Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Jay Weinberg is a graduate of Upsala College. He received his dental degree from the New Jersey College of Dentistry. After a 2 year general dentistry residency in the Army dental corps, he completed a 2 year specialty certificate program in Endodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Weinberg began the limited practice of Endodontics in 1977, and has served as an associate professor in the Endodontic department at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Weinberg was elected to 2 year terms as president of both the Union County Dental Society, and the New Jersey Association of Endodontists. Dr. Weinberg is presently an attendee at the Newark Beth Israel general dentistry residency program, in Newark, N.J.
Dr. Weinberg is currently on staff as an attending at the prestigious Newark Beth Israel Medical Centers general dentistry residency program, and is currently serving as the Vice President of the Union County Dental Society (UCDS).
Dr. Weinberg has been trained in modern Endodontics, including use of the dental microscope, Cone Beam CT (CBCT) three-dimensional radiography, up-to-date surgical techniques, CBCT-guided endodontics via 3-D printing, and use of the Biolase Waterlase dental laser.
Dr. Jennifer Ha was born and raised in New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University. She then graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Ha completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, followed by a fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center with a concentration in Endodontics. She completed her specialty training at the NYU Langone Dental Medicine program in Brooklyn, where she earned her Certificate in Endodontics and served as Chief Resident.

Root canal surgery has been regarded as a typical description of the most painful experience and traumatic memory. Dr. Jennifer Ha completely changed the perception and reality. I had two molar teeth undergoing root canal procedure performed by Dr. Ha in less than two weeks. From anesthesia to the readiness for crown work, there was no pain at all. I also turned from a "toothicap" into a state of being able to use my teeth of both right and left sides to chew my favorite food again. I had no idea what made the difference. Of course, no doubt I attribute the success and pleasant experience to Dr. Ha's outstanding knowledge and skills, and the perfect team work of her and her assistants.

Dr. Weinberg was excellent with the detailed procedure with my first root canal. He gave me total confidence that I was in good hands and the experience will be uneventful....I felt nothing! He was totally professional and very soft-spoken which put me totally relaxed. He displayed images on the computer s green that outlined the problem and procedure. He gets ten stars from me.

Today was my first root canal to say I was nervous is an understatement! I feel horrible that I don't remember the doctor's name or her assistant! I couldn't sleep last night having anxiety about this! My dentist was so kind and professional! Her assistant as well! I am so grateful for them! Came home cooked my pasta and now getting ready to ride my bike! Beyond grateful for their work I apologize again that I didn't catch their names! I feel great, NO PAIN AT ALL! TRUST WORTHY staff

Dr. Eric Weinberg was absolutely amazing! He was a perfect gentleman and he explained the entire process of the procedure to me before doing the root canal. Was very gentle injecting novacaine and getting me comfortable before proceeding. I have very sensitive teeth and typically difficult to do that. His office staff was wonderful and they processed my dental insurance and followed up with my primary dentist immediately after completion of the final visit. I will definitely be coming back to Eric Weinberg for any future root canals, which I hope I don't need any root canals, but trust him 100%. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a root canal procedure!!! He's the Best!! Thank you Dr Eric Weinberg!!

I just wanted to share my experience with Dr Eric Weinberg with everyone. I could not be more pleased with this dentist and his staff. I was dealing with a particularly difficult root canal which required several visits to get under control, and Dr Eric Weinberg was probably the most professional, caring, and empathetic dentist I have ever went to. Dr Weinberg is extremely patient and honest and took care of my painful situation with the utmost respect & professionalism. Through this whole process he explained each procedure before he did it and provided me the knowledge before continuing onto each phase. I was completely numb and felt minimal to no pain. This doctor even follows up with you making sure you are feeling ok several days after the procedure by having his staff contact you. I would give Dr Weinberg 10 stars if possible.

Dr. Weinberg is awesome. Very attention to detail. Informative and caring. I've had root canals in the past and can tell you by far this man is the best at what he does. The staff is good and the care was better than could be expected. They communicate with my dentist too, and this is very important. As far as price goes; they are fair and also accepted my insurance. I will be sure and return if I need more dental work.

I never saw the dentist; however scheduling an appointment was like entering the Royal Rumble. The experience was horrible, more worried about the money aspect than your care. I found an alternate dentist and would suggest you do the same.

Going to the dentist is not a great thing to do in the first place, but going here did help. I had a very bad tooth ache at the end of the day and they took me despite it was closing time. They took care of my problem quickly and painless. I was in and out, they checked up on me the next day. They have the best bedside manners, they know exactly what to do and do it quickly.... I would highly recommend them

Never had any sort of dental surgery done before so when I needed a root canal done I was understandably nervous. Eric Weinberg was my doctor and he was beyond professional. You could really get a sense that he knew exactly what he was doing and he helped put my mind at ease. He also works incredibly fast! Very fast, very efficient. The whole staff was very friendly and I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for root canal work in the area. Ask for Eric!
