In 2001, Dr. Sawhney graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. After graduating from dental school, she opened a private practice in nearby Maryland, where she worked for nine years.
Dr. Sawhney sold her Maryland practice in 2010 and moved to Switzerland. While in Switzerland, she continued her dental education and familiarized herself with cutting-edge European technologies. In 2012, Dr. Sawhney returned to the United States and joined the staff of leading practice in Northern New Jersey. In 2019, she decided to open Cranford Dental Arts, providing patients with a comfortable and safe environment for dental care. Dr. Sawhney is one of the first few dentists to own and use Cerec and has been certified as an Invisalign provider for 20+ years.
At Cranford Dental Arts, Dr. Sawhney listens to each patient and provides comprehensive care that focuses on not only oral health, but overall quality of life. As a mother of three daughters, she enjoys teaching children the importance of taking care of their teeth. Its her goal for patients of all ages to enjoy going to the dentist.
Being a mother of three girls, Dr. Sawhney's friendly and warm personality helps patients feel relaxed throughout their visits. She values building lifelong relationships with each and every patient, tailoring care towards their individual needs.
Dr. Hannah Benn grew up in Summit, NJ and participated on many local sports teams. She graduated Johns Hopkins University after spending four years on the varsity swim team and serving as captain her senior year. She completed her residency at Mountainside Medical Center. She loves working with patients of all ages and making sure they have an enjoyable experience. Her #1 goal is that her patients leave with a smile on their face! Dr. Benn recently got married and in her free time, she and her husband enjoy playing tennis, golf, and spending time at the beach.

This was my first time at this office. Was recommended by a co-worker. Dr. Neha Patel and the rest of the staff were very welcoming, made me feel comfortable and at ease. Looks like I won't have to continue searching for a new dentist.

I have been there multiple times. I've always found all the staff to be extremely courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Dr. Neha Patel absolutely knocked it out of the park. It was my first time ever going to the dentist and it not hurting. Now I don't mind going at all because I know they'll always give me outstanding care. I would and do tell my friends and family about them. For my Zoom whitening, Monica and Melissa where also great. I'll definitely be going back there again soon.

Wow. Just finished a cleaning with Dr. Benn and I found my new dentist for life. High tech environment with a digital tooth scan to show me the benefits of Invisalign (talked it out with Dr. Benn who was very measured in her guidance--not yet for me) and quick X-rays. Dr Benn was thorough and patient in determining next steps for care and the receptionist at the front was very helpful with understanding my insurance and how best to schedule upcoming appointments. Can't wait to go back.

I have to preface this review by saying that I have always had an extreme fear of dentists. The idea of someone poking around in my mouth has always given me anxiety. When I called to set an appointment, the receptionist immediately calmed my fears and said that the staff would understand and work with me. She was spot on! The dental hygienist, Melanie, was excellent and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She told me what she was doing each step of the way, and always checked to see that I was okay with it. Also, she could tell I had a fear of germs and always told me about how each piece of equipment was cleaned. After the cleaning, Dr. Sawhney came in and also understood my fears. She told me what work needed to be done on my teeth, and that I didn't need to worry. She said to make sure that I booked my next appointment with her because she would be understanding about my dental anxiety. Overall, this was a great experience and I should have come here sooner! Great staff with a very nice clean office. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Sawhney and her staff are all warm and doing their best to help. After being with my current dentist for almost 25 years, I decided to switch to Dr. Sawhney since I have big concerns about my oral and overall health. I need a holistic dentist to help me reaching my goal.

Dr. Sawhney's entire office, from the receptionist to my personal dentist, Dr. Bean are exceptional! They are very receptive, considerate, and absolutely wonderful. I started going to the clinic after moving to the neighborhood and found a new family. I very much enjoy every visit to their office and can't be happier with them.

I was introduced to Dr. Shawney about 2 months ago. Ironically, I needed a major procedure done on 12/12/19 and the professionalism exhibited was excellent. Also to note is the improvements to the office shows to me her intent on serving her patients in the best manner 11/10/20- another procedure, another perfect job 12/06/20 -received very professional examination and evaluation as well as excellent preparation for a procedure. 3/8/21 the office is fantastic 6/24/21 once again excellent experience.Not only is the dentistry fantastic, the office is so friendly. 9/18/21 as usual, excellent 10/25/ 21 thoroughly examined, excellent

I have such a phobia of the dentist, however, from the moment I entered the office, there was a calm and welcoming vibe. The staff is exceptional as well as Dr. Sawhney herself. First of all, the most beautiful dentist office ever! I love that during Covid, Dr. Sawhney renovated her office with everything new. It all feels so fresh and clean and safe! Secondly and equally important was the staff- everyone is so kind. I had my cleaning done and a checkup for invisilign. The cleaning was very thorough and comfortable. I was concerned about my teeth damage from grinding my teeth every night. Dr. Sahwney was so patient and explained everything to me of how we could protect my teeth. Her top of the line equipment was amazing in showing just how much damage I've done to my teeth from all the nightly teeth grinding. Glad I went to see her!

Not only is the office beautifully renovated but it is fully equipped with all Covid safety systems. I felt completely safe even 6 months pregnant. Monica gave me a thorough and painless cleaning and Dr Sawhney was so kind and professional. I am so happy to be a client here and we are so lucky to have them in our community.
