Dr. Snehal Lakhkar was born and raised in India which is where she began her dental career after completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. She then moved to New York in 2005 where she worked at her mother in laws dental office for a few years. She pursued her Advanced Standing degree
Dr. Les Prasad was educated in India before pursuing graduate dental training at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston for four years. Dr. Prasad has since completed postgraduate training in cosmetic dentistry.

The dentist says that she is interested in the condition of your teeth, but in fact, she is only interested in your money! I had an implant and a crown procedure done, but it did not look or feel right. After work was done on the crown, the tooth above it began to stagger, and the implant broke in less than 6 months. I made several attempts to speak to the dentist, either the staff did not pass the message, or the dentist was ignoring the requests. Eventually I spoke with her, she stated that the procedure was done correctly, and she offered lab use to my new dentist to repair the work. But previously this lab did very poor job. I received zero compensation for a procedure that cost $3000 and lasted less than half a year.

I visited this dentist for implants. During the first visit she was very nice, confident and professional. During my implants surgery my anesthesia stated wearing out because they were busy taking pictures. The surgeon didn't showed any patience and ended up messing up one of my implants by not putting it up straight which resulted in later problems on how my teeth look. Then I keep asking for the receipts and the price, first said this work cost 16,000, then 18,000 then 20,000. The receptionist kept giving me stickies as my balance and prices kept changing . Until the point I became upset and the Dentist took me to her office and there she realized the work she was doing in my mouth was miscalculated by the receptionist/assistant. At this moment she started acting different and frustrated and started to increased the prices by telling me when we billed the insurance is less and when I billed is more money. Awkward! At this point I became upset and told her I wanted my work to be completed. She went and place one temporary crown which I found out later with another cosmetic surgeon. When she placed the bridge together with the implants she complained all the way on how much money she was loosing with my work. I ended up with a terrible dental work for $18,000. Which I am redoing again with another more professional dental surgeon. Oh! I almost forgot that after a year of this nightmare I receive a bill of something she forgot to charge . Not knowing that I have save all my paperwork where it says $0. balance . I consider them very disorganized and sloppy.

Great job, had two implants at the same time and did not feel any discomfort at all! Have to say it was much less painful than a misquote bite.All persons involved were excellent.

Has to be the best dentist I ever had and I'm in my 60's. From the front office to the hygienist, Dr. Laknkar has only the best people around her. I can't say enough about my satisfaction trust me and give her a call.

It was probably 10yrs since i been to a Dentist before coming to this office. I have had several cleanings done and some work done with a lot more work to go. The cleanings are always pleasant, i always leave happy and with a tooth brush! Crown or cavity i couldn't be happier with my experiences it is always very quick, painless, clean and they listen very well. As well as ALWAYS making sure you're comfortable and that nothing it bothering you. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient at Cranston Cosmetics for many years and with their excellent care, have navigated through numerous teeth problems, both big and small. I do miss seeing the very wonderful Dr. Prassad but have found that the level of consideration and professionalism that the office offers, with Dr. Lakhar at the helm, is consistent with the ethos of the practice and I feel that I am good hands. The staff are friendly and extremely competent and who wouldn't want Karla as their dental hygienist. She is the best. In addition, the decor is a refreshing relief from the dreary and sterile settings that I have encountered in other health care offices and I love the new aquarium!!!!

Cranston Family and Cosmetic Dentistry was referred to me by a very good friend of mine as I had a very complicated and emergency dental condition. Dr. Snehal Lahkhar was able to see me immediately and has been very much involved in attending to my care. Her staff members are very warm, friendly and extremely helpful.
