I have known I wanted to be a health care provider for as long as I can remember. By the time I was applying for college, I knew I wanted to be a dentist who not only relieves immediate dental pain, but also improves the quality of life of my patients.

That is why I applied for the University of the Pacifics dental program which is well-known for being an accelerated six-year (3+3) Bachelors/ Doctor of Dental Surgery Program. The program consisted of three years of undergraduate study in Stockton, CA and three years of dental study in Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

My love of knowledge and my commitment to great care led me on another journey of continued learning and to the completion of a general practice residency in Tucson, AZ. Since then, I have been completely enraptured by the city of Tucson and its kind community.

Originally coming from the cold city of Buffalo, NY, I absolutely love the year-long warm, dry weather of Tucson. My husband and I decided to settle here and have continued to fall in love with the city. We enjoy exploring Arizona and taking photographs when we are not traveling or cooking.

My name is Melissa Cox. I have passionately worked in the dental field for 17yrs. My first 7 years were as a dental assistant, focusing mostly in pediatric dentistry. Then I continued my education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. As a dental hygienist, I've worked in Public Health with children and with specialists for many years in a periodontist practice. I also became a Waterpik Professional Educator. I love teaching and helping others whether it's educating my patients about oral health, other dental professionals, or spreading awareness about Type 1 Diabetes. My son was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at 2 years old. I believe you should never stop learning and that motivates me to continue to grow as a person and a professional provider.

Hi, my name is Courtney Camper. Im born-and-raised in Tucson, and I love this city and our community. I graduated from Pima Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I was awarded the community service award at graduation in recognition of my ability and enthusiasm to serve others. What I love most about my career and working at Prime Dental is patient interaction and education. I am committed to staying up to date with continuing education. I have been a hygienist for many years and worked as a dental assistant for four years while pursuing my degree. I am very excited to be working with Dr. Kym at Prime Dental.

In my spare time, you will most likely find me at my MMA gym. I am passionate about my martial arts practice, with my main focus on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu currently. I also recently learned to scuba dive, so I am planning to travel around cultivating that new skill and exploring the world at new depths!

I have been a dental assistant for 8 years and received my training at Pima Medical Institute. My favorite part about the dental field is getting to know my patients and creating a bond that makes their experience the best it can be!

My name is Prisma Vigueras. I am a dental assistant with more than 9 years of experience. I have worked in both general and specialist dental offices and love every part of what I do. What I like about my job is getting to know and helping patients. In my free time I like enjoying quality time with my family; I am a wife and mother of two children, a boy 7yrs and a girl 5yrs of age.
