Dr. Crawford is a lifelong resident of North Carolina growing up in the mountains of Hendersonville and living in Greenville before relocating to Huntersville. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and achieved his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was the president of his graduating class.
Dr. Crawford spent four years of general practice in the United States Navy while stationed at Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. In 1993, Dr. Crawford relocated to Greenville and practiced as an associate and partner with Dr. Gary Michels. While in Greenville, Dr. Crawford continued his practice in all phases of general dentistry.
In 1998, Dr. Crawford opened his family and cosmetic dentistry practice in Huntersville to move closer to family. His professional affiliations include memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the North Carolina and Iredell County Dental Society. He is also a volunteer dentist for the Baptist Dental Bus.
Following dental school, she completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she gained valuable experience in complex dental treatment planning, implant restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Colvin has been practicing in the Lake Norman area and joined Dr. Crawford in the Spring of 2012. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She also has a membership with the Greater Charlotte chapter of the prestigious Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Colvin lives in Cornelius with her husband and two sons. She is an active member of her church, where she plays piano for the worship team. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends and most of all- cheering on the WVU Mountaineers!

I drive all the way from Pawley Island, SC to see Dr. Crawford. I start seeing him over 23 years ago when he started his practice. He has been my dentist through my kidney transplant 22 years ago. He understands the medical issues as well as dental. Always willing to give you alternatives and does not try to sell you. He does what is right for his patients. Since we moved I will not or have not seen another dentist. I trust Dr. Crawford and his staff 100 percent.

I have been going to Crawford & Colvin for around 15 years, and I have always had the best experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Colvin is extremely patient and understanding when you have concerns or questions. Best of all has been my experience with my hygienist, Polly. She is so kind, calming, and nice. Polly treats you like an old friend and makes every dental cleaning a warm and uplifting experience. I moved to another county two years ago, and I still drive 40 minutes each way to get my cleanings with Polly because she is THE BEST!
