Dr. Michael R. Zetz, Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio. He received his MS in Orthodontics and an Orthodontic Certificate from St. Louis University, a Hospital Dentistry Certificate from Ohio State University, a DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a BS from Wofford College. He has a full team of qualified Charleston orthodontic specialists that share his passions to bring smiles all throughout the Lowcountry.
Lisa is our Patient Coordinator and marketing director. She has over 20 years of experience in orthodontics. Originally from Alabama, Lisa relocated from Charlotte, NC to the Lowcountry to be near the beach. She enjoys spending time kayaking, watching football, and spending time with family, friends, and her Yorkie, Zelda.
Michele is our Treatment Coordinator. She has been working in the orthodontic field for over 32 years. She moved to SC 4 years ago after calling New Jersey her home for all her life. She loves anything to do with the NY Yankees & Giants. Cooking is a passion she has and in her spare time, she loves to spend it with her daughter, Justine, and their two dogs Beckham & Giabella. She also loves to travel, cook, and go on new adventures.
Heather is our financial and insurance coordinator. She will help you select a payment plan that you feel comfortable with as well as work hard with your insurance company so our patients get the most out of their benefits.

Dr. Zetz and the Crescent Moon staff are amazing! They go far and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of in every capacity. I've enjoyed my experience thus far. They make the braces journey worthwhile.

I was referred to Crescent Moon Orthodontics by my dentist in Walterboro. From the moment I walked in I was given A+ service. Heather at the front desk gave me a warm welcome. I was then taken straight back by Michelle for my consult and she was the sweetest and took great care of me. Dr. Zetz was wonderful and listened to my concerns and after recommending braces, he was able to put them on THAT DAY! I was very pleased and so happy to do business with these great people.

Everyone is very friendly and does their job well. Dr Zetz is patient and explains everything thoroughly. Definitely would recommend this office.

My daughter is currently a braces patient there...They have to be the NICEST doctors office I've ever been to. They're even willing to have someone come in early or on their day off to put the wire back in my daughters mouth after her dentist appointment. I highly recommend this orthodontist!
