Dr. Haag is continually researching to find the latest and greatest techniques, technology and materials. We offer an array of natural products and never use silver-filling material or other synthetics that are thought to contain mercury or other harmful chemicals.
Dr. John Haag received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the St. Paul District Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Haag is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and received additional training at the University of Minnesota for Oral and IV Conscious Sedation allowing Creekview Dental to be a Certified Sedation Center. He has attended advanced training for Invisalign Orthodontics and Dental Implants.
Dr. Haag loves the variety of General Dentistry. He enjoys the opportunity to make a difference in peoples lives by helping them smile with confidence. Dr. Haag has a passion for learning new things and regularly attends continuing education seminars, watches webinars and reads multiple dental journals to keep current on the latest techniques and materials in the dental field.
Dr. Haag opened Creekview Dental in Woodbury, MN in 1993. He and his wife, Debbie (our Practice Administrator), have a daughter Bethany (and new son-in-law Abraham) and a son, Brandon. In his free time, Dr. Haag enjoys spending time with his family and participating in water sports, snowboarding, reading and playing the drums with the worship teams at his church.
Molly has been in the dental field since 2003. We are excited to have her on our team assisting Dr. Haag. In her free time she loves riding her motorcycle (weather permitting). She also loves to travel, bake, spend time with family or cozy up with a book!
Debbie, Dr. Haags wife, is the Treatment Coordinator and Practice Administrator for Creekview Dental. She meets with patients to determine their goals and guide them through the treatment process. She received a business management degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA and worked at a computer consulting company for 7 years before their children were born. Debbie enjoys reading, volunteering at her church, photography and driving the ski boat.
Sarah has been at Creekview Dental since 2017 and she has been in dentistry for over 15 years. Our patients love her gentle touch and caring attitude. She and her husband have one daughter and a very large dog!
Kristine joined our team in 2020. She has been in dentistry since 2011. She came to us with extensive experience from a large Oral Surgery practice. She assists Dr Haag and currently works with most of our Invisalign patients. She does a great job answering our patients questions and making them comfortable.

I had an emergency situation (crown popped off) and was recommended John by a family friend. He was the most kind and knowledgeable dentist I have ever seen and I could not recommend him enough! If I lived in the area I would switch to him in a heartbeat!

I can't recommend Creekview Dental highly enough!!!!! I have a pretty complicated dental situation and Dr. Haag took on the challenge! He built me a phased plan that addressed all the issues and then flawlessly worked through each part with me. The result is that I have a functional bite (my back teeth actually meet!) for the first time in my life. Can't tell you what a difference this is making for me. AND, the rest of the team are consummate professionals. Everyone, from the front office to the assistants during my appointments, worked hard to make this process as comfortable and manageable for me personally as possible. If you are looking for dental help, give Dr. Haag and the Creekview Dental team a try. You'll be glad you did!

I was super scared to go the dentist. Shaking really bad. Debbie and Sara helped me calm down.I haven't been to the dentist in 30 years. I can't stand the smell or sounds of the dentist office . When you walk in, you don't smell or hear bad things. They are so welcoming! The waiting room is very calming. Nothing reminding you of teeth.Dr. Hagg is gentle and sweet, like his staff.

First things first I have pretty severe dental anxiety. This is the first dentist where I have felt kind of comfortable in the chair. I reached out initially over the weekend through the website and requested a text back. First thing Monday morning I get a response. I wanted to be sedated for my root canal, but due to time constraints on my end I couldn't wait for the full 4 hour appointment slot they had available. Debbie, however, was able to squeeze me in for a shorter appointment, not sedated, at my request. Janis was able to give me a pre estimate cost days before the procedure so I had time to prepare for the expense, and they accepted care credit for payment. I informed them of my dental anxiety, and before I even got there we had a conversation over the phone discussing ways to make me feel more safe and comfortable. I've never had a dentist office take my anxiety this seriously, and I couldn't appreciate it more. The dental team was also very understanding and kind, to the point that she (the hygienist or assistant I forgot her name) wiped my tears when I couldn't. She also kept talking to me when I was starting to panic to distract me, and it helped so much! They kept checking in with me during the procedure, and at one point when I felt a sensitivity in the tooth they were working on they immediately stopped, gave me a different anesthetic, and made sure I was comfortable before continuing. Overall, I hated going but since I had to I'm glad it was with them and would absolutely return to this amazing team.

Creekview is , from first encounter, that wonderful combination of professional and personal. The potentially painful procedure I was scheduled for was performed so skillfully that I had no pain - during or after. Explanations of the need for the procedure, the details of the procedure and the care needed after the procedure were thorough but nut overwhelming. And the follow phone call later that evening was a complete - and welcome - surprise. Thank you Dr Haag and team.

I had to have my 2 front teeth rebuilt along with other work needed. I didn't feel like I was being shamed for the way my front teeth looked, made my feel comfortable and relaxed. Did a awesome job. I am VERY HAPPY with the results. I can truly smile again without worrying about it. Thank you

I received excellent care at Creekview Dental. Dr Haag excels in his patient centered dental practice. All the staff were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I had 3 crowns put on in one day and it was a breeze thanks to the great care I received!! I had my teeth cleaned in a separate appointment and that was a great experience too! Before I came here, I did not like going to the dentist. I highly recommend Creekview Dental!

I had an excellent experience at Creekview Dental! Debbie did a fabulous job walking me through the whole appointment, as well as educating me on dental care in a way I had never heard before. Molly and Sarah were extremely personable, excellent with communicating and instructing, professional, and very gentle. Dr. Haag, who is experienced and passionate, explained everything so well and uses some pretty amazing technology. Their entire staff made me feel welcomed and cared for in a very unique way. I wish I could give Dr. Haag and his team of exceptional professionals more than five stars. I believe the care and services they offer to be the finest available. I've had a significant amount of work done at Creekview in recent months, including crowns, fillings and implants, and I cannot imagine better quality or more state-of-the-art care anywhere. Also, I am an older woman with some lifelong irrational insecurities about my teeth. As you might guess, this has lead to procrastination. Dr. Haag and the Creekview staff are not just the best at what they do, they are supportive, conversational, caring people who want to help, not judge. If you're looking for great dental care in a calm and pleasant environment, I urge you to contact Creekview Dental. You'll be so very happy you did. I know I am!

I am THRILLED to be able to write a positive review for Creekview Dental--Dr. Haag and the Creekview Dental Staff are truly amazing! My previous dental work experiences were awful, which left me dreading and avoiding the dentist. Every person I have dealt with at Creekview Dental has been compassionate and understanding about my dental fears. I feel like they take the time to listen to my concerns and then do whatever they can to put me at ease-- whether that be headphones, nitrous for cleanings, or sedation. Sedation dentistry has changed my life when it comes to my teeth--and Dr. Haag is an expert. Now, I can take care of my dental work and sleep right through it. I do not see, hear, feel or remember anything that happens during my appt. Afterwards, I go home, take a nap, and wake up refreshed. Every aspect of Creekview Dental is a superior experience. The office is clean/COVID precautions, their business processes are organized, and the administrative staff is cheerful, knowledgeable, and transparent about pricing. I highly recommend Creekview Dental!

Super clear, professional, courteous, patient, and kind. Took the time to make an apprehensive/anxious person like me feel comfortable. The conscious sedation dentistry was a great strategy for me, and I really got a good rest that day (a welcome break!). I will definitely be back, but hopefully not with the same problem. :-)

Dr. John Haag is a professional in his industry! I needed for my wife Alena to straighten her teeth and for that we have seen so many clinics but most of the doctors told as that without surgery and a lot of time we wont get helped and a lot of money to pay... When we found Creekview Dental in Woodberry MN and met Dr Haag he provided with all help and without surgery he helped us! My wife so happy so as I! Thank you!

The best dentist office I've ever been to. Friendly staff and caring people. The dr has even called me in the evening after having major work done to make sure I'm ok. I love that they know me by name and treat you kind unlike some places I've been. Highly recommend especially if you have had traumatic experiences in the past. My mom hated dentists, she even starting going there
