Being a pediatric dentist means working in the best profession in the world. My days are spent with children, each of whom brings his or herown energy, growing personality, and interpretations of the world into my office and my life. Children are fun to be around, always keeping me and my team on our toes!

I enjoy connecting with children on their level and learning who they are. It brings me a lot of fulfillment when I am able to help anxious children through a procedure and they finish with a big smile, feeling proud of what they have accomplished. Likewise, when a child has a no-cavity checkup and is filled with grins because of what they have done, I celebrate with them.

Every child, and each interaction, is an opportunity to be positive and leave a lasting impression. I want my patients to graduate to a general dentist with bright, healthy smiles, and feel comfortable in the dental environment.

Each of my patients, in the more than 25 years I have been in practice, has enriched and bettered my life. I am honored to have experienced their formative years with them, and treasure our time together.

I grew up knowing I wanted to help others and drawn to working with children. Knowing that oral health is a core part of overall physical health, and impacting self-esteem, I chose to become a pediatric dentist.

Dental school and the postdoctorate pediatric dentistry training gave me a solid foundational understanding of the specialized oral health concerns of children. It encompassed everything from clinical techniques to behavioral management and caring for children with complex physical, developmental, and emotional needs.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, I continue to educate myself, staying current on the newest methodologies, materials, and technologies, as well as trends and research. I bring that knowledge to the practiceto ensureeach patientreceivesinnovative, proven teatment.

I grew up in Park Ridgeand have lived in Crystal Lake for more than20 years. My wife Beth and I have loved raising our family in this wonderful community; we have four grown children:our son Lucas and our triplets:Jillian, Brandon, and Delaney.

Being with family and loved ones is a priority when Im not caring for growing smiles. We enjoy hiking and biking together, and love trying new adventures. I also play on baseball and hockey teams, and like playing pickleball, too, to stay in shape.

Giving back to this community and helping others is core to who I am, both professionally and personally. In addition to dental health outreach and education in our schools and to the general public, I volunteer to coordinate food drives for our local food pantry.

Our clinical team is comprised of well-trained assistants who have had a number of years experience treating children. We also participate in practice management courses and are all CPR certified. Our hope is to build trust and confidence that will last a lifetime.

Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental, Ltd. - Pediatric dentist in Crystal Lake, IL

I have more than 30years of experience in general dentistry and pediatrics, and have been a part of this practice for about half of that time. Im all about the kids! Working with them, forming a trust with them, and eventually they know its not scary coming to the dentist. I even get hugs from the kids, and they look forward to coming back and seeing me! Many patients know that Jewel the Tooth Fairy works here and helps Dr. Tony out. Im a bit of a celebrity throughout the preschools in the local surroundings of Crystal Lake!

I have three adult daughters and an adorable little grandson. Being a grandma is the best! I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and recently took up biking. On the side, I enjoy officiating weddings. When I see someone smile at the end of the day, I know I did my part.

I went to First Institute in Crystal Lake for dental assisting in 2012 and became a part of the Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental team in 2016. I assist Dr. Minutillo in the clinical area, as well as attend to front desk duties such as insurance, phone calls, and scheduling. I love working with kids and helping them have a fun dental experience. Creating bonds and watching the kids leave happy is the most rewarding part of my job.

I live in Crystal Lake with my husband Erick, my son Andrew, and stepdaughters Alisabeth and Briana. We have two dogs and two bunnies as well. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends and family at our friends lake house where we go boating and jet skiing in the summer and snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. We also go camping every September.

I have worked in dentistry since 2001, gaining experience as a chairside assistant, and in full-mouth reconstructive surgery, office management, and patient coordinating. At Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental, I greet and interact with our patients and their families while coordinating accounts and insurance submissions, and treatment plan consulting. I love working with our team, as we all have a great passion for the field of pediatric dentistry.

I am a mother of three adult children and grandma to two grandsons. I also have adog, Daryl. I enjoy the outdoors, hooking up the camper and camping with family and friends, and spending a day on the motorcycle and exploring new places. My yearly trip to Florida with my three sisters is always afun time.

I started my career as a certified dental assistant and worked in private practice for 20 years. Then I accepted a position at the University of Iowa as DAU instructor. Our role was to work with senior dental students and teach them about four-handed dentistry. After leaving Iowa City, I moved to the Chicago area, where I worked again in private practice in Winnetka. I decided to go back to college and graduated from Harper College with my dental hygiene degree in 2006. I enjoy the variety of my work:providing educational, clinical, and therapeutic services to support my patients overall health.

I attended Guilford Technical Community College in North Carolina, where I completed the dental assisting program in 2003. Upon moving to the Crystal Lake area, I found my second home with Dr. Minutillo and our team. Ive been here almost a decadeand cant imagine working anywhere else! My favorite part of my job is helping our patients have a positive dental experience, teaching them to overcome any dental related fear they may have, and helping them learn good hygiene from a young age.

A childs early experiences can make a strong impression, and those lingering feelings can last far into adulthood. When a little one experiences only kindness and positive things, he or shefeels safe and that translates to comfort and trust.

At Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental, we understand how important those early dental visits are for the long-term health and happiness of our young patients. That is why Dr. Anthony Minutillo and our team take all the time needed to ensure children are at ease in our hands:treating each with patience, warmth and compassion just as we would our own little ones.

We have served growing families from Crystal Lake and surrounding communities since 1995, and builta reputation for offering high-quality, comfortable care in a child-friendly atmosphere. Now we are honored tobe caring for the growing smiles of a second generation of local families!

Our Doctor: Dr. Minutillo is a board-certified pediatric dentist whoholdsa certificate and Master of Science in dentistry in pediatric dentistry. His post-dental school trainingand ongoing continuing educationensurehe provides every patient with proven, leading-edge dental care.

Nurses were very nice. Dr was very rude. They do not let you go back with your child for an exam which is very sketchy. My child left there absolutely traumatized

We had our first dental visit for my 3.5 year old autistic son and this office was very patient and kind. I like that they have a method of performing exams on children that may not feel comfortable with the usual way. I have not always had great experiences (even with "pediatric" medical professionals) and had been feeling a little defeated with finding the right care providers. This office could teach some other places how to do it right!

I had been taking my daughter to a different pediatric dentist and and every visit was a fight, Screaming, And to say the least, a struggle. Our 1st visit at this pediatric dentist was a was a whole different experience. My daughter was Immediately comfortable And loved the staff. She has quite a bit of work that needs to be done and I am thrilled I found the right dentist to do it. She needed to be sedated at the other dentist to get work done and she had a tooth pulled with just gas with Dr. Minutillo. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room and hear her scream, it was amazing. She didn't even have tears when she was done! It was like walking into an alternate universe when we walked into this dentist office! I cannot say enough great things!!

Absolutely love them!! My son is on the spectrum and they are wonderful with him, we've struggled with dentists in the past pushing his boundaries making him very uncomfortable with the whole setting but they've handled it spectacularly. Even when he tried to negotiate his extraction from two teeth down to one, he was not thrilled when he realized it wouldn't work

Very horrible. My kiddo was upset and crying and they would not let me go check on her. Also they said she's fine when I asked them to bring her back to me ASAP. I feel very upset. If a parent says to stop and bring the child back or let me back there that should be done immediately. Not respectful to kids and parents. It's fine if your kiddo is not shy and able to go back alone like my older one.

My personal dentist referred my 4yr old son to a pediatric dentist. I did some research and chose this dentist because their facility seemed to be proficient in treating children. My son had 3 visits total. He gets anxious easily, so I was very concerned about him getting dental work done. I have to say, I couldn't have been more impressed with the facility in general, the dr and the other staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my son felt as comfortable as possible. They advised upfront that I wouldn't be able to go back with my son. I had zero issues with that because I know that if I was back there, my son would have resisted the treatment. He came out smiling and that made me happy:)
