Dr. Critchfield began his dental career atBrigham Young University (BYU)where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree. He attended theUniversity of the Pacificto complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery where he graduated with honors as a member of the Dental National Honor Society. He worked as a clinical instructor for three years in the Phoenix College Dental Hygiene program.
Dr. Critchfield started his practice in the Metrocenter area in 1980. He continues to care for many of his original patients, their family, and friends. His practice has grown due to the many referrals of these loyal patients.
Dr. Critchfield is a member of the Central Arizona Dental Society (CADS), theArizona State Dental Association (AZDA), and theAmerican Dental Association (ADA). As a member of these prestigious organizations, Dr. Critchfield stays current with the latest technology and newest treatment techniques.
When hes not in the office creating beautiful smiles for his patients, Dr. Critchfield enjoys playing golf, reading a good book, and traveling. Dr. Critchfield also has an amazing family with his wife Tracy, their seven children, and grandchildren with whom they enjoy spending time.
I have been going to Critchfield dental for about 13 years. The staff has always been so kind. They do a great job and I have never had any problems. My kids get their teeth cleaned there too and the staff is also really good with kids. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Stroyan was born and raised in a small town near Spokane, Washington before attending Washington State University. His dental journey brought him to Arizona, where he continued his education and graduated from Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine in Glendale. After dental school, he moved to New England, where he practiced dentistry in New Hampshire and Vermont. After a few cold winters in the Northeast, he and his wife were excited to settle back down in sunny Arizona. Dr. Stroyan is very excited to serve the community that he loves so much.

I have been in the dental field since 2015 and I see each day as an opportunity to learn something new and exciting. I love interacting with patients and making sure they feel comfortable. I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and use it to effectively communicate with and understand patients needs. Patients and co-workers know they can ask me anything and I am always willing to help and resolve any issue.
I was born and raised in northern California and moved here in January of 2020. I have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy. I am currently in school for a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Strategic Human Resources. During my free time I love to play with my children, travel, and sing karaoke. I am also a big sports fan and love my California teams including the Lakers, Warriors, 49ers, and the Giants.

I joined Critchfield Dental in 2004 but started working in the field in 1989 and have 15 years of orthodontics experience. At our practice, I handle scheduling, post insurance payments, and general front office duties. I also review treatment plans with patients, explaining what the doctor recommends and why he feels its important.
My husband Rick and I were married in 1982. We have three children, four grandchildren, and two dogsDory & Westley. Our family loves vacationing in Cancun! I love home improvement projects, gardening, and family get-togethers. Im a big fan of the Arizona Cardinals and really enjoy attending their games. I also like cheering for the Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns.
