Dr. Earl Santos was born in Tacloban City, Philippines, and grew up in northeast Pennsylvania. His career in Florida began when he graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, with a doctorate in dental medicine. He then completed a highly competitive residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he received advanced training in general family dentistry.
Dr. Santoss professional affiliations include the American Dental Association and the Florida Academy of General Dentistry Association. He also has a background in chemistry, having worked for Exxon Mobil and completed a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Villanova University, respectively.
Vanessa has worked in the dental field since 2015 when she completed her training as a hygienist at Mount Wachusett Community College in Massachusetts. She has been with our dental practice since 2020.
As a hygienist, Vanessas job is to make patients feel comfortable in a dental setting while providing outstanding oral care and education. She enjoys building rapport and connecting with her patients to create a fun and welcoming environment where they can have a pleasant experience.
Vanessa completes a thorough dental assessment of each patient and provides preventive cleanings, non-surgical gum therapy, and the application of fluoride and sealants. She also educates patients on proper home care and appropriate products to help with their specific needs.
Eisen joined our team as a Dental hygienist 2022. He graduated from Iloilo Doctors College in the Philippines. He's been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 23 years. He likes being part of a team that provides a high level of care and is on the cutting edge of technology. Eisen is a dedicated clinician and always gives 100% to our patients. Quality patient care is very important to him and being sure that patients receive the absolute care, which is one of his top priorities. He enjoys working in Periodontics because it is fulfilling for him to be able to help our patients achieve a healthier smile. In his free time, he likes going to the gym, biking on a nice day, fishing, and going to the beach. He also likes dining with his wife, karaoke with friends and playing with their two cats, Twister and Lucky.
Ana attended Ultimate Medical Academy and started working in the dental field in 2019. She joined our practice in 2021 as a dental assistant, where she helps patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
Denae' assists the doctor with various procedures, takes and develops x-rays, performs infection control, prepares and sterilizes instruments, and provides patients with oral care instructions after procedures. She appreciates being part of a team that works together to ensure that our patients have a pleasant experience.
Gina is the first person patients see when they come into our dental office, and she always welcomes them with a warm smile. She loves meeting new people, getting to know them, and establishing long-term relationships with them.
Gina has been a dental assistant since 2003 and recently started working for Dr. Santos in 2021. She has gained experience with on-the-job training and has completed certification in many areas of dental assisting.
Christina attended Everest University and started working in dentistry in 2013 as an EFDA (expanded functions dental assistant.) She subsequently moved to the front desk and has been Dr. Santos's office manager since he took over the practice in 2020.
As our office manager, Christina's main job is to oversee office operations, but sometimes she uses her assistant training to help out in the back office. Most often, you'll find Christina at the front desk joking and teasing the patients.
The best part of being an assistant for Christina has been the many wonderful patients she's met over the years, sharing countless stories and laughs. She has been with them as they have gone through various life challenges, and the ability to be there and show compassion and empathy fills her heart.

This was a good visit. The cleaning and X-rays went very well; she did a great job and provided so excellent instructions for future care. The Tech and Dentist both recommended some necessary future work to be done. I am pleased with what they did and will be back soon to work on the other things.

I was in today for new patient exam and a cleaning. Dr. Santos and the whole staff was very nice and professional. The male Hygienist Eisen who cleaned my teeth was awesome, the best cleaning I ever have. Thank you Causeway Dentistry for the very pleasant and comfortable experience! I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Santos and his staff are Awesome, after calling 6 other dentist Dr. Santos receptionist was the ONLY ONE who knew what EMERGENCY meant and they brought me in right away, I had a SEVERE toothache and Dr. Santos took care of me immediately. I am so grateful that a friend Kathy recommended Dr. Santos to call. He told me everything he was doing and that made me at ease. I'm 68 years old and nervous about dental visits so if you are the same nervous or scared you can definitely count on Dr. Santos to treat you with respect and dignity. I help out at the( WWAR) Wounded warriors abilities ranch here in Pinellas park and if it's ok with Dr. Santos I would like to highly recommend him for the Wounded warriors abilities ranch and friends located at Lurie park for his services anytime you need dental care. Had an appointment for a cleaning and check up. My hygienist, Elise was extremely nice and did an excellent job on my cleaning and did it in a very timely manner. Doctor Santos gave me an exam and found two fillings that could cause problems in the future and showed me exactly what my problems were with video, which made it much easier to understand. I was also given an analysis of the costs for the procedures that I will need so there will be no surprises. I look forward having Elise as my hygienist in future visits and look forward to working with Doctor Santos to resolve my issues. Excellent visit.

This was an outstanding dental appointment. From the moment I walked in with the front desk assistant and the exray tech. My cleaning was amazing he was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Earl was also amazing he took time out of his busy day to give me a filling when I only had an appointment for a cleaning. He was very informative and friendly and gentle. Everyone here is amazing!
