Dr. Russomanno has lived in Minnesota for the majority of his life. He grew up in Bloomington and Eagan and now lives in Rosemount with his two children, Michael and Amanda. In 1993, Dr. Russomanno graduated cum laude from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, earning his bachelors degree in natural sciences. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated with honors, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. He has been practicing dentistry in the Oakdale, Minnesota, area for over a decade.
Since graduating school, Dr. Russomanno has dedicated himself to his continuing education. He takes continuing education courses two times a month. He is a lifelong student of dentistry and believes that we never stop improving our skills or expanding our knowledge. Currently, Dr. Russomanno is a member of the following professional organizations:
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Russomanno finds his greatest enjoyment in being a father and spending time with his children. Michael and Amanda are undoubtedly his highest priority in life. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Russomanno playing basketball, collecting baseball and football cards, golfing, or taking care of his aquarium and fishpond. He also has special interests in archeology, great white sharks, history and politics.
Dr. Yazan Alkhatib has lived his entire life in Minnesota and was raised in Sartell, Minnesota. Dr. Alkhatib graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and he loved it so much that he stuck around and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota as well. Go Gophers! While in dental school, Dr. Alkhatib was incredibly active in leadership. He was elected as the class president for all four years and served on the executive board of the American Student Dental Association. He loves building smiles in and out of the dental chair. Above all, he ensures positive patient experiences as he provides excellent care to all of his patients at Crystal Lake Dental Care.
In his free time, he enjoys being with loved ones, international traveling (he has been to 18 countries and counting), spending time outside and indulging in ice cream (with toothbrush nearby, of course).
Kay has been a licensed and registered dental hygienist in the Twin Cities Metro area for over 25 years. What Kay enjoys most about her profession is getting to know her patients and helping them choose the dental services that will give them optimal oral health and help them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening in the summer, sculpting, reading, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and very spoiled Pomeranian.

The new crown fits excellently! Fast work- in and out with very little pain and Dr. Alkhatib is always very aware of giving me options for pain relief even before I have to say anything. Sensitive to patient needs! I appreciate that!

I have been doing all my dental treatments with Cristal Lake and I always have great experiences with them. The staff is very friendly, helpful and the service is always high quality. Totally recommend this place!

An amazing dentist. They are always helpful and nice. How they explain the care you will need and cost that it will be prior to care is so helpful and they are understanding that the cost of dentistry can be high and are willing to work within your budget and timeline.

I have had an overall excellent experience. And would highly recommend this dental office. The front desk is very easy to communicate with, follow up texts and phone calls. The billing process is up front and honest no hidden fee's. The teeth cleaning is personable and gentle. The doctor knows his stuff, he is a great listener and very good at explaining what is going on with your teeth. In fact there have even been a few times where I have fallen asleep in the chair, that's how comfortable I am there. The staff is a fun group to be around!

I was very hesitant about going to a new dental place, but my previous one is way too far so I had to drag myself here. Thankfully I did because it was the best choice ever! I was well taken care of by Dr. Alkhatib. Will be a regular here now!!

My parents recently went here for their teeth cleaning and had a really lovely experience! Dr Alkhatib was really kind and explained things to them in a way that was easy to understand. One of the hygienists, Youa was so professional and sweet too. The staff here were all friendly and helpful. I'm glad they were able to find such a great dentist in the area.

The practice was sold in October of 2020 any reviews after that time are on the new people that bought it.. Before that this clinic was a very good hometown dental practice with top notch clinicians.

I was in sick from chemotherapy treatment and the dentist was insisting I needed to replace old fillings, and take care of a small cavity. I was at the limit of what my body could handle, and he was insistent that it was necessary "to get a baseline" before beginning radiation therapy. I decided to wait. I went to another dentist who asked why the previous dentist wanted to replace the old fillings. He didn't think it was necessary. Maybe greed or inexperience, I don't know. I've decided to switch dentist offices permanently.

I have never been here!!! I accidentally hit the one star. I didn't know how to remove it. It seemed really unfair to post a poor review of something when I had never been there. So I gave them five. Please don't pay attention to THIS review of my mine. Look at the people who have been there and have left a review. That seems to be a fair way for you to choose a dentist. Again, I have to apologize for having shakey fingers. Dentists are great people because they don't have shakey fingers. Note to Anne"Do not go to Dental school!"

Will not return my phone calls under any circumstances. I waited for days, then weeks. Left another message, which was also not returned. I waived my HIPAA protections to write this review: Just don't waste your time or your dental health with Crystal Lake Dental Care of Robbinsdale. What neglect!

I just went in for a cleaning. The girl who cleaned my teeth did the worst/most painful job I have EVER experienced. I get my teeth cleaned often and take good care of my teeth. She dug so hard in my gums that they bleed and I was in so much pain. My gums have literal healing wounds on my front teeth because of how awful she did. I woke up this morning and my gums are in pain. It feels like I just got my braces tightened. I hope it was just that one employee who is so awkful, It seemed as if she has no past experience or credentials. I never usually leave reviews but I had to because how bad my gums look and feel. Barely polished them as well.
