school activities, some of her favorite activities include camping in the Northwoods, hunting, fishing, and reading.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to dentists. When my work took me from the Wausau area to Waupaca, my previous dentist recommended Crystal River. I couldn't be happier with the care I receive there. Staff are always smiling, helpful, and up front when it comes to plans and cost. I feel like I'm in good hands there.

Office staff was amazing informative and wanting to help. New patient with an infected tooth needing an extraction, the dentist( not in long enough to catch his name) spent no to me in my swollen mouth to determine what tooth was infected but only wanted to talk about dentures( he let me know they do that there) i left with no antibiotics for my infected swollen tooth but did get a referral to a oral surgeon from the office lady's thank you. Wisconsin seems to have the laziest dentists that I am not sure what they actually do. Horrible just horrible

My adult son was a new patient to Dr Lisa and her very welcoming and friendly staff. I could not believe a 23 year old young man was so impressed to mention how much time the Dr spent with him, getting to know him and his dental concerns. His hygienist was friendly, gentle and very informative!! What a great addition to the Waupaca community!!!

I have been going here for quite awhile and today will be my last day. I had an appointment at 4:00pm and didn't get seen until 4:25pm and was there until 5:25pm. Almost an hour and a half for just a cleaning. When I was done I was asked to set up a 6 month appointment but mentioned I get done at 4 and would get there by 4:05pm where they then told me that no our last appointment is at 4 even though that was my appointment time today and they were 25 minutes late. Every time I go in there staff is always different. Very informative during cleaning but felt very discouraged after leaving that appointment so much I was in tears.

The dental assistant was the only positive thing about going there. If it wasn't for her I would have walked out at my last visit. Everyone else, especially dentist were unfriendly and downright rude. And my issues were not even taken care of. I'll be going to someone else to finish my dental work. Big thumbs down

7 months ago my children were only seen by a hygienist and not the dentist. I thought maybe it was because of COVID and didn't say anything. Come our appointment in May they called the day of the appointment and cancelled because they realized once again they did not have a dentist to see the children. I expressed concern that my son had a visible cavity and the fact that it has now been a year since they have seen a dentist and they said they can put us on a cancelation list and see when they can get us in. We had an appointment scheduled a month later. Today I get a voicemail with the office stating now the hygienist is out therefore they will be cancelling the appointment (for tomorrow) AGAIN. Of course in the voicemail they said we can go on a cancellation list and they will let us know when an appointment becomes available. My son still has the same cavity (and I think it is affecting his other tooth as well), but no one is concerned about that and clearly it is of no concern to them as they did not even attempt to correct anything. I never had this problem when it was RLJ dental so I'm highly disappointed. Not to mention that they have now completely blocked our chances of getting an appointment anywhere else because I'm sure, like usual, dentists are booked for months out and trying to get in anywhere else will be incredibly difficult. Hoping that this cavity does not affect his adult teeth.

They have changed their name from RLJ Dental to Crystal River Dental, and maybe ownership, because they were so terrible under the old name. Still have the same bad/poor staff and service. I do not advise or recommend you going here. Stay away.

Having a tooth pulled isn't exactly the highlight of anyone's day but the team at RLJ were kind professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I'm pleased I chose them for my dental services!

They all are so nice at this clinic. I found out when I got there that nitrous could not be used because of Covid which made me anxious but they all put me at ease and so did the dentist that it made my extraction a piece of cake. They are the best!!

I had an abscess in a tooth that came about very fast. They got me in quickly addressed the issue (extraction). When I went back for a follow-up a week later it was discovered I was due for cleaning and check-up that they did that day. We discussed some other needed work that was scheduled for later that same week. For each visit they proactively looked at costs and worked with my insurance company to create the best plan for the least out of (my) pocket costs. All involved were friendly and informative.
