A Place For the Whole Family Our office offers a wide arrange of services, so all family members are welcome! Also, individuals seeking dental care at Craig Kubina, DDS are assured honest, straightforward, and comprehensive full mouth diagnoses and treatments, with a focus on preventive care.
Dr. Kubina spent several years as an ICU nurse before switching careers to dentistry. Dr. Kubina then attended dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he graduated with distinction, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, dental honor society.
Between the years of 2005 to 2010, Dr. Kubina gave back to the community by volunteering at the UCSD free dental clinic, which provides dental care to homeless and under-served individuals of San Diego.
Dr. Kubina stays current with updated dental knowledge through his memberships to the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and local San Diego County dental study clubs.
Jen, Registered Dental Assistant Jen has been a dental assistant since 2005 and completed her RDA license in 2006. In 2010, Jen relocated to San Diego with her fiance, joining the Craig Kubina, DDS office team. Jen stays current with her RDA license through her continuing education classes.
Royce, Dental Hygienist Royce has been in the dental field since 2004 working with general dentists and specialists. She completed undergraduate coursework in biology at the University of California, Riverside and dental hygiene at Southwestern College. She has been with Dr. Kubina and his team since July 2020. She is ecstatic in her new dental home because she loves being a part of a dental family that is committed to providing high-quality care while making a positive patient experience. When she isnt at work having fun, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur baby, Gizmo (a shih tzu/poodle mix). She loves baking, taking long walks, scenic bike rides, and playing tennis.

Best dentist I've ever had. I've been through my fair share of dental professionals - Dr. Kubina and his staff are the best I've ever encountered. Friendly, gentle, and encouraging. I recommend him to everyone I know - and those who have gone to him also sing his praises! Just an amazing practice and they actually can make dental visits a really pleasant experience!

The entire staff is friendly and professional! Very neat office and relaxed setting. I'm always in and out in no time. This was the most gentle teeth cleaning and cavity filling I've ever had. I usually have anxiety about dental work but now that I've found the perfect dental office I no longer have that issue. I would 100% recommend coming here!

Dr. Kubina is so gentle and friendly. Our whole family has gone to him for years. He is excellent at dental procedures and my daughters have had cavities filled at young ages and have never been scared. He's by far the best dentist I've ever been to and I highly recommend him.

Craig and his staff are great at dentistry. Having seen many dental professionals as a kid born with a cleft lip and pallet I can honestly say that Craig and his staff are not only professionals but friendly and kind as well. My wife found Dr. Kubina online after searching for local dentists who offer anesthesia since she's a little sensitive to pain. Thank you Dr. Kubina!

Simply the best. Dr. Kubina and his staff have taken care of my family for many years. He's cared for my elderly parents as well as my husband and myself. He's cared for our two children since they were in junior high, and they're in their 20s today. He's extremely knowledgeable about dentistry and only recommends what is absolutely necessary. His costs are in line with other dentists in the area, but you can have the confidence that you're getting the best care available and not being billed for unnecessary procedures. His office personnel are so nice. Wendy has been his front office person from the beginning. She's so nice and very efficient. His hygienist is so gentle but thorough. Don't go anywhere else!
