During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms and take any necessary X-rays of your teeth. Dr. Scott Frey will meet with you to discuss your X-rays and help create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. If time allows and in the absence of gum disease, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, checking your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of cavities or gum disease.

The cost of your treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. We pride ourselves on being an office of no financial surprises. We will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each of your available payment options before you begin, so you can make the best choice for you.

We work with hundreds of different insurance companies and our office team is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork. Well work with your insurance provider to help you receive the maximum benefits that your insurance plan allows.

We are proud to offer short term, interest-free financing, with Care Credit, giving you the ability to have the care you need now and pay over a 12 month period with monthly payments that fit your budget. We are also proud to provide longer term financing with low monthly payments with Care Credit, making your dental care even more affordable!

Dr. Scott Frey has been providing excellent dental care to meet all of your familys dental needs. With many years of training and experience, Dr. Frey leads Crawfordsville Family Dentistry with precision and great care. He graduated from Indiana University in 1993 with a degree in biology and went on to receive his dental training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1997. He holds many certificates in advanced training, including dental sleep medicine, surgical placement of implants, and cosmetic braces for adults. As part of Dr. Freys commitment to utilizing the latest technology and treatments, he also attends numerous dental courses and seminars every year.

Dr. Frey first began practicing dentistry in Indianapolis, where he practiced for 4 years before coming to Crawfordsville in 2001. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Ben Hur Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Frey is supported by his wife Lana, who he married in 1998, and their two daughters, who are in the 10th and 12th grades. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and supporting multiple sports teams, including Colts football, the Pacers and IU basketball teams, and the Cubs in baseball (the curse is over!).

When you first call our office you will be greeted by a friendly voice on the other end. Either Lisa, Wade or Paula will be happy to answer any questions you may have and find a convenient time to bring you in for your visit. We will do all we can to accommodate your schedule and bring you in as soon as possible. We strive to provide same day emergency treatment if you are having a dental emergency.

These team members are experts in insurance and will do all they can to ensure that you are receiving the maximum benefits that your insurance provides. They also truly enjoy getting to know our patients so they are not scared to come to the dentist.

Paula, Hannah and Skye work alongside Dr. Frey in providing quality dental care in a relaxing environment. Any of them will step in and work at a fast pace when needed and have fun while doing it! They will explain any and all procedures to our patients and are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Their number one goal is to help you feel relaxed while you are at our office!

Dr. Kyle is excited to be providing care in his hometown of Crawfordsville, where he graduated from South Mont High School, in 2011. He continued into College at Indiana University where he graduated in 2015 with a degree in Biology. He continued at Indiana University, School of Dentistry, graduating in 2019. He went on to train at the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Kyle returned to Indiana and began practicing in the Indianapolis area before joining Dr. Frey in 2021. Dr. Kyle is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
