Dr. Kubina spent several years as an ICU nurse before switching careers to dentistry. Dr. Kubina then attended dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he graduated with distinction, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, dental honor society.
Between the years of 2005 to 2010, Dr. Kubina gave back to the community by volunteering at the UCSD free dental clinic, which provides dental care to homeless and under-served individuals of San Diego.
Dr. Kubina stays current with updated dental knowledge through his memberships to the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and local San Diego County dental study clubs.
Jen, Registered Dental Assistant Jen has been a dental assistant since 2005 and completed her RDA license in 2006. In 2010, Jen relocated to San Diego with her fiance, joining the Craig Kubina, DDS office team. Jen stays current with her RDA license through her continuing education classes.
Royce, Dental Hygienist Royce has been in the dental field since 2004 working with general dentists and specialists. She completed undergraduate coursework in biology at the University of California, Riverside and dental hygiene at Southwestern College. She has been with Dr. Kubina and his team since July 2020. She is ecstatic in her new dental home because she loves being a part of a dental family that is committed to providing high-quality care while making a positive patient experience. When she isnt at work having fun, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur baby, Gizmo (a shih tzu/poodle mix). She loves baking, taking long walks, scenic bike rides, and playing tennis.
