Dr. Daining (pronounced like 'raining' with a D) grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received his Bachelor 's degree from Seattle Pacific University and returned to Michigan to attend dental school at the University of Michigan. After graduating in 2012, he earned his Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Florida. Dr. Daining has earned his Fellowship Award into the International College of Oral Implantology and has completed continuing education in Cosmetics, Occlusion/TMD, and Endodontics.
He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and the International College of Oral Implantology.
You will likely have the pleasure of meeting Dr. Daining's wife, Gina, who is also his dental hygienist. They have enjoyed serving together in five international dental volunteer trips to Honduras, the Philippines, and most recently, Haiti. They look forward to continued opportunities to serve the local and international communities.When not engaged in lively discussions about dentistry, Dr. Daining and Gina enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Daining and Gina love our state and have enjoyed discovering all of it's natural wonders. I'd love to share my photography with you and tell you more about these adventures in person. Dr. Daining and Gina went on their first international dental mission trip to Honduras during their second year of dental school. Since then, they have served multiple times in Honduras and the Philippines. They feel blessed to be in a position to help people in a unique way, and believe it is their calling to give back to those in need.
In developing nations, there is both a lack of understanding regarding dental issues and a lack of access to dental care. Whether it was restoring a smile or removing an infected tooth, it is easy to have a huge impact on people's lives in a relatively short amount of time.
Gina and Dr. Daining first served together in Honduras after dating for a year, and have continued to do so throughout their marriage. Serving together, both locally and internationally, is something they are passionate about.
'This beautiful 16-year-old Filipina girl (pictured above) came into our clinic with a front tooth that was broken in half. It had broken 5 years previous, and she had since learned to cover her mouth with her hand when laughing or smiling. Initially, she was hesitant to allow me to even look at her smile and took some convincing to sit down in the chair for treatment. We were able to restore her tooth back to its original form with a filling.
After the visit, I handed her a mirror to examine the final result. She radiated happiness! Even still, her impulse when smiling was to cover her mouth with her hand. I told her that now she will have to unlearn the habit of covering her beautiful smile.
This is just one of the countless memories I have from volunteering overseas. I can 't even begin to imagine practicing dentistry without the experiences and perspectives that I have gained serving abroad.'

Dr. Daining was easy to talk to and did great work removing 2 wisdom teeth that were giving me a hard time, on first appointment! The staff was friendly, quick and efficient. If you need your teeth worked on, look no further!

Went there due to dental pain. They were able to get me in the same day. I love the fact that you can book online (yay!). The Dr. was very nice and non-judgmental. He discussed my options with me and also offered empathy. The best part about the clinic is that they seem to know their patients. I heard both the receptionist and the dentist ask patients questions they could only ask if they knew and remembered their patients. For me, that is a big deal.

As much as I hate going to the dentist, this is the best one to go to. Dr. Daining and all his colleagues are cheerful and attentive, and they get the work done right the first time. It's the type of place I'd go to all the time...if only it weren't the dentist.

Today, even with one of the Staff not there, there was no rushing around and everyone was just as if everyone were there. They are accomodating for the fact that I don't care to have cold water squirted in my mouth onto my teeth. They have other choices other than MINT for working in my mouth. That's a big one for me that no other Dentist ever offered. I recommend them to everyone who complains about their Dentist or to those who may be new in the area.

Dr. Daining & his Team are the best!! Travel often for work, and try to schedule my appointments while I'm in town - because we haven't found anyone else that is this good. And every time, it's worth the visit. Jamie was a delight when I call to schedule something, and always gets back to me anytime I have a question. They were easy to work with for a payment schedule, when I needed one. And very helpful with the coverage of my insurance. They really care about their customers here. Dr. Daining is professional + upfront about what he can do for your treatment. And all around, a great guy to talk with in the office. He was very considerate for comfort, (which I really appreciated with super sensitive teeth) and trust his sound advice - when it comes to any next steps. The results speak for themselves. He was also very helpful with coordinating for my Ortho treatment(s) -and- took the time to reshape/fix my front teeth afters, so that now they look great!! The work looks amazing, and he really looks out for me and my partner - every time we go in.
