Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Fleming received his Bachelor of Sciences in Pharmacy from the Universityof Missouri, Kansas City, Pharmacy School and worked as a pharmacist through his training in dentalschool. Dr. Fleming graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Dental School in 1985.

Continuing to be an urban pioneer, Dr. Fleming moved one more time, this time seizing the opportunityto move to the Crossroads Arts District as the anchor tenant in the Filmrow Arts Building. Kansas CitysFilm Row housed the Midwestern distribution centers of companies like Warner Brothers, Paramount,MGM, 20th Century Fox, and United Artists. Now it houses Crossroads Dentistry and APEX Art Space, where we live our belief in the art of dentistry.

APEX Art Spacewas created by Dr. Dan Fleming to showcase local artists in the Kansas City Areawho might not otherwise have an opportunity to display their works in an appreciative venue. Theexhibit provides an exceptional atmosphere for clients of Crossroads Dentistry and is available for the First Fridays monthly art walk and gallery tour.

Dr. Fleming wanted to be part of the community of Crossroads, part of the art and creativity. ArchitectScott Slaggie of Janntsch Slaggie Architects worked with Dr. Fleming to create an art space, architectureand soundscape which would be a pleasant distraction for his patients without interfering with the highquality of the services Crossroads Dentistry provides.

On the first Friday of each month, Crossroads Dentistry joins the Crossroads District's other art galleries, studios, and restaurants in an evening of fun to showcase local and national artists. Crossroads Dentistrydonates wall space to local artists, with a new display each month. Thousands of visitors come to theCrossroads District, and to Crossroads Dentistrys APEX Art Space, each month. In addition to First Fridays, Crossroads Dentistry welcomes visitors to the gallery during normal officehours.

Quality work, lovely hygienists, skilled dentist. They were able to do a filling on a tooth that another dentist insisted would be a root canal (a far less pleasant & more expensive procedure). There are multiple hygienists here who I love talking to & the office staff are friendly and helpful. I don't particularly care about the artwork, but there is always tasteful, eclectic music playing.

What a wonderful experience! The staff are very friendly and it was a pleasure to chat with the hygienist while she was cleaning my teeth. Dr. Fleming was very knowledgable and went over in detail what was going on with my teeth. I needed a referral for wisdom teeth extraction, and he gave me a pretty good idea of what I was looking at and what was going to be needed. The office is clean and I love the artistry hanging on the walls throughout the building. Dr. Fleming also has an eclectic taste in music that entertains while you wait. I loved the variety. Dentist offices can be very daunting, but the bright and fun office, music, and staff make the trip much better!

Very dishonest practice. They perform one dental service and bill insurance for something different to get paid more. Do not waste your time and money here.

One star only for the friendly front desk staff and hygienists. I would not recommend this office as the dentist has poor chair-side manner and is borderline rude. After finishing my fillings, he showed an X ray said we worked on these two if you feel pain you might need additional work and I quote "but anyway ok" and left abruptly to eat lunch. There was no aftercare instructions or follow up requests, im not even sure what to do post visit as there was no explanation of next steps or precautions to take. He was also rather aggressive with turning my face during my visit. I would have appreciated the time to turn my head as instructed without having my face yanked in the direction he preferred. During my procedure, my face was constantly saturated with water by the hygienist and I had to constantly ask for water to rinse as she was too distracted to provide a refill when I was told to rinse. Overall, I appreciate the completed work but I will not return to this establishment, however I can speak for the front desk staff and say that they are very pleasant and helpful.

I called to reschedule due to work. I was charged for a missed appt staying I was a no call/ no show. One of the dentists even used the paper towel they clip around patients necks as a place to dry off his fingers and place tools as it was still resting on my chest.

Five star first visit with Crossroads Dentistry! From Lulu at the front desk to the Dr.'s Assistant, Kim, to the dentist, Dr.Daniel Fleming-- everyone was highly professional with a genuine warmth. Dr. Dan's exam was the most meticulous I've ever received. Swank, artsy atmosphere with a pragmatic, down to earth vibe... different local artists showcased monthly. I walked out with several cityscape paintings by local artist, @Katheryn Krause, for the coming soon Airbnb Studio at my Benton House. Highly recommend!

Continued to schedule appointments without our knowledge after we made them aware that we had moved out of state. They tried charging missed appointment fees on these. Sleazy business practice.

Crossroads Dentistry continues to charge us for missed appointments even after we have moved. I've emailed them twice to tell them to remove us as patients, but they've charged us over $300 for appointments that we did not make. When we saw them as our dentist, they were great, but their bookkeeping could use some serious accountability and ethics overhaul.

I had work done here a few times. I have had issues with my teeth ever since. They messed up one of my fillings and I'm currently having to pay more money to have it fixed by a different doctor. This company continuously charges you for more than you discussed. They have sent me bills for things I've already paid. They do not keep good billing records. Save your time and money and don't go here.

Save your time and money and do not go here. Each time I came in, I waited 30 minutes to over an hour before being worked on. Even at my cleaning, I was there for three hours. Poor dental work was done, causing me to have to get it fixed at another dentist.

Took me calling 3 times over a period of 6 months to get a quote for dental work. Went to get a tooth built up and they kept me waiting for 45 mins then the dentist numbed me and kept me waiting another 45 mins. The appointment took 3 hours and they were unable to complete the work they had previously promised. The dentist ended up referring me to an oral surgeon which was going to cost me additional money I didn't need to pay. Ended up going to my old dentist to get the work done because they immediately gave me a quote and ran a predetermination and were able to complete everything in an hour and half. Will not be returning.

Their hours aren't great and when you have to reschedule due to their narrow time windows (not open weekends and they close at noon on fridays) they charge you $120. Be careful working with these guys.
