They continued to date throughout dental school. On what they like to call Double Match Day, Dr. Cronin and Dr. Czarnik not only confirmed they were the perfect match by getting engaged at the Art Institute of Chicago, but they also both matched with their top orthodontic residency choices.

The couple loves to travel the country and world together, and have been fortunate to practice dentistry in rural Guatemala, explore the hills and bays of Vietnam and backpack to the tip of Patagonia. Theyve dreamed of opening an orthodontic practice that delivers the highest standard of care, all the while in a fun atmosphere, and are thrilled to be serving up fantastic smiles in Westminster and the surrounding Denver suburbs.

2020 marked a new chapter in their story, when they welcomed their daughter, Renny, into the world. Now, when mom and dad arent perfecting patients smiles, they can usually be found enjoying the great outdoors and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado as a family of three.

Dr. Carolyn Cronin is a board-certified orthodontist. She graduated first in her class from dental school at University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Cronin was then chosen to attend one of the most prestigious orthodontic residencies in the country at the University of North Carolina. Now, at Cronin & Czarnik Orthodontics in Westminster and Winter Park, she loves helping patients transform their smiles and seeing their confidence and personalities shine through.

Dr. Scott Czarnik graduated at the top of his dental school class from University of Illinois. He was then selected to attend orthodontic residency at the highly esteemed University of Minnesota. Following his residency, he took the additional step of becoming board certified. At Cronin & Czarnik Orthodontics, Dr. Czarnik is committed to delivering high quality, leading-edge orthodontic care in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Dr. Carolyn Cronin was born and raised in rural Southern Illinois and was the oldest of three children. Dr. Cronin graduated valedictorian of her high school class, and went on to the University of Illinois to major in Integrative Biology. Dr. Cronins first post-college job was traveling the country on the Jonas Brothers tour as a marketing brand ambassador.

Serendipitously, through her interaction with enthusiastic adolescent fans, she learned about the hearts and minds of young teens. As a teen herself, she spent many years in braces, and remembered the confidence she developed through her smile transformation. Dr. Cronins AHA moment was when she decided orthodontics would be the most fulfilling career: combining her passions for science, art, and social interaction to boost others self-esteem.

She graduated first in her dental school class at University of Illinois-Chicago and was chosen to attend arguably the most prestigious orthodontic residency in the country, University of North Carolina.

Upon moving to Colorado, Dr. Cronin opened Cronin & Czarnik Orthodontics with her husband and fellow orthodontist, Dr. Scott Czarnik. She also became a faculty member at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Lukes where she serves on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team.

Dr. Cronin loves exploring Colorado and although newer to skiing, she got up the courage to try her first double black diamond run last season. She is happiest spending quality time with her daughter, Renny, hanging out with family and friends, drawing, practicing yoga and hiking.

Dr. Scott Czarnik grew up in the Chicago-land area with his younger sister and parents. He is an all-around Chicago sports fan, including the Chicago Cubs despite growing up on the Southside of town (White Sox Territory).

Dr. Czarnik excelled at the science and art of dentistry, and after graduating third in his dental school class, he was selected to attend orthodontic residency at the highly esteemed University of Minnesota.

After completing his residency, Dr. Czarnik moved to Colorado alongside his wife, Dr. Cronin. He became a faculty member on the Cleft Lip and Palate team at St. Lukes Presbyterian Hospital to provide specialty care to those patients in need of complex treatment.

His love of orthodontics keeps him busy through pursuing numerous hours of annual continuing education. He is a member of several Specialty Groups to encourage communication and learning between dentists and orthodontists.

Dr. Czarnik is one of a select group of orthodontists to complete The Aligner Intensive Fellowship, a program open to top Invisalign providers. The rigorous course is for those with the highest standards in Invisalign treatment. The fellowship helped Dr. Czarnik expand his clear aligner expertise, allowing him to use Invisalign to treat even the most complex cases.

When Dr. Czarnik isnt creating dream smiles, youll find him spending time with his family, including his daughter, Renny, exploring new mountain bike trails and going on hikes. Hes up for almost any adventure. He also puts his chemistry degree to use by experimenting with fermentation and continues his pursuit to perfect the best Homebrew and Kombucha recipes.
