Dr. Cyrous Ardalan grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. He then moved to Boston, where he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his DMD degree in 2007. After dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2008.
Dr. Ardalan then moved to New Orleans and was a National Health Service Corps Loan Recipient and spent most of his early dental career treating patients while serving as a Dental Director of a federally qualified health center. He continued to practice dentistry in New Orleans, as well as teaching part-time at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He then completed an Endodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University while serving as Chief Resident.
During residency, Dr. Ardalan was selected to participate in a mission trip to Jamaica on behalf of the Foundation for Endodontics. He spent a week in rural Jamaica performing root canal therapy and teaching students, with a mission to save natural teeth of a population that would normally have teeth extracted. He also successfully defended his thesis and obtained a Masters in Science in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University.
He opened Crescent City Endodontics in 2018. Dr. Ardalan is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. He also teaches part-time at LSU School of Dentistry as a clinical instructor of endodontics. He frequently takes continuing education courses to remain current with his specialty. Dr. Ardalan recently completed his board certification and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Ardalan lives in New Orleans with his wife Layla, an artist whose work is on display in the office, and three wonderful children. He enjoys traveling, playing the guitar, and spending quality time with his family.

Dentist & staff were very friendly, courteous & professional. I was informed as to what was happening at every step of the procedure. Dentist showed concern for how I was feeling along the way & continued to ask how I was.

I came as an emergency patient and the staff was so sweet and so caring. At first no appointments were available and the Dr was out of town but he reached out to me and made sure I was fit in immediately. The process was painless. I was contacted a few times after my procedure to make sure I was healing well and not experiencing any pain. That level of care is unmatched in this area. I couldn't be happier with my overall care and experience.

Dr. Ardalan is amazing at what he does. I was really nervous with it being my first root canal but was instantly put at ease. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and made me feel really comfortable. Dr. Ardalan was great at communicating with me during the whole process and constantly asking to make sure I was doing ok. You can tell he's very passionate at what he does and cares about his patients. They even reached out the next day to see how was I doing. The procedure went so smoothly and I didn't feel a thing. Even a few hours after the numbing went away I wasn't in any major pain. Forgot to mention that everything was so clean and tidy too. Overall just a great experience!

I've had several root canals over the years but the root canal I had at this facility was by far the most pleasant one I've ever had. I experienced no pain during the procedure and less pain afterwards. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs a root canal.

I was happy with my treatment. A little pain in the afternoon and evening, but very little pain the next day. The doctor called to check on me the next day which I appreciated. Very nice Doctor and staff.

I am absolutely amazed at the wonderful experience I had yesterday for my first root canal. I only went in for an evaluation, but fortunately they had an opening that morning and by 12:30 I was going home having undergone my first root canal. I have had no pain whatsoever and the entire experience was not the horror I have heard all my life. Dr. Ardalan and his staff are wonderful and I would highly recommend them for any endodontics procedure. Dr. Ardalan even messaged me the next day to check in on how I was doing. I'm so grateful for his expertise and pleasant demeanor.

Fantastic! I was referred to crescent city endodontics by my primary dentist. Although it took me a bit to get in to see them, by the time I was taken in I was given the best of care! I came in for a root canal. I never once felt them working on my tooth, (I actually took a little snooze). The staff was very professional and Dr. Ardalan was fantastic! He explained everything about the procedure, what he intended to do, and how to get through it all. I was instantly put at ease. The procedure did not take long and I was in no more pain. Great work!! Dr. Ardalan even texted me the next day to see how I was doing. What a great touch. If you get referred or need a root canal, I can not recommend this place enough. (P.S. call your network before setting up an appointment, chances are you will need to get an out of network referral for procedures.)
