Dr. Jim D. Nored is a general dentist who has been practicing in Crosby for over 10 years. He attended dental school at theUniversity of Texas, Houston, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1972. He continues his dental education yearly to stay up to date with advances in the dental field and has received advanced training in implant dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery and stem cell transfers. He is a member of theAmerican Dental Association, theGreater Houston Dental Societyand theTexas Dental Association.
As a dentist, Dr. Nored is committed to providing comprehensive, safe, biological, and metal-free general dentistry. He prides himself on his careful consideration of each patients dental background and goals, and on his long-term attention to detail. Dr. Nored believes there is no shortage of natural cures nor a scarcity of natural health providers and is excited to see the field of dentistry begin to incorporate natural medicines.
Dr. Hale McDaniel completed her undergraduate studies atTexas A&M Universitybefore attending and graduating from dental school at theUniversity of Oklahomain 1994. She continues her dental education regularly and is always learning about new dental technology and techniques that can help her serve her patients better. She has also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. She is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. McDaniel has three daughters. Her eldest daughter is married and currently attending physical therapy school. Her middle daughter is in nursing school, and her youngest daughter just graduated high school. She has been taking excellent care of our patients here in Crosby since August 2017.
Robin has been happily married since May 1994, and she has three grown children and one son-in-law. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family and going on road trips more than anything else!
Susan has been part of our team since June 2016. She enjoys working together to reach our practice goals each month. Dr. Nored is easy to work with, and she loves seeing how much our patients love him.
Connie joined our team in September 2018, after receiving her registered dental assistant (RDA) certification at Austin Community College in 2005. She loves what we do here and the people she gets to work with. Respect is at the foundation of the good working relationships at Crosby Dental Center. Her favorite part of working as a registered dental assistant is helping patients overcome bad experiences with dentistry by showing love and compassion, and by helping them discover newfound confidence in their beautiful smiles.
When she is not hard at work, Connie loves traveling, visiting family and spending time with her husband, Charles, her two sons, Joseph and Chris, and her first grandbaby, Jaxson, who is the light of her life.
Brooke has acquired over 20 years of experience in the dental field since graduating from Tyler Junior College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene in 2001. She joined our team in February 2018 and loves the feeling of our practice. She considers her coworkers part of her family. Brooke enjoys being able to serve our community and loves her patients. She is diligent in providing care and education for our patients, making their dental cleanings and other treatments as comfortable as possible.
Brooke loves her career and is devoted to her family, enjoying their time together as time marches on. Brooke and her husband, Danny, have been married since 2003, and they have two sons, Ethan and Cayden. They are avid boaters and enjoy traveling.

I have used Dr Nored for years. He has always gone above and beyond to make sure his patients are comfortable and well taken care of. He also is honest unlike many other dentist practices in the industry.

I will start by saying that everyone at the office was very friendly and nice. That is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. The frustration was when we called and asked if they took children there and told them our child was 3, pretty sure she had a cavity, and it was her first time at the dentist. They still said they did pediatric visits. When we arrived in the back, the first thing we were told is they weren't going to do x-rays because they didn't have a machine small enough....then why didn't you tell me that. So to keep this short, at the end they referred us to a pediatric dentist anyways for the follow up of her cavities we thought she had and already mentioned. The reason we didn't go to a pediatric dentist to begin with was because it said on the website they were wholistic, I wouldn't consider it a wholistic dentist either. So I'm the end, it was my child's first experience, no x-rays, we were in the room for less than 30 minutes, and it was $160... just to be referred to someone else. Hindsight, since it wasn't a actual wholistic dentist, we could have just gone to a pediatric dentist to get a cleaning and x-rays for $99. They will take pediatric visits but they aren't really equipped for small children. I wish they would have just told us that when we called and told them how old our child was and that were certain she had a cavity. If we were just going to be referred out anyways. Again, the people there were all very friendly and kind!

Dr. Nored does a wonderful job. He makes going to the dentist a positive experience. If you ever have complications of any kind he is very responsive and will take care of you even if it's at an inconvenient time. He cares about his patients. His staff is also great.

Went in for an infection was told I need an extraction a root canal also a deep clean for paradontal disease the staff was very friendly but the doctor was abrupt short and rushed highly disappointed in the doctor and his seemingly lack of care for the patient

I didn't think it was possible to leave a dentist's office smiling after a tooth extraction, but this team of dentists, dental hygienists, and clerical staff are so supportive that you will! I was insanely nervous to have a tooth removed and my hygienist, Susan, held my hand the entire time and they were very nice about my nervous sweating and shaking! They've been easy to contact regarding my aftercare, and my dentist Dr. MacDaniels, was professional, caring, and quick during the procedure. Their clerical team (Juliet I believe is her name) is always attentive, caring, and friendly. I've found my forever dentist!

My personal dental journey has been a great challenge. I first started using Dr Nored for my youngest son-who has a huge aversion to dentists, but Dr Nored was calm and sensitive to my son's fears. He's very sensitive to listening to his clients! A rare feature in today's world. We were able to get the work done we needed to. Thank God!! Skip ahead couple years, I am in a huge pickle myself after falling out of an attic.(.. lol, yes the Grinch caught me putting Christmas in the attic.) I can not speak now , but the staff is very patient and understanding. I want to recognize Juliet and Dr Nored for their professionalism and passion for what they do!! I can't thank you enough to be a part of my recovery team. Plus they indulge my bad sense of humor. Love them and their honestly. Do yourself a favor, give Dr Nored's team a chance to show you how to be the best you that you deserve!!

I had been with the same dental practice for 3 years and being a creature of habit I didn't want to move. I was referred to Dr. Gemp by a colleague of mine. Very impressed! I think like most people I enjoy walking into a clean office, with friendly assistants and being able to leave with little delay when paying my bill. Great Job!
