After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Dentistry, Dr. Dorsch earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Iowa, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dorsch is a published author and has lectured on various orthodontic topics, and has spent countless hours teaching as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Dentistry in the Department of Craniofacial Orthopedics. Over the years, Dr. Dorsch has volunteered his time giving back to the community through organizations such as Smiles Change Lives and the Gladstone Health Fair.

While the orthodontic treatments we offer are critical to that goal, we also recognize that a dedicated team of motivated, personable, and kind-hearted people is vitally important to our overall patient experience. We know that our office is nothing without its people and we're extremely proud of every member of our team.
Vicki is the Office Manager for our office. She began working in the office in 1989 and has found thatworking with such a great group of people that is committed to excellence is a joy. She has also found that helping great people makes each and every day special! Aside from work, Vicki loves spending time with her husband and other family members and friends. She enjoys life and all it brings!
Jennifer has been with us since January of 2014 and has enjoyed meeting all the new people and learning more about orthodontics. She obtained her education from KU. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys being with her husband and two boys and is a big fan of manicures and pedicures.
Tami CDA/Orthodontic Expanded Functions Assistant Tami has been with the practice for the last 20 years. She obtained her education at Penn Valley and OTC where she became certified as an Expanded Functions Orthodontic Assistant as well as Missouri Basic Skills Dental Assisting. When she is not at the office, Tami enjoys spending her time either fishing or cooking. Tami has really enjoyed her time here and loves to see the smiles patients have when their braces come off.
Neda has been a part of the office since 1987. Of course, she started at our office as a patient at seven years old. She has first-hand experience with the process of orthodontic treatment as she has had all of the phases of orthodontia including a headgear! In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, two daughters and her two sons. Her favorite part of working at Creekwood Orthodontics is being part of her work family and knowing how having your smile transformed can really be life changing.
Cayla has been with our team since May of 2016. She was born and raised in Missouri. She loves building people up and by improving their teeth and she can do just that! Cayla got married September of 2018. She loves spending time with her husband, Hayden and her fur-babiesRiff and Journey. She loves remodeling and decorating her home. She absolutely loves her new Creekwood Orthodontics family and how helpful they are. Cayla is always happy to meet new patients!
Tiffany joined us in September of 2016. She studied at North Central Missouri College. She lives in the country near the small town of Braymer. Tiffany married her husband Joe in 2002. They are extremely proud parents to their son, Hayden and their daughter, Hayley. Tiffany loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends. At work she enjoys the friendly company of coworkers and patients.
Lindsey joined our orthodontic team in October 2019. She enjoys creating beautiful smiles and watching them evolve. In her spare time she loves spending time with her three children. They enjoy baking and cooking delicious goodies together. During the summer, you can find them at the lake fishing and taking the kids tubing. She is excited to be a part of our office and the wonderful staff she has the pleasure of working with creating beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime.
Tiffany joined our group in March of 2021. Shewas raisedin Lawson and still livesthere with her family. Tiffany has been married to her husband, Andrew, since 2014. She has two amazing boys, Collin and Colt. She loves spending time watching her oldest play football and baseball. She also loves spending time outside playingwith her youngest. Tiffany is excited to start her new journey with Creekwood Orthodontics.
Tierrah joined our team as an orthodontics assistant and is 20 years old. She is really enjoying her position at Creekwood Orthodontics and learning from Dr. Dorsch and her co-workers. She appreciates how helpful and experienced everyone is. She says, 'that her co-workers and her patients are the sweetest and fun to work with!' Tierrah loves speaking with the patients; it always makes her smile. When she is at the office she is at school working towards her bachelors degree in business administration. During the rare occasion, there is free time she loves to spend time with family and friends, cook, shop, and being in nature.
Tatum joined our team in the spring of 2022. After high school, she moved Las Vegas to attend Dental Assisting school. She loved her experience and enjoyed every moment before deciding to move back to Missouri to spend more time with her family and friends. She has worked in dental and is excited for her new journey learning orthodontics. In her free time, she enjoys reading and hanging out with her loved ones.

We love Dr Dorsch! I had 2 kids with braces at the same time and they made sure to schedule them the same times and worked well with my schedule. All the assistants were wonderful as well. Highly recommend!

I've avoided writing this review for a couple years now, but it still has me upset to this day. I went to Dr. Dorsch for braces, as my little sister was going to him and my mom enjoyed it. Well despite however much I suggested, near-begged, for braces, he succeeded in convincing me to get the Invisalign. I assumed the Invisalign was cheaper for him to do, and easier considering he doesn't make the trays, and I was never good at being assertive about what I wanted, always making everyone else's life easier. So we proceeded, just as expensive as braces. After 2 sets, one revision, and my teeth still aren't straight. You can see it in my retainers that they aren't straight. After the first set, he said it was because my teeth couldn't do what I wanted them to do,(one of my front teeth sticks out) but little did he know, I had braces as a teen and they were perfectly straight before I accidentally lost my retainer. After the revision set, he proceeded to blame me for not wearing my sets like I was supposed to (which was not true at all). After that, I got so fed up and knew I wouldn't be able to get what I paid for and cut my losses. Their digital retainer scanning thing sent me home with a crooked retainer after the first set, and I voiced this. So he sent me home with the flimsy, last step tray sans the teeth attachments. My tooth still sticks out, and there's a huge gap in between two of my teeth that food always gets stuck in and makes it extremely uncomfortable. I never went back. 6k down the drain. And having to save another 6k for braces now. His staff was amazing and he was nice enough when he wasn't being condescending, but stick to your gut on what you want, and I would choose braces every time! There'sa five star review floating around somewhere because they give out gift cards for it during the process but obviously things shifted.

I was born with Pierre Robin Syndrome, which really messed up my lower jaw. My teeth were all in some odd places and they were not straight at all. My Mom finally decided to get me braces. In the beginning it wasn't the best, it was pretty painful and uncomfortable, but if you let them know you are in pain then they recommend ways that you could get rid of that pain. I'm glad my Mom chose Dorsch, because he was able to handle my problems and work them out. Now, after a couple surgeries to fix my jaw placement, I am very happy with the way my teeth worked out. I would recommend Dorsch for anyone needing braces.

I absolutely love going in for my orthodontist visit. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Dorsch always makes me laugh. I did extensive research on a good orthodontist for the Kansas City Area. I have had braces 5 times and wanted someone who could truly make me happy with my smile! If you google search for top Orthodontists in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Dorsch comes up on a google search as Expert recommended Top 3 Orthodontists in the Kansas City, Missouri. I did research on him and he has been doing it since 1983! He has a doctrine in oral surgery, and Masters in Orthodontics! He was even a Professor at the University of Missouri, KC, School of Dentistry in the Department of Craniofacial Orthopedics To me that alone stood out and why I selected him! He runs 3 clinics and I can truly see his passion. I have had braces 5 times and wanted someone who owned their own clinic, wasn't just into the business for the money and was very knowledgeable and caring. He has all these traits and more! My exam consultation was of no charge, and I had no insurance. At this visit they take a CT scan, a 3D imagery X-ray, that he prints out. This is used instead of impression trays. I work in dentistry and have had braces so many times to know impression trays are not fun to make or get done on yourself. At the consultation they make an entire personal folder with imagery scan and pictures of the day of the consultation, your goals and pricing plan, and he then gives you this to take home. I did an extensive review, but it's because I have looked for so long and have had braces five times now, and with his amount of positive reviews he has ,the years of experience he has been doing this for, the education background he has, and even google search he comes up first thing, I was completely set on him as my top choice. He makes me smile every visit and he is very caring! The entire staff is very friendly and caring!

I've had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Dorsch's office! I was never comfortable with my smile until now! I'm so happy that I chose to do invisalign and Dr. Dorsch made it an easy process!

The staff is very friendly and professional. I love that my son earns points and can purchase gift cards with them for taking care of his braces. This helps him with responsibility. This is my 2nd child going through braces at this location. I highly recommend.

Dr. Dorsch and team have been amazing. The staff are very helpful and professional, and Dr. Dorsch has been great to work with. Everything has gone very smoothly. My daughter got her braces on and off in a year with no issues. The office runs like a well-oiled machine. My daughter's teeth look beautiful and I am getting ready for my next daughter to get her teeth done...heck, I may get my teeth done too! Thank you, Dr. Dorsch and team!

Dr. Dorsh is an amazing kind and gentle doctor. All the staff is great to work with and very friendly. They genuinely care about the patient. Would definitely recommend anyone who is considering braces to use Dr. Dorsh. You cannot go wrong.

Where do I start. Was told 1 year with Invisalign turned out way longer. Did ipr on my top teeth earlier than Invisalign plan which led to doing again and creating a gap that would not go away. Needless to say, only wanted Invisalign to fix said gap. Questionable ipr on bottom teeth not even in the plan and were cut cricked at best. Was told I'd get a bonded retainer then told me he wouldn't do it. I wasn't happy with end result as I still had a slight gap but he stopped my treatment anyways. I may have been a fluke but I want it to be known that some of his decisions are very questionable at best and his office basically gives kickbacks for good reviews through a point system. Truly horrible experience for 4k.
