I was referred to Dr. Maas and I am so glad that I was as I have a lot of dental work that needs to be done. Dr. Maas was so kind and understanding as I have a fear of dentist. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have recommended co-workers and others to this Dr. Maas

I had a terrible experience. She kept pestering me to get several crowns done for years. I had 3 of them done and 2 I had to have replaced. The worst part is I swallowed a crown they didn't secure properly. She wanted me to pay for it! Went to a different dentist and had them correctly put in. Also the approximately $10,000 of dental work she recommended didn't need to be done. New dentist said my teeth work perfect. Please get a second opinion is all I can say.

Don't do it. If you value your teeth, time and money you will read this entire review. Dr. Maas is severely lacking in dignity, professionalism and moral character. While having a permanent crown fitted for my mouth the crown broke. The fitting was not done correctly by the assistant and while making the adjustments Dr. Maas broke the crown. Rather than informing me of this Dr. Maas cemented the broken crown to the post in my mouth. Yes, you read that right. She CEMENTED a broken crown to the post in my mouth. I had no idea it was broken or how it looked until after they handed me the mirror to check it out. I immediately reacted to how terrible it looked and questioned why so much metal was exposed and how misshapen it was and her response was "that's the crown you chose" - I chose porcelain fused to metal which is $200 CHEAPER than what SHE WANTS you to get and also that it was the same shape as the temporary- which was clearly a lie. After going home upset and then getting a second opinion, I went back to see her and to discuss the obvious issues. The second I opened my mouth she said "oh my, that's broken. It was the same crown she let me leave her office with and I told her just that but there was no response. Just that it needed to be redone. And wouldn't you know- she had a free two hours available to redo all the work right then and there. Coincidence? No- she knew what needed to be done the second I requested the appointment. She replaced my broken crown and with the more expensive $200 crown at no charge. What Dentist would do that for a patient that broke their own tooth? She put me through hours of unnecessary drilling to get the permanent tooth off- for what? Because she thought she was going to get away with putting a broken crown in my mouth. That is absolutely insane and extremely scary. I wonder what else she's gotten away with. She's sloppy too, during my initial crown appointment she drilled a whole under my tongue after slipping off my tooth and you guessed it- she blamed ME! There are so many other good dentist in the area- choose another.

I've had three terrible experiences with dentists and one of them was with Maas. I only started going to her because she was so close to my house, but I wish I would have never started. For six years she pestered me about getting old metal fillings out, really, really small ones which were she said were toxic. I finally gave in which was a terrible mistake. She removed larger amounts of my tooth to put in some resin material which I later found have the same rumors as the metal fillings. I then had larger holes in my tooth. I now find out that the material she used is breaking down. I found out that the resin has a life span of about 7 years vs the metal fillings which can last for life. I wish I never, ever used her.

I also had unnecessary drilling done. And x-ray pictures that had to be redone again and again. One of the supposed cavities (I had a single cavity in highschool before coming to Maas) was drilled so deep it needed a pulp cap. Now, that tooth is super sensitive to everything, even chewing crunchy foods and my electric toothbrush. It's miserable.

After a long history of good check-ups from other dentists, I started going to Dr. Maas's office. Immediately, I am told I have cavities. I should have got a second opinion at that point, and now I have to live with that regret. I did think that it was possible that my luck had just run out and I was due to have a cavity at some point. They drilled and sold me fillings. I perfected my home dental hygiene routine, including daily flossing, an expensive recommended toothbrush, and a strong fluoride gel they sold me. Next visit: more cavities. All you have to go by is the x-rays they show you, which don't mean much if you're not trained to interpret them, and are taken by cameras on unstable, bouncing arms that cause repeated do-overs and who knows how many blurry artifacts to appear on your x-rays. I no longer trusted them and changed dentists. First visit to new dentist: no cavities. Subsequent visits to new dentist: no cavities. It still could have been just a series of unfortunate coincidences (though there's no excuse for not repairing/ replacing unstable x-ray arms) until I spoke to a coworker who had the same cavity-free dental history until visiting Dr. Maas's office, whereupon multiple cavities were found (and was also given repeated, bouncing x-rays). Now this person is suffering from sensitive teeth from drilling and filling that were likely as unnecessary as mine. Finding out that there are other victims made me write the review that I should have written long ago. Avoid this place! Do not let them ruin your teeth for the rest of your life just so they can make a buck!

Had two crowns done here and they look beautiful! Dr. Maas made sure they fit wonderfully and the color matches. Will definitely return for all future dental needs.

I am so glad I found Dr. Maas. I have had very bad experiences with other dentists. So bad that I just stopped going to a dentist and my teeth were in bad shape. Dr Maas took me on and makes sure that I feel no pain. I appreciate her and all the staff. I still have anxiety going but I go. I think it's so cute how one staff member will pat my shoulder while Dr. Maas shoots the numbing in my gums. I have no problem with needles and it really doesn't hurt. But they still try to distract me. Thank you

I went to see Dr. Maas for a loose filling and she really took care of me. I don't have to worry anymore about my old metal fillings falling out when I chew. I'm so glad I found Dr. Maas!

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Maas. I developed a toothache and called Dr. Maas's office first thing this morning. The receptionist was very kind and fit me in a few hours later. The staff was wonderful....very kind and understanding of a person like me who gets very nervous when anyone even mentions the word "dentist". The hygienist, who took the xrays and cleaned my teeth was very kind and patient with me. Everyone's friendly and patient manner made an uncomfortable experience much better. I cant speak to the quality of the dental work as I have not had any done yet.
