Dr. Carol Chang has extensive experience ranging from complete smile make-overs and implants to pediatric dentistry. She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M System in 2000, at the top 10% of her class with honors and is an elected member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), a national honorary dental society. She has won numerous awards for her academic and research achievements from organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Association of Women Dentists, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Society and the Korean American Dental Association (KADA). She was also active in research and has published an article in a scientific journal as well as several abstracts and has presented her research findings in Washington, D.C. at the American and International Associations of Dental Research.
Dr. Chang focuses on comprehensive and preventative care and has a special, gentle manner of handling patients who are fearful of dental treatment. Because of her gentleness, she is especially good with children and sees children of all ages. She also has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry for adults, which includes complete smile makeovers, implants, complicated dental restorations and the latest whitening procedures. As a commitment to keeping up with the latest dental advances, Dr. Chang attends numerous dental conferences and continuing education throughout the year. This has led to her being awarded a Fellow from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2007. In 2015, Dr. Chang was awarded the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), which is the highest honor available at the AGD and one of the most respected designations within the dental profession. Less than 1% of the dentists in the nation has this achievement. Dr. Chang also invests in the latest technologies to provide the best quality care and comfort for her patients. Dr. Chang believes in helping those in need and volunteers with a medical mission team in Mexico to provide them with much needed dental care. In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys reading, photography, cycling and traveling with her wonderful husband.
Ashley Brinson has been working in the dental field since 1996 and has been a hygienist since 2000. While attending college at the University of Houston for her Biology Bachelors Degree, she worked as a dental assistant and discovered her love for dentistry. After graduation, she went on to attend the University of Texas Dental School in Houston to obtain her Dental Hygiene degree, which is one of the top recognized Dental Hygiene programs in Texas. She graduated in the top 5 of her class with honors at UT Hygiene School in 2000. During hygiene school, Ashley was active in scientific research and won 1st place in a research competition from UT Dental School. Her research was about the link and correlation between periodontal disease and heart disease. Ashley is very caring and helps her patients through education and focuses on preventative care. She is compassionate with her patients and has a very gentle touch with her treatment. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her twelve year old daughter, reading, traveling, gardening, outdoor activities and loves animals of all kinds.
Originally from Thailand, Kathy Svec has been proud to call Houston home since 1985 when she moved here as a child. Kathy has over 15 yrs of experience in the dental field as both a dental assistant and hygienist and graduated from the HCC Coleman Health Science program with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Kathy realized the importance of a beautiful and healthy smile early on and has found her passion in educating proper oral hygiene practices to ensure her patients can smile with confidence. Kathys philosophy is one of providing honest and compassionate preventative care with a focus on continuing education and staying current on the latest dental technologies and techniques. When not at work Kathy enjoys adventurous eating, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family which include her husband, 16yr old son and 3 month old daughter.

This a great dental office, top to bottom! My whole family has Dr. Chang as a dentist. She's extremely knowledgeable, she's patient (a BIG plus for me) and she's genuinely interested in your dental care, and your care as an individual. I've never had an issue booking an appointment, especially in emergency situations. She and her staff are extremely thorough with their services, whether it's a cleaning, filling, or more extensive procedures. By the way, her front office is amazing! Missy and her team are so helpful. It's such a pleasure to work with a nice, efficient and highly competent front office, their great interaction sets a wonderful tone for the entire experience. So glad I found this office!

Dr. Chang and staff are excellent. My family and I have been patients here for over 4 years and have received superior service and care. Missy, Yolonda, Ashley and the entire staff there are professional, curtious, knowledgeable and kind. They greet you by name and keep to your appointment times. They are also exceptional in emergency situations.

I hate going to the Dentist or at least that is how I used to feel. Crestwater works hard at getting to know you and making you feel comfortable and confident. I would recommend them to everyone who has ever feared going to the dentist. The Crestwater team is awesome!

Crestwater dental is amazing. The staff has been there for some time and they are all so friendly and professional. Missy (front desk manager) is always very pleasant and kind. Ashley (dental hygienist) always performs the best cleanings, has great expertise and she is a so much fun to talk to. She keeps me laughing yet performs an excellent job with a positive attitude. I have always enjoy my experience with Crestwater Dental. The number one thing I appreciate about that office is the fact that they do not make you wait. I can schedule my visit with ease knowing that it will not interfere with my busy day. All the staff are very nice and professional, especially Ashley, my Hygienist! She is very friendly and we get along so well. I request her all the time because she understands my special condition and works with my accordingly. I would recommend Crestwater 100%.
