I was born and raised just down the road in Ortonville, Michigan. I knew at a pretty young age that I wanted to be a dentist. After graduating from Brandon High School, I received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Philosophy from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1998. I continued on at UDMs school of Dentistry and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002.
There are so many fascinating things going on in dentistry and I have an insatiable desire for learning. I spend many hours taking courses and reading about the latest techniques and advances in dentistry, and about what is going on in the field around the world. I am truly passionate about dentistry! I feel so fortunate to have found this career, and my hope is that my patients benefit from my passion.
Being very active in the community of dentistry is a priority for me. Im a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, I serve on the Michigan Dental Associations Forensic Identification Team and the Michigan Mortuary Response team. I am a clinical instructor for Dental Development Seminars, teaching extraction techniques to general dentists. I have participated in several medical missions in developing nations. Ive also had a little professional fun making movie teeth for local filmmakers.
My husband is a Civil Engineer and we have one daughter and 2 dogs that we adopted from local rescues. Travel is our first love, but we enjoy many family interests hiking, camping, canoeing, visiting museums and the theatre. Personally, I also enjoy reading very much, and over the years I have enjoyed many books that patients have shared with me. Animals have long held a special place in my life, and I serve as a board member of the Elephant Research Foundation. Much of my free time is also filled with my work as a davidji certified Master of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher.

We recently switched to Creative Smiles in Holly from a different dentist. We are extremely happy we did and really wish we would've sooner. Dr. Kulongiwski is very welcoming and easy to talk to. She explains everything so well and is great with my kids as well. The whole staff is always so smiley and kind and they most importantly are great with our teeth.

I take both my kids here and they do a great job. Usually are seen at their appt time, so we usually don't wait long in waiting room. Cleanings are done in a decent time frame. Both my kids feel very comfortable there. I don't go back with them, however the dentist does come out after and talks to me about everything. Everyone is very kind and they all seem to enjoy working there. I also like the reminder text I get for their upcoming appts. Definitely recommend checking them out!

My partner and I have been going to creative smiles for over a year now and it's always a positive experience! All of the staff are so friendly and kind. I have had the same hygienist each time I've gone and she always remembers me. I love coming in every 6 months, it's like catching up with old friends every time. I never though I'd actually like going to the dentist but now I look forward to it!

Dr. Kulongowski is cheerful, engaging and gets right to the task at hand and her staff follows suit. I've been going to Creative Smiles for years and though it's quite a drive for me I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been a patient at creative smiles for many years. I continue to go here despite now living 40 minutes away because Dr Kulongowski and all of her staff are extremely helpful, efficient and do amazing work. The front desk staff are always sweet and never have a problem getting me an appointment that works with my hectic schedule. My hygienist is extremely thorough, but gentle and I never leave with a sore mouth as I have at other offices. I have had lots of work done by Dr K and have always been extremely happy with the results. I would and have recommended this practice to family members and will continue to do so!

I've been going to this group for most of my adult life. I absolutely love them all! They are extremely friendly and a joy to be around. I have never had any issues with the service or professionalism at this establishment. My children grew up with them and have never complained about having to go in for checkups. It has always been a breeze and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them!

Watch out for the bill!!! Extremely unprofessional in terms of billing. Our insurance covers 100% with regards to cleanings. This information was verified by both myself and their office. So imagine my surprise when I get a $342 bill in the mail with the explanation that, "Well... they said they cover 100% of usual and customary, but what they paid is considerably lower than we expected." Not my problem. Your services are way overpriced! Have fun paying the attorney or collections fees or jump in line cause you won't be getting a penny from me!!!
