Dr. Downer attended Western Michigan University for his undergraduate studies before pursuing his dream of becoming a dentist. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association as well as the local 9th District Dental Society.
Dr. Downer is married to Christina, a Family Medicine physician and together they have two daughters Madeline and Emelia. When Dr. Downer is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters as well as hunting and fishing.

Nicolle has been working in the dental field since 2010.She has been with our office for two years. Her knowledge of dental insurance keeps patients informed and her cheerful personality and warm smile greets patients when they come through the door.Nicolle and her husband Aaron have three children: Emily, Addison, and Jameson. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, coaching her daughters cheer team, riding motorcycles with her husband, and camping
Kathy has been practicing as a registered dental hygienist for over 28 years following her graduation from Ferris State University in 1990. She has been married to her husband, Jim, for 25 years. They have 4 children, 3 sons and a daughter. Kathy enjoys attending her childrens sporting events along with spending time with family and friends. While shes enjoyed many things about her career in dental hygiene; at the top of her list is the interaction she has had with her patients.
MacKenzie is a Dental Hygienist who graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2017. She was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan and recently moved to the area with her boyfriend, Ryan. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors running, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. She has two awesome cats named Zara and Jasper. Some of her favorite things about being a hygienist are educating patients, building relationships, and listening to patients concerns.
Terri joined us as Front office Coordinator in November 2019. Having worked in the dental field since 2013 Terri brings a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to coordinating with insurances and managing our daily schedule. Terri is married and has 2 wonderful daughters. When Terri is not in the office she enjoys camping with her family and enjoying the summer months.

Doctor Downer is very thorough and complete, and does not rush through his explanations or his exam. Remarkable experience. Highest marks! I have extreme anxiety regarding dental work. Dr. Craig Downer DDS is amazing at pain free procedures. Doctor and his entire staff are very professional and AMAZING. I highly recommend this dental office.

Polite staff. Clean office. Teeth cleaning, and x-ray are at a fare competitive price. But to have a crown, cavity filled, or root canal, or teeth pulled is a Redicolous price! They want 300 dollars to pull a tooth, 1000 for a crown and another 1000 for a root canal. And 400 to fill in a cavity! I know they need to make money but Not Everyone can afford those price. I know that most people have insurance but not everyone does! And I know that other dentists charge about the same price . But when you leave and they want to put 2 crowns on and fill one cavity and do a root canal on a total of 4 teeth and they give you a quote of $4000-5000 dollars that is Redicolous! That is more then I spent on my last car! It just seems that dentists are all out to Milk you out of your money and I am beginning to think that they all are crooks! Now I know with leaving this negative feedback they will post something on here to say please contact us, or they will say" we are competitively priced" But that's not why I am posting this review. My point of leaving this review is to make you think of the prices you are charging for some of your services. Not everyone has Insurance and Not everyone can afford to spend a estimated cost of $1000 a tooth no matter what they have done. ( Root Canal/ Crown/ cavity filled) It seems like a reasonably cost for either of those procedure would be in the range of 100-200 each! Not 1000 for each one of them!

Just a great place to go for the whole family. My three year old daughter had her first filling and they were amazing and there was no issues and my daughter did an awesome job because of how great the staff handle the situation.

Dr. Downer & his entire staff are the BEST! I've been a patient of his for over a year now. He helped me set up a plan to tackle a handful of items I needed done and as of today we have now accomplished all of those items in one years' time. Dr, Downer is an excellent dentist: knowledgeable and caring. He's assembled a dedicated office staff to help him help you in ways that enable you to feel that you're getting clear, effective information so you can make well informed decisions for your dental care. In addition to top-notch understanding of the field, Dr. Downer's office creates a pleasant environment, with enjoyable films that educate younger family members on tooth and mouth hygiene in the waiting room. A bird feeder outside the window and a view of what appears to be a shot of a Michigan shoreline help to engage your attention as you have your treatment. You leave his office feeling that you are in good hands for this important part of your health care. Bravo, Dr. Downer and staff!
