I am. A past patient of Dr. S and I miss him . I moved to Maine.he is gentle and kind. He listens to what you are saying. He never appears to be in a rush. His knowledge is incredible. I sent my sister to him and she appreciates him. What a man I hope to visit him this summer

I'm so happy to have found this great practice!! Dr. Dan Stiefel and his staff are wonderful: kind, caring and knowledgeable. I was put at ease immediately, options were explained in detail, and I knew right away that I was in excellent hands. Dr. Stiefel has a warm bedside manner and he is exactly the periodontist I'd been hoping to find. Hallelujah!.

I was put at ease immediately, options were explained in detail, and I knew right away that I was in excellent hands. I had the most amazing encounter with Dr Stiefel and his staff! He is kind, gentle and very concerned about the person he is treating. He took time at the beginning of the appointment to sit down and get to know me! I never experienced anything like that in my interactions with other health care professionals. I am absolutely thrilled to have chosen Crestal Health Periodontics and will recommend him to all my friends and family. Feeling Blessed! Thank you again Dr. Stiefel!

I had terrible gums for 15 years and every dentist I went to told me to just floss harder. Dr Stiefel fixed my problem in a couple months and was kind thoughtful and professional in the process. I couldn't recommend Crestal Health any more highly.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Stiefel and his entire staff. I needed a significant gingival graft involving 6 front bottom teeth, and put it off for years. I went ahead with Dr. Steifel and it couldn't have gone better. From pain management, to proper healing, to being supportive and explaining things, to routine follow ups, he and his team have been great! I am now 1 year and 3 months since the procedure and it turned out beautifully and I haven't had any problems. You can't even tell where the graft is!

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Stiefel and his entire staff. I needed a significant gingival graft involving 6 front bottom teeth, and put it off for years. I went ahead with Dr. Steifel and it couldn't have gone better. From pain management, to proper healing, to being supportive and explaining things, to routine follow ups, he and his team have been great! I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Stiefel and the entire staff, that I felt obligated to write a review for my very first time. It started with the simple phone call to Gabby, an associate at the practice. She reeled me in! She was compassionate, did all the nitty gritty work of getting all the information from my dentist. I didn't have to lift a finger! WOW! Then, Dr. Stiefel game me 100% of his attention at my initial appointment. Then, the procedure, OMG! No pain, no after math of agony effects from the extraction. LOL, I asked him if he could be my dentist. Unfortunately, he is a periodontist. I definitely recommend Crest Health!!

The whole staff at Crestal is exceptional--very professional and kind. Dr. Stiefel compassionately gives each patient his full attention, making sure to include you in the process at each step of the way.

I am writing this review because I am so impressed with this office and Dr. Stiefel. I love the fact that Dr. Stiefel is conservative with his treatment and will exhaust all options before recommending surgery. I was originally referred to Dr. Stiefel by my dentist for a consultation on possible gum grafting. I can truly say that I was terrified!! In fact it took me a year to actually work up the courage to go. Dr. Stiefel was so patient with me. He is such a kind and caring individual. He worked with me until I was ready to move forward with the procedure. I had the gum grafting done on six teeth. He did an amazing job!!!! It looks great and I was actually surprised at how quickly I healed (I did follow their instructions completely). I give this office 5 stars and would give them more if I could. Dr. Stiefel has created a practice that is truly focused on the patient. He is a gifted surgeon and truly compassionate individual. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!!!

Dr. Stiefel and his team provide the most professional service you can, better than I received in London and Paris. And he listens carefully, a rarity. He is kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. I recommend his practice to everyone, and I am a highly critical professor type - brilliant!

If you need to see a periodontist, go to Crestal Dental. They provide stellar service and care. I trust Dr. Stiefel and his staff, implicitly. Turning to them saved me unecessary periodontal work, amounting to many thousands of dollars, pain, and missed work. Dr. Stiefel was recommended to me as a second opinion after another local periodontist told me I needed a minimum of $12,000 in periodontal work, necessary for my level of gum recession and bone loss. Dr. Stiefel said, "Not so fast." He wanted me to try some simple, free home care options, first, to see if I could reverse the progression. It worked. After 6 months to a year of observation, I did need one graft, totalling approximately $4000. Wow. The graft has held up beautifully, now, for maybe 8 years. I see Dr. Stiefel for an annual check up and his hygienists every 6 months. They are all gentle, lovely people. I've sent a friend to the practice (she was thrilled with the service) and recommend it to countless others. Thank you, Crestal Dental! Jenn Weeber, Amherst, MA
