Dr. Michael R. Zetz, Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio. He received his MS in Orthodontics and an Orthodontic Certificate from St. Louis University, a Hospital Dentistry Certificate from Ohio State University, a DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a BS from Wofford College. He has a full team of qualified Charleston orthodontic specialists that share his passions to bring smiles all throughout the Lowcountry.
Lisa is our Patient Coordinator and marketing director. She has over 20 years of experience in orthodontics. Originally from Alabama, Lisa relocated from Charlotte, NC to the Lowcountry to be near the beach. She enjoys spending time kayaking, watching football, and spending time with family, friends, and her Yorkie, Zelda.
Michele is our Treatment Coordinator. She has been working in the orthodontic field for over 32 years. She moved to SC 4 years ago after calling New Jersey her home for all her life. She loves anything to do with the NY Yankees & Giants. Cooking is a passion she has and in her spare time, she loves to spend it with her daughter, Justine, and their two dogs Beckham & Giabella. She also loves to travel, cook, and go on new adventures.
Heather is our financial and insurance coordinator. She will help you select a payment plan that you feel comfortable with as well as work hard with your insurance company so our patients get the most out of their benefits.

This office is TOP NOTCH! Dr. Zetz explains the entire treatment plan and you feel like you are not just another number but that he actually cares and is invested in the success and health of your children. The staff is super friendly and warm and accommodating. I could not be happier choosing this office for my 3 children.

Dr. Zetz is fantastic at what he does, great with moving the teeth and really looks at every factor involved within the mouth, teeth, bite, alignment, and jaw. The office and staff are amazing, you feel like family when you walk through their doors. They really care about your treatment and I would recommend this office to anyone looking to correct their smile or bite.

For those of us older and wiser now than when we did orthodintics as teenagers, this second-time-around with later-in-life orthodontics is an opportunity to preserve the beautiful, youthful smile that adds confidence to every part of life. I highly recommend Crescent Moon Orthodontics. Dr. Zetz and his staff are knowledgeable in addition to being very friendly. There office is beautiful and welcoming. My daughter has braces, for the second time, and we are seeing great results in a short period of time. I just recently started treatment with Invisalign and couldn't be happier.

The office staff was warm and friendly. I feel they went above and beyond trying to make our 9 year old son feel comfortable. The orthodontist took his time explaining the treatment plan and I did not feel like he was in a rush to get to the next patient. Wonderful experience. :)

The staff there has always been friendly. Just recently had an appointment first time since the stay-at-home order has been lifted for COVID-19 and they have implemented protective measures but still remained friendly as ever. They always keep emphasizing that their goal is perfection.

Crescent Moon went out of their way to deliver the retainers to my daughter prior to her return to college. Not only are the retainers the best quality, the office staff were so gracious to my daughter and myself. They took the extra steps to make sure that we were satisfied which was not necessary, but very appreciated. I would highly recommend this practice as they have proven to me that they care about their patients. Thank you for everything!
