Dr. Cooks goal as a dentist is simple he wants to change peoples lives by giving them smiles that raise their self-esteem while ensuring they have healthy mouths. Why Did You Decide To Become a Dentist? As the son of an orthodontist, Dr. Cook knew from an early age that he wanted to have a career that would allow him to make positive changes in peoples lives, and dentistry seemed like the best way to do this. He also liked that dentistry allowed him to form one-on-one relationships with his patients and provide local families with a centralized dental home.
Where Did You Study Dentistry? A Columbus native, Dr. Cook attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and dental degrees, and hes proud to be a true Ohio dentist! Over the years, he has dedicated much of his free time to completing continuing education courses in order to refine and grow his skillset, and he often attends trainings and seminars through his memberships in the following organizations:
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like To Do? When he isnt spending time with his family or relaxing with his cat and dog, Dr. Cook likes to go hiking, snowboarding, rollerblading and wakeboarding. He also frequently attends concerts and music festivals, and on most weekends, youll find him cheering on his beloved Buckeyes and Buffalo Bills.
Marilyn is originally from Clintonville, Ohio, and is a long-term veteran of our practice. She loves the satisfaction that comes from caring from our patients. She ends each day proud of easing fears and showing our patients just how much she cares.
Outside of the office, Marilyn is an avid musician who loves the outdoors. She enjoys wildlife gardening, is an animal rights advocate, and even teaches Middle Eastern and African hand drums! She is happily married to her husband, Doug, and has four daughters and two grandsons.
Dyan has 19 years of experience in dentistry, and she attended Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College. She says the best thing about her job is helping people to feel relaxed and at-ease when theyre in our office. Dyan is certified in radiography, CPR and has even received advanced training in team building. Dyan practices non-judgmental dental approaches with the understanding that every mouth is different and unique.
Originally from Somerset, Nicci has well over a decade of experience in the dental field so far. She loves the great patients shes met, as well as her wonderful work family! She received her education from Columbus State Community College and completed her certification in anesthesia in 2010.
At home, Nicci has three special furbabies named Caydence, Niko and Izzy. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, spending quality time with family, reading and laughing! She has a special talent for making people chuckle and feel better even when they dont want to.
With more than seven years of experience under her belt, Klarida joined our team in 2021. For her, being a dental assistant has many rewarding moments, but her favorite part of the job is giving patients back their healthy, happy smiles! She completed her studies at Ohio Business College and has undergone additional training in CPR and radiography.
Klarida is originally from Albania! She has been married for 12 years and counting and has three beautiful children. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling and cooking.
Lyndsey, originally from Pittsburgh, has been with Creative Smiles since 2014. Not only does she love dentistry and her patients, but she loves working with the best team ever! Lyndsey recently bought a new home with her fianc, Ben, in Grove City. They live there with their son, Luke, who is almost 8, their dog, Jojo, and their kitten, Tank. Hes crazy! Lyndsey has a love for animals and graduated from Bradford with her vet tech degree. Once she found dentistry, she knew this was her real passion. In her spare time, she likes to being with friends and family, tending to her many plants and enjoying yoga classes led by Marilyn.

Nicci always does a fantastic job cleaning and getting me ready for my next check up. Of course the awesome Dr. Cook is always there! Looking forward to my appointment in February; I know that friendly staff will be there to greet me.

Out of all the dentists I've ever been to, no one has ever explained the instruments, their purpose, and their actions before I came here. Similarly, there were exam maneuvers I'd never encountered before. Definitely felt like I not only got a great cleaning (at least years of coffee stains removed), but their care was thorough and informative! Absolutely plan on continuing my dental care with them and highly recommend to others!

Doctor Cook is both professional and personable. He knew what I needed, worked with me to find a time to visit that worked for me, and went out of his way to make sure I got the necessary care, quickly, and at a rate much cheaper than my previous dentist. I would recommend Creative Smiles to everyone with dental needs. It is difficult to find a place that has both the expertise necessary to perform expert care, but also the culture to make you feel comfortable and friendly with your carers.

Dr. Cook and the team at Creative Smiles have been excellent. They are quick to respond, schedule appointments in a timely fashion, and everyone is always very pleasant in the office. From someone who doesn't love going to the dentist, they make it a smooth experience from end-to-end.
