An avid woodworker and glassblower, Dr. John Landreneau has had an affinity for working with his hands since childhood. With a passion for creative pursuits, Dr. Landreneau later combined his artistic interests with a growing aspiration to aid his community. This ultimately led him to pursue dentistry. He went on to attend Louisiana State University, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Having practiced since 1982, Dr. Landreneau has extensive training in comprehensive dentistry as well as full-mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic rejuvenation. In 2001, Dr. Landreneau undertook an additional certification in Dental Laboratory Technology in an effort to provide his patients the most precise ceramics work with the quickest turnaround. With his state-of-the-art facilities, Dr. Landreneau now proudly fabricates beautiful custom porcelain restorations such as veneers, crowns and bridges right on site. Dr. Landreneau stays abreast of swiftly evolving dental technologies with extensive continuing education through the Center for Advanced Dental Education, John Kois Center, and the Spear Education Institute. He is also an active member of these professional organizations.

When hes not defeating plaque or fashioning custom veneers, Dr. Landreneau enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and their daughters, Aimee, Alaina and Sarah. An enthusiastic outdoorsman, this busy father of three somehow still finds the time for a fishing trip or two.

A graduate of Ascension Colleges dental assisting program, Jerrica joined our team in May of 2015. With years of experience in dental hygiene, Jerrica makes any visit to Creative Dental Studio a breeze. Shes fully certified in CPR, Expanded Duty Dental Assisting (EDDA) and Radiography, all of which make her an invaluable asset to our dental family. In addition to her skills with dental floss, Jerrica is also known for her joke-telling ability. With comedic timing like hers, we can always rely on Jerrica to make each and every guest crack a smile. Jerricas highly developed sense of humor likely comes from raising three girls alongside her husband. When theyre not laughing uncontrollably, Jerrica and her outdoorsy family love to hunt, fish, ride horses, and tear it up on four-wheelers. Wherever you find Jerrica, smiles and adventure are sure to follow.

For nearly two decades, Carla has tended to nearly every tooth that walks through the door at Creative Dental Studio. Her scrupulous attention to detail is legendary around here, and no trace of plaque escapes her skilled hands. Carla is highly trained in the finer points of oral healthshe holds credentials from Columbus State University in both dental hygiene and public healthand she stays up to date on all the latest dental developments at the annual New Orleans Dental Conference.When shes not defeating tooth decay at the office, this Ascension native can be found cheering on LSU (Geaux, Tigers!) with her husband of more than twenty years. Shes also a frequent guest on the sidelines of her sons sports games, but Carlas preferred shopping partner is certainly her daughter. Both athleticism and good taste run in the family, and Carla herds them alland usthrough each day with ease.

Im 21 years old and recently got accepted into dental hygiene school in New Orleans which I will be attending in August. Working part-time at Creative Dental Studio has allowed myself to gain experience and become familiar with dentistry. I was raised in Baton Rouge, LA and graduated from St. Josephs Academy in 2011. I am the youngest of 3 older brothers and have a very close knit family. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends and love to travel whenever I have the chance. Im a big fan of shopping, desserts, and reading good books.

Growing up in Ascension parish as the daughter of small-business owners, Jeanne has practiced genuine, caring customer service her entire life. For the last twenty-five years, Jeanne has expertly navigated a variety of aspects around Creative Dental Studio, from financial administration in the front office to occasionally stepping in as a dental assistant. Jeannes years of experience and wisdom are one of our most prized possessions. A mother of three boys and grandmother of two, Jeanne spends her time surrounded by rambunctious boys and their seemingly endless appetites. She gets away from it all with quiet evenings playing the piano or taking in theatre performances of all kinds.

Dr. Landreneau visits with some of the most world renowned ceramists to learn about new materials and techniques so that he may bring these back to his office and use for his patients. Here Dr. Landreneau is visiting with Naoki Aiba in his dental lab for advice on different aspects of the creation porcelain system.

May 1, 2015 Dr. Landreneau spent time with Naoki learning many specific things about this #1 rated porcelain system. Dr. Landreneau trained with Dr. Ed McClaren, one of the leading prosthodontists in America, on the subject of Zirconia, which is a type of Porcelain like material for making crowns. Dr. Landreneau participated in a hands on course with other Ceramists from LSU at the School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Landreneau regularly attends and participates in these hands on courses to maintain and improve his skills in making crowns for patients. He has 20+ years of experience making crowns, bridges, and veneers. His expertise in this area has helped people improve their smiles dramatically. Dr. Landreneau diagnoses, devises treatment plans, prepares and fabricates the final crown/veneer completely in his office. Creative Dental Studio is the only dental office in the Baton Rouge area where the dentist does everything from beginning to end. This provides an advantage to Dr. Landreneau because he has total control over the outcome with fewer variables to possibly introduce flaws in the final restorations. Dr. Landreneau is well respected by other Dentists and Ceramists. He serves as a leader through his profession of dentistry and also as a Ceramist in his respective areas of his practice.
