I wanted to be a family dentist so I could treat the entire family. I feel that patients appreciate having a one-stop shop for themselves and their families. I enjoy working with all ages and all procedures. I enjoy having a lot of variety throughout my day and talking with patients about their overall oral health needs.
I love seeing patients smile when they see a change for the better in their smile. It also makes my day when patients say they were fearful about seeing a dentist but they didnt feel a thing and their visit was pain-free. We practice gentle dentistry, focusing on making the patient as comfortable as possible at every visit. I want you to feel like a VIP at Crescent City Smiles, with VIP amenities.
On a personal note, Dr. Rivet loves Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest, cooking and travel, especially to the beach. She has three children who occupy most of her free time, and she volunteers as much as she can at their school, where many of her patients work and attend.

Despite that, I'm very scared of going. I always have a great result after my visits. This is one of the best Dentistry to go to. I love everyone in the office.

I'm not quite sure if this place is Black/interracial friendly. Most of the workers were great and the dentist was very nice and respectful. However, when the dental technician (Long?) was done cleaning my mouth, I asked for a sink or cup to spit, and she asked me to swallow my spit. This really hurt my feelings. And I don't think she would have said that to a white woman. I still used the sink despite her rude comment. Don't ask your clients to swallow their spit after a cleaning that's disgusting and inhumane. I'm following up to see what will be done about this and I'll update my review.

Just signed up for Invisalign. I have a special case, as I started an alternative clear aligner system and just needed to finish a few months worth to get to the finish line. The doctor and assistant were excellent. They totally got it. Very knowledgeable, patient, thorough, professional, friendly, and made me feel very confident in their ability to provide what I'm looking for. I can see why they have such stellar reviews. (I will update this review as my treatment continues...)

This dentist overcharges on every visit and supposedly gives specific, in depth cleanings that really are NO different than regular cleanings only to charge a higher rate. My dental plan allows two annual cleanings at no cost to me...not at this dentist! There seems to always be some justification as to why l have additional costs. Stay away unless you have sizeable money to donate. Their costs are not justifiable; however, they go to great lengths to attempt to explain the billing, sounding more like used car salesmen than an honest dialogue with the truth THAT THEY CONTINUALLY OVERBILL FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED.

This was my first visit and the office is very clean and nice. And don't get me started on the staff.....they are SO NICE!!! They're very welcoming and professional and they make you feel at ease. I would DEFINITELY recommend this clinic and doctor....she gets five stars from me! She will definitely be my new dentist :-)
