Dr. Gena Pineda graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2000. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Pineda completed a four-year tour in the United States Navy, where she completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Pineda continues to take hundreds of hours of continuing education, specializing in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. She values the importance of staying current with the newest dental techniques and materials. She is an active member of the LD Pankey Institute for Continuing Education. Dr. Pineda is also a clinical instructor for the Aesthetic Excellence Cosmetic Continuem with Dr. Rhys Spoor in Richfield, Ohio.
Dr. Katelyn Genenbacher has been seeing patients for two years and this is her first year with Creating Smiles. She grew up in Quincy, IL, the youngest of 6 children, before attending college at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. After graduating from ISU, Dr. Genenbacher went on to get her DMD at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL. Dr. Genenbacher recently moved to St. Louis, MO with her yellow lab, Jayda, and her cat, Tabby. She loves exploring her new city, hanging out with and traveling to see her friends. One of her favorite things is going home to spend time with her family, particularly, all of her nieces and nephews. Dr. Genenbacher enjoys dentistry because it is a bit of art, engineering, and medicine all rolled into one. She loves connecting with her patients and helping them to understand the importance of their oral health.
Dr. Dallas Pineda has been working at Creating Smiles Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for over 6 years. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dallas graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Biochemistry. While at the University she completed 4 years of undergraduate research, then headed to Washington, DC, where she was awarded a post-graduate fellowship at the National Institute of Health. Dr. Pineda is an avid artist in her free time, and she enjoys utilizing her artistic skills along with her technical knowledge to improve her patients smile. Dr. Dallas has 2 fur babies, Gomez and Lucas, she enjoys snuggling with them on the weekend.

Going to MY Dentist Office is a very pleasurable experience. The staff and My Dentist are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I actually enjoy going to Dr. Genenbacher's office.

This is the first new dentist I've had in many years. The wait time was short, the bedside manner was great and they have TV in the dentist room! Only real issue are the hours and how it's difficult to schedule an short notice appt when I have virtually the same work hours as them. All and all a good place. Also it's very close to where I work and live so that is nice.

Been going to Dr. Gena's practice for a number of years. Staff is always courteous and friendly and truly care about their patients. They also ensure you're in no pain no matter what the procedure. Been so happy and don't plan to leave.

Great service and reasonable prices. Everyone is friendly. They take the time to make sure you are at ease and comfortable with procedures. My only gripe is that scheduling is really tight, but I guess that's a testament to good business.

My first time at a new dentist, I was a little nervous but after a few minutes I was fine. I had my tooth fixed looks good, then they had a cancelation so I came back got my teeth cleaned. Over all it went great, I can definitely say this is my new dentist. I will be going back every 6 months.
