I have a severe phobia (I'm 50!), like a take a Valium and still pass out (just ask Christie!), kind of phobia, of the dentist! This is the ONLY dentist office I'll go to! They are so kind, patient and professional, starting with Aileen at the front desk, all the wonderful hygienists and assistants (especially Christie since she is who I've been seeing), to Dr. Burpo. Excellent dental care! On a side note, when my daughter was 16 (8 years ago) she fell and knocked her front tooth loose, almost out. Dr. Burpo saved that tooth, and to this day she has no problems, no discoloration, you can't even tell!

Dr. Burpo does fantastic work and his staff is great! My daughter is thrilled with her new sonicare toothbrush and her oral hygiene has improved significantly!

Dr. Burpo is an amazing dentist and his entire staff make every experience great. No more anxiety about seeing the dentist. I am more than happy to drive over an hour from my house to get such quality service with such a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend Crane Family Dentistry to everyone.

I'm very upset that this office has screwed over a very close friend of the family at the age of 75. He went back to this office close to 6 weeks ago to discuss replace his lost last partial, they made him approximately 6 years ago. To be charged at check out from getting the impressions taken, to be requested to pay $1200.00. To date he still hasn't gotten his replacement partial. He drives 4 hours round trip to this office from Deepwater MO. He drove there today with the understanding he would be finally getting his partial denture delivered. This was just in time for his very important family reunion, to meet a daughter he just found out he had. Upon arriving at 11:45 for his 12:00 appointment that they confirmed with him just that morning before he drove all that way there. The partial was not complete, only the metal framework was with no teeth. I personally worked in the same dental practice for over 25 years. I have one cousin that has worked for over 35 plus years in a dental lab and constructs crowns and bridges and any non removable type of prosthesis and my other cousin, her brother has been constructing removable partials and complete dentures, removable prosthesis for over 40+ years and their mother my Aunt worked in dental for 35 plus years. So needless to say I have dental experience running in my veins. To treat a elder man in this manner is beyond Senior abuse. First charging a senior this absorbent amount, than requiring him pay it up front $1200.00 for something that labs charged them around $200.00. In a normal dental office turn around is 7-10 working days unless the lab screwed up, or the office did, or the pony express horse died and they couldn't find the dead body to recover the package. I advised him just 10 minutes after leaving this small town dental office to return and get a refund. They did offer to give him a partial refund but was told he would have to pay the lab fee. I said fine, get the refund and your upper and lower castings and the completed metal frame work and we will have my cousin finishing putting the teeth on the frame work and I could get them back before Friday. They refused. Stating it had already be shipped back to the lab in Springfield, MO. WOW THAT PONY EXPRESS MAN MUST HAVE BEEN WAITING AT THE BACK DOOR. Than the patient was offered that he could drive back another 4 hour round trip tomorrow, Tuesday and get the frame work back or they could mail it threw snail mail and we all know how long that can take, or he could return next Wednesday after his family reunion another 4 hour round trip and pick it up then finished. Very upsetting to see such a lack of compassion for his needs and the situation they placed him in.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with the office staff and the dentist. I was extremely nervous at first. But, everyone is so comforting and kind. I have a treatment plan that I will need to follow and I am looking forward to it.

My first visit they did a full set of X-rays and did 2 simple extractions. I was there for 30 minutes and they charged me $580.00. They told me that the X-rays could be used up to year for my next visits. I went back 7 months later to have one simple extraction done. They immediately insisted on doing another full set of X-rays despite what they told me at my previous visit. I told them that I wanted to skip the X-rays because my daughter's doctor had told they stopped giving X-rays except in life and death situations because they had learned that X-rays cause cancer. The staff at the Dentist's office told me that X-rays don't cause cancer and proceeded to force me against my will to get another full set of X-rays. The dentist finally came in and agreed to go ahead with my one simple extraction without new X-rays. I was there for 30 minutes, they did one simple extraction, and charged me $480.00 for one simple extraction.

The staff is great, super friendly, good at letting you know what they are doing and when they are doing it. I'm glad I chose them after my other dentist retired. What I like is your not just a number or $ sign, they actually remember your name when you walk in the door.
