Colorado Springs Colorado Springs Dentist, Dr. Ryan Tyng, was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Dr. Tyng attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. While attending ISU he met and married his wife, Aubrei, a native to Burley, Idaho. After graduating, Dr. Tyng attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and received his D.M.D. in 2007 graduating near the top of his class. Dr. Tyng decided to further advance his training and was selected as one of seven doctors to attend a General Practice Residency at The University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO. As a resident in this program Dr. Tyng received advanced training in Dental Implants, Anesthesiology, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, General and Pediatric dentistry, as well as in the Management of Medically compromised patients.. By participating in several continuing education courses annually, Dr. Tyng implements the latest techniques and dental philosophies into his practice.
Dr. Tyng strives to practice dentistry that offers comprehensive care in a learning environment that is designed to be highly compassionate towards patient needs, while efficiently and effectively providing quality dental care.
Dr. Alejandro Arango moved to Colorado Springs when he was 10 years old. He graduated with a double major from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing and a degree in art history. Part of what drove Dr. Arangos interest in dentistry is the professions use of both art and science. After college, he attended Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in Salt Lake City. He graduated with honors and is a member of the national honors dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After dental school, Dr. Arango furthered his clinical skills as a resident at the University of Colorado General Practice Residency. There, he received advanced training in treatment planning, implantology, cosmetics, Endodontics (root canal therapy), clear aligners, and prosthodontics. Dr. Arango has a patient-first philosophy and is looking forward to working with patients at Crossroads Family Dental to develop treatment plans that best suit his patients needs. In his free time, Dr. Arango enjoys the outdoors (skiing, mountain biking, and hiking) and spending time with his wife, Theresa, and family.

The thing I think I like the most about this place is that the office is so nice and clean and new! All the receptionists were also extremely nice and they got me in the very next day. Finally, they allowed me to pay out of pocket when they didn't accept my insurance instead of just turning me away like some of the other jerky places in town . They are great all around! I couldn't recommend them enough.

I came to crossroads because they were one of the few in the area that offered ICON treatment. I ended up doing the full whitening treatment with them as well, and I am so happy with my experience and results! They worked with my schedule to get me the new bright smile I wanted for my wedding. I am actually going to switch them to my main dentist after my experience! I saw Dr. DeLeon my first couple of visits, then Dr. Tyng for ICON. Both are great! Highly recommend for Kor Whitening & ICON treatments!

This was my initial visit to this practice. The initial patient exam was in depth. The explanation of the found conditions of my teeth were explained in detail by the dentist and he gave recommendations on potential actions. There was no hard sell on follow up treatment. The recommendations were given in writing as I left.

Dr Tyng was very professional. We had a great visit. The problem I had was my appt o had was cancelled with no notice, I came to the appt and they did not know why it was cancelled. Second appt the provider was very rude no bed side manner at all. She did not want to listen to anything that was said.

I moved to Crossroads last year after going to a much smaller local practice for decades. The place is huge, able to accommodate many patients at once, and the equipment is the new and up to date. Each time I've been, Dr Tyng has been personable and patient, taking time to explain what he sees, options, next steps, and answer any questions. I love that the care plan for extra work includes all pricing so that you know what you're getting in to. Bonus points for a wonderfully diverse staff from the receptionist to the hygienists to the dentists!

Shannon was wonderful performing the cleaning. I like that I do not have to make multiple appointments for cleaning and then check-up. I did not need any follow-up work so it was less than hour duration for the appointment.

Work is very good but customer service is seriously lacking. One doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. One of the dentist wasn't rude but not a good bedside manner. They don't listen to you. You feel like your just a number

The office is very clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing and calming. Seems brand new! I have to change dentists every time we move to a new state. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Nobody was judgmental at all. The dentist and hygienist I had I had were very gentle and caring. I had a really pleasant first experience. I'm excited to go back for my treatment plan.

I went in for a cleaning with another doctor appointment immediately following. The staff went well out the way to get me finished on time also including x-rays and a doctor visit. Especially Chandra, the hygienist. She was most professional and thorough. This is a well-run office.
