Dr. Montes graduated in 1985 from University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) and was #1 in his class for clinical excellence and received several awards from the school. He was a Dental Technician for four years before entering dental school. Dr. Montes is known for a stickler for detail. Because of this, many of his patients are other dentists, dental technicians, and instructors, who recognize his expertise and skills. Dr. Montes has appeared on several TV spots and on radio shows. He also has taught at UCSF & USC dental schools in pre-clinical and clinical departments. He has taught at Pasadena City College in the dental hygiene department, and at the East Los Angeles Occupation Center for the dental assistant program. Dr. Montes specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry with an emphasis on individual unique smile designs. He loves dentistry and is constantly taking continuing education courses to keep up with the new advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Montes works with his wife Dr. Teresa Romero who graduated together from UCSF. Plus Dr. Montes has a Periodontist specialist who teaches at UCLA to place implants, and he also has an Endodontist in the office so you do not have to go elsewhere to get Root Canals done.

I was referred to Dr. Montes and Dr. Romero's office by one of my best friends, after experiencing horrible customer service at Western dental. These doctors are absolute angels. I had a cavity filled yesterday by Dr. Montes and he has the most gentle touch. I am extremely grateful that I found this office. Five star recommendation most definitely! Best dentist office in Los Angeles! Love these people!

BEST DENTIST EVER! Dr Montes listens and takes the concerns of his patients seriously. He is an absolute master of his profession. He always goes above and beyond to get the best results (medically, functionally and cosmetically) for his patients. He is so good that I would call him a dental artist. He's also a very kind, interesting man with a great sense of humor. His team is also absolutely outstanding! They are all very attentive, friendly and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the patient. For the first time in my life I look forward to going to my dentist .

I did 3 hours researching dentists in my network, checking reviews on Yelp and Google. Based on overall reviews, I selected Montes & Romero. I just had my first visit with Dr. Romero. The front desk lady was so helpful on the phone. Then, i entered the office, which is very clean & nicely decorated. Again, the front desk lady (ive forgotten her name) greeted me warmly. By the time i completed filling out the paperwork, i was called back so hardly any wait time. The dentist assistant, (Ana ?) was very efficient and friendly while taking the xrays. And then Dr Romero came in. She was very warm and kind, all the while working on my teeth. I was very at ease and relaxed. She carefully explained what needed to be done now, and what I can wait on. I felt no pressure to spend money I didnt have today. All in all, I can safely say I just had the best dental experience in a very long time. - A. McCaffrey

Dr. Montes is the best dentist I have ever seen! Not only has he taken care of me but I sent my dad there and my mom and when my mom had Cancer and couldn't come in Dr. Montes went above and beyond to make house calls and arrange friends to help take care of her dental health AND even came to my wedding! He is a joy and EVERY SINGLE WOMAN I have talked to in that office is a damn dream. I wish I worked there.

Dr. Montes is a Great Dentistry and tutor. I am currently in my 5th year of Dentistry here in Ecuador and I had the opportunity to work and learn from Dr. Montes and Dr. Teresa this summer. I learned a lot of incredible things in their clinic because they do the best dental work for their patients, the staff is super welcoming and friendly and most importantly they all made me feel like family. I highly recommend Creative Touch Dental and Im grateful with Dr. Montes and Dr. Teresa for giving me this opportunity, it was such a great experience.

Last year, I visited the office of Drs.. M ontes and Romero in extreme pain. My condition turned out to be a neurological, oral pain issue, not a dental issue. But Drs. Montes and Romero did NOT stop until they made sure they uncovered every angle to eliminate possibilities and then, referred me to a doctor that could help me. Since the pain was so bad, I couldn't talk; their staff stepped in and also went above and beyond to schedule appointments and answer the questions from the other specialists to which the Drs. referred me.. A year later, I am pretty much pain free, thanks to the diligence of Drs. Montes and Romero and their staff. Will be forever grateful.

This guy and his staff are amazing! I wish I had more problems with my teeth just so I can hang out with them and listen to music and stare a cool pictures on the ceiling while they're working on my grill!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Montes and Dr. Romero for many years. They both are the most caring, passionate, honest, down-to-earth and dedicated people in dentistry. They are the Dental Dream Team! Not to mention, they will go above and beyond the call of duty to help clients. Years ago, I was in a freak diving accident. I chipped one of my front teeth on the bottom of the pool. In a panic, I called Dr. Montes and Dr. Romero and went straight to the office. Luckily I was able to recover the broken piece and they were able to reattach, repair and SAVE my tooth. Fast forward 11 years later... in another "freak accident" at a restaurant with my family, the chip gave out and broke off again. Completely embarrassed and frantic, I called Dr. Montes. Long story short, he once again was able to reattach, repair and save the day. Then and now, my tooth looks as if the chip never even happened! Especially being one of my front teeth; you absolutely cannot even tell I had any damage. Thanks to Dr. Montes' meticulous eye and perfectionism. I am forever grateful to have them as my dentists and you will too!
