Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In order to provide the best possible care to his patients, Dr. Smith seeks out advanced training through a variety of continuing education opportunities. Dr. Smith is committed to providing his patients with individualized, personal treatment that meets each patient's unique needs. Working collaboratively, Dr. Smith, the dental team, and their patient are able to most effectively consider all available options and then determine the course of treatment that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Dr. Smith is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Iowa to attend the excellent University of Iowa College of Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys cheering for the Twins, walking his dogs, and fishing. He and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
Studies have shown that smiling makes you, the person smiling, happier regardless of any situation. When I'm asked what I love most about the work I do, I love being able to help patients receive the smile they want and deserve!

The hygienist I had Quinn was very good. Great personality. I enjoyed having her. And meeting with Dr. Malloy the dentist. The front desk staff were very courteous. I definitely will be going back.

Been going to Crow Vally for about 16 years. Will never change dentist's office. Doctor is friendly skilled and knowledgeable, the hygienist are amazing as well Annette is super friendly and I always look forward to seeing her. Wanted to note no cavities in 16 years!!

I haven't been to a dentist in YEARS because of life and just finding a trustworthy place. I went this morning and everyone was WONDERFUL. Emily was my hygienist and she was sweet as could be and constantly asked if I had any questions or if I was ok. Dr. Malloy was great as well when he came in. They both explained everything to me and what my x-rays showed and what I need or can do for some concerns I had. Top notch place.

First visit today so only one impression but... They are first rate! Reception was fast, efficient and nice to talk to. Wait for the dental tech was super short, X-rays easy and fast. Emily was excellent and explained EVERYTHING she was doing. No surprises. Gentle cleaning. She even engaged in a little technology discussion around the tooth camera system they were using! Dr was efficient (how they are so fast??!) and made a quick recommendation of treatment with solid reasoning and his own experience added. Easy to understand their thoughts. Before I even got out of the chair I had a cost for treatment (crown and guard) presented with insurance coverage noted and my portion circled. This is the way this is supposed to work. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. As a side note - the Halloween decorations were excellent! Seriously. It makes me think the place has a happy workforce as well. That counts for a LOT imho. Smiles everywhere! Highly recommend

Crow Valley has been the office our family has used for probably 20 years. I recently went through a period of time when I neglected to go to the dentist. Everyone was great, easy to talk to and professional! Thank goodness my checkup went well! They got me back on track.

Everyone did a great job and were seemingly happy to help me as a new patient. Ok, was left waiting for a cleaning, I was early they said she is a little long with a patient, 10 to 15 minutes, so I go out side wait 15 minutes, they close the shop and go home . The last girl come out and says we looked for you, but now everyone has gone home. Not good that cost me , ... Then the work on my tooth was very well done,too much novacan was num for 4 hours after the work. They did not look out for me with my insurance money,..cost me 1400 out of my pocket. Paid cash to get 10% off the girl couldn't do the math , but with help got it done. I'd say great Dentist with too many other people running the place. Barry E. Sprott

Dr. Malloy is amazing! Highly, highly recommend. I am insecure and nervous about my teeth but he is the first dentist I've been to in the area that puts me at ease. He immediately identified issues missed by a previous dentist and I regret not finding him sooner. I am a lifer. Thank you Crow Valley!

Very pleased with how smooth everything went on my first visit. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and Dr. Smith gave me several options on how to treat a problem tooth; I appreciated having a choice. I'm very confident with continuing my treatment there.

My first visit was for a broken front tooth. They were able to get me in the next day! Wonderful staff, friendly and welcoming. Doctor and assistant gave me a thorough explanation of my options and fitted me for a temporary tooth for the meantime. Thankful I found them!

Such a great staff and Dr. Malloy is fantastic. His staff seems to be EXCELLENT working with children while I was there. I do not have any however thought they were very good! Highly recommend this dentist and staff!
