As a Florida native who grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Etts wanted to find a similar hometown feel for his dental practice. Plantation fit the bill, so he came here and practiced as an associate for a number of years before finding the right place to practice on his own. Dr. Etts has continued to proudly serve his neighbors to achieve excellent oral health in a family-like atmosphere for more than 30 years.
When not helping you smile, you could see Dr. Etts out and about in Plantation, eating out or enjoying the theatre with his wife or even at the gym! Dr. Etts loves being outdoors, and you can often find him boating, fishing, or scuba diving. Three Maine Coon cats round out his family McGee, Milo, and most recently, Molly.
Dr. Etts loves people so its not surprising that the favorite part of his job is building relationships both with his patients and his team. His fun personality and success in maintaining relationships is evidenced by the tenure of his team all have been with the practice for 18 or more years. His patients love him too demonstrated by the number of positive reviews from happy patients many of whom have been seeing him as their familys dentist in Plantation for years and some since he started practicing! Dr. Etts personality, combined with the warm-hearted family like atmosphere he has created, reflects the love and passion he has for dentistry and his patients.
Since high school, when an orthodontist boosted his self-confidence by correcting the alignment of his teeth, Dr. Etts has wanted to be a dentist. After earning his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, Dr. Etts was accepted into the prestigious Emory University School of Dentistry where he earned his doctorate in 1985. Hand-picked by the dentists who ran the practice before him, Dr. Etts is proud to carry on the fine tradition of family-centered dental care, delivered by experts, in a warm and caring environment.
