Crescent Family Dental opened in Wheeling, IL, when Dr. Deeptha Surampudi acquired the practice of Dr. Mark Butler.Dr. Surampudi remains dedicated to delivering the same quality, family-oriented dental care that Dr. Butlers patients have grown to expect from their family dentist.
Dr. Surampudi holds a dual degree. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University, The University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni school of Dentistry, San Francisco, California and BDS degree from India. Dr. Surampudis passion is to keep herself abreast with latest technologies in dentistry. She completed a Fellowship in Implant dentistry and she is a member of International Dental Implant Association.
Additionally, Dr. Surampudi is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and participates in Orthodontic Continuing Education with United States Dental Institute.
Whenever Dr. Surampudi isnt taking care of her patients or expanding her dental expertise, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Dr. Surampudi lives in the neighboring suburb and is excited to be practicing in an area she calls home.

I just had my frontal crown fixing procedure done a day ago and I couldn't help but leave a 5 star review here. Dr. Farooq (who replaced Dr.Sura) is an awesome dentist and probably one of the best in Illinois. She is very compassionate and explains the options in detail. She did a wonderful job in giving me the results I wanted. I am someone who pays close attention to the details and she completely made me satisfied with the work. Also, she is backed up with an amazing team who is always helpful throughout the process. I'd only consider CRESCENT for any future dental procedures and will definitely recommend for anyone who need a dental visit.

Dr. Deeptha explains the problem and the solution in such a way that we get full confident on the treatment and of course, the treatment is always flawless. Her team also very kind in treating the patients.

I had to get done a deep cleaning, I barely had half done but it was less scarier than I thought and she was fast. I can't wait to recover to put another review. So far good.

What a wonderful dentist! She is the third dentist my family has tried since moving to the Chicago area and we finally found a great dentist. On our initial appointment she took time to explain her assessment to each of us individually, including our teenage daughter. While other dentists have immediately tried to work us up for expensive procedures (e.g., crowns) when some of our fillings were showing a little age, Dr. Surampudi (although she apparently goes by "Dr. Sura" with many of her patients) gave us a range of options, most of which were not nearly as drastic as what the other two dentists we've seen had recommended. Her explanations will go as deep as you like, reflecting a high level of skill and understanding. We felt as if we were respected patients for whom she wanted to give the best care and not just dollar signs walking in the door to be exploited for as much as possible. We highly recommend Dr. Sura!!

Update: Had my root canal treatment and crown placement here.Dr Deeptha Surampudi was very attentive and took great care during the procedure. My Son completed their routine visit to Crescent in the COVID-19 pandemic and I could not be more impressed about their safety protocols. I have always been pleased with the dental care my children receive at Crescent, but the new procedures and protections that they have in place are WAY above & beyond. I have total confidence in the care and safety provided by the entire staff at Crescent.We love this clinic! Dr. Surampudi is a great doctor who is experienced, dedicated and knowledgeable!!

Everyone in this office is so kind, right down to the doctor. She is gentle, explains everything in advance and affordable! I was so worried about finding a new dentist but I was pleasantly surprised!

We had an extraction done for my in-laws at Crescent Family Dental. Dr. Surampudi did an excellent job in analyzing the problem and explaining the options and providing the timely treatment. I would highly recommend Crescent Family Dental for anyone who is looking for dental services.
