Dr. Sarmistha Banerjee is an independent practicing dentist in Houston, focusing on Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as Prosthodontics. She uses her extensive experience to provide the highest level of dental care in a thorough, gentle and compassionate manner. Patient relations and patient care, along with ethical and quality work are the cornerstones of her practice. Dr. Banerjee received her Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery in 1996 from Manipal University, a premier dental college in India. Subsequently she completed her specialty in Prosthodontics with a Masters Degree from the University of Texas Dental School Houston in 2007. She did clinical rotations at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Banerjee keeps herself current with the dental fields evolving techniques and materials through continuing education programs. This enables her to provide state of the art treatment options for her patients.

Angelle is from Lafayette, LA, and has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years. She and her husband Steve recently moved from Dallas to Houston to be closer to family, including her two adult children. Angelle loves cooking Cajun dishes, and her passion is caring for people. Getting to know our patients and providing them with excellent care is her top priority.
Lizeth went to Houston Dental Assistant School and received her RDA license in 2016. She joined Crest Family Dental soon after her graduation. Lizeth is very friendly and loves to help make our patients feel comfortable and at ease. She makes each day a great day with her upbeat attitude and dedication to teamwork. Outside the office Lizeth likes to spend quality time with her family.
Marki started with the practice Sept 15,1986! The patients have become her friends over the past 30 years! Formerly an English teacher, she can teach you about your insurance benefits! She is a native of Kansas City, graduated from the Univ of KS, lived in St. Louis before moving to Houston in 1974. She is married with 2 kids, and 5 grandchildren!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to them 6 months ago for a cleaning and checkup, asked as I was leaving if I owed anything, and was told, "No, you're covered." A few days ago I get a text msg from these people, you have an appt, you'll be charged if you don't show up, please confirm appt. I know for a fact I do not have an appt, I always avoid setting those up 6 months in advance. So I text back, no I do not. So they call and tell me "Oh, our system automatically does that." You set up an appointment without my consent and are threatening to charge me for it? Do you want to schedule one now? Uh, no. And then the dental assistant very casually says that I have a balance of 249 would I like to pay that? When I asked what that is for, she responds: "No, we were never in your network." For the record they were most definitely in my network when I went to them, I had to double and triple check before even signing up for the insurance. I also sent them my insurance information via email. When I went to my appointment specifically asked is this covered? and they said YES. Now I get to spend weeks running around try to speak to my insurance company. Also why is this the first I'm hearing of this MY APPT WAS 6 MONTHS AGO. I need to find a new dentist, RUN don't walk.

My wife and I have been a patient here for 30 years, first with Dr Morgan, and now with Dr Banerjee. Dr Banerjee is deeply committed to the long term dental welfare of her patients and is proactive in ensuring that the right procedures are done in a timely manner to positively affect the longevity of our teeth. When I visit this office, the dentist doesn't just focus on that day's cleaning or procedure, but she has a multi year plan to keep our teeth and gums healthy for years in advance. She also promotes healthy brushing, flossing, gum stimulation, and night guard habits. I feel that my long term dental health is well taken care of by Dr Banerjee. The office also invests in the latest technology. As proof of our commitment to this dentist, my wife and I have been commuting to her office from our Los Angeles home for several years now, and will continue to do so.

I've benefitted from the professional skills of Dr Banarjee since the first day she began on Walnut Bend. She has repeatedly saved and restored my teeth and gums. She exercises attention to detail and skill at reconstructing worn teeth. I believe her to be the finest dentist I have had in my 70 years.

My husband Ray and I have been coming to this office for more than 30 years. The staff has always treated us like family. They are very friendly and kind and respectful towards us. Dr. Banerjee and the dental hygienist are excellent.

I have been coming here since I was a child. In 15-20 years it has always been a great atmosphere. They are all like family and my teeth are clean and healthy. I definitely would recommend!

Went in for a cleaning today and had a great experience. The entire staff was friendly and the love the feel of the office. Not on the 8 th floor in a building with 20 other dentists. Loved the light aromatherapy in the back ground. I appreciate that Mary took the time to walk me through everything from the tools being used to preventative steps to keep my grill looking fresh! Looking for to getting some of this silver replaced next round!!!

All my family is extremely fortunate to find an excellent Dentist . Dr Banerjee is highly professional who recommends and provides services that are essential.The entire office staff and front desk is very cordial and courteous with all patients who walk in. Dr Banerjee is very adept in her work and our entire family has been in good care since 3 years. we have always felt very comfortable with all the procedures she has performed due to her skill. She has lot of patience to go over any concerns we may have and recommends suitable advice that is cost effective. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
