DoctorMatthew Willis came to dentistry a little later than some of his peers. Having earned his masters degree in electrical engineering, he worked successfully as an electrical circuit designer for several years. Eventually, he realized that he wanted a profession that would allow him to serve and interact with people directly while still feeding his detail-oriented personality and interest in science and engineering. Leaving his engineering career and attending dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill required sacrifice for Dr. Willis, his wife, and their four children, but it was worth it.
Now, Dr. Willis gains great satisfaction from helping prevent dental disease and relieving pain while providing comfortable and positive experiences for his patients. He knows with a replaced tooth, a beautifully matched crown, or a perfectly shaped filling, a dentist can make a huge difference in a persons smile, so he strives for cosmetic excellence as he practices dentistry.Dr. Willis is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
What Dr. Willis enjoys most about being a general dentist is the opportunity to help people with all aspects of their oral health, especially as we know more now about how oral health affects general health.
We are located in Creedmoor at 110 West Church Street in Granville County, not far from North Raleigh and Durham. We serve the dental needs of patients from many areas, including Oxford, Henderson, Roxboro, Butner, and Wake Forest in Granville County North Carolina.

I would like to tell you about a wonderful dentist, Dr. Matt Willis. I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and needed a lot of work. I was nervous about being at the dentist but was quickly put at ease by Dr. Willis. We discussed the work that needed to be done and came up with a treatment plan. Over the next several weeks, I had the work done. Dr. Willis went above and beyond to make sure that I was well taken care of. He is thorough and he makes sure his patients are as comfortable as possible. I absolutely love Dr Willis and his staff. I commute a very long way in order to get the best dental care. Each and every part of the whole experience was very positive. Casey is amazing at getting you scheduled in a timely manner and Miranda is a delightful dental assistant. They should be an example for everybody in the healthcare industry.

Most importantly: the Dentist cares about the patients, their well-being, is actually personable and interesting, (downright jovial) and get this: really asks about your pain level and adjusts to make your personal pain taken into consideration?! I can't remember the last time that has happened. Add to this: the rest of the staff are also capable, interested, friendly, helpful (I sound like I'm reciting the Boy Scouts motto..., but they actually are) from the assistant, the hygienist, to the front office. Altogether a pleasant experience.

From beginning to end everything was smooth fax documents for intake to me when I got there pay co-pay dental assistant explain what they would be doing for my broke crown and tooth removal the entire staff were very friendly and helpful I will be going back

This office is the absolute BEST!!! The entire staff is courteous and professional...and Dr. Willis is second to none when it comes to making sure his patients are comfortable and at ease. I recommend them 1000% :)!

I had a crack in a tooth that was not painful at all, but I noticed because it felt rough with my tongue. So, I checked the reviews for Dr. Willis and went in. I've had some bad dental experiences before, when I was stationed overseas, so I was nervous. I told myself it would be a better experience, because I was actually in America, with someone good enough to practice privately. I was wrong. It was much worse. While I'd had bad experiences, I'd never had a dentist's work leave me in excruciating pain. even after multiple adjustments, for 8+ months. I severely regret visiting Dr. Willis. 30 minutes before my last scheduled appointment, the receptionist called to say he would not be seeing me and that I needed to see a specialist instead of him because I probably need a root canal. I was reassured, however, that I was not the only patient experiencing this exact same problem. This, combined with the fact that the lab made my crowns incorrectly the first time and the assistant kept just trying to shove them on (despite the fact that I was communicating that I was in pain) until I told her she needed to go get the dentist, to me, is further evidence that the damage was due to rough treatment and not just "for some unknown reason". They also left a lot of excess cement between my teeth, once the correct crowns were finally placed, which is aggravating my gums. Overall, I feel I would be better off having never received treatment, as I would not have had so much suffering -- and, to add insult to injury, I feel like I threw a few grand down the drain in exchange for the hardship.

Dr. Willis and his staff are all wonderful people! Everyone is very friendly and professional. They don't over book and are very cognizant of of their patient's time. I haven nothing but praise for all of them and highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

I have not went to the dentist like I should have over the years. The folks at this office are great! Very nice, great sense of humor and talkative and very approachable! The really made me feel comfortable and at ease while poking around in my mouth! I am no longer nervous about going to the dentist. Love going here!

I dont know why because today I went to this dentist and his team as well as himself are AMAZING! I terrified of needles as most, but the procedure was super nice and pain free . I was out of there in less than a hour felt like with the tooth that was causing me so much pain removed . Super satisfied with my today. Fears of the dentist are gone, pain in my mouth gone!
