Dr. Jacqueline James Samuels graduated from the University of Maryland School Of Dentistry in 1997. Upon graduation, she moved back to New York and completed her general practice residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx and a chief residency program at Goldwater Memorial Hospital on Roosevelt Island, with an emphasis on the medically compromised patient. In March 2012, Dr. Samuels completed a two year program in comprehensive orthodontics and received a certificate from Progressive Orthodontics Seminars in California.
Dr. Samuels is currently in private practice and is also a general practice attending at BronxCare Health System Department Of Dentistry. From June 2018-June 2020 she presided as President for the Bronx County Dental Society, and is an active member of American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and an Executive Board Member of the Bronx County Dental Society.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Samuels is running triathlons, advocating wellness, raising money to defeat cancer, mentoring high school and college students and completing community service projects with her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.
