Dr. Elizabeth Liz Craig grew up in Northwest Iowa. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree. She graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She practiced in Omaha for several years while her husband, Steve, completed his residency (internal medicine) and fellowship (rheumatology) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After completion of his training, the Craigs moved back home to Iowa.
Dr. Craig loves practicing dentistry! Dentistry is about caring for and connecting with people and Dr. Craig feels blessed to be able to spend her days doing just that! Dr. Craig has two daughters, Maggie and Luella, and two sons, Pete and Tommy. During her free time she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Lauren Lange grew up in Adel, Iowa. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa; and now Dr. Lange is happy to return home to central Iowa to practice dentistry!
Dr. Lange loves dentistry because it combines creativity and helping others. She enjoys getting to know patients while working with them to improve their oral health and is passionate about making dental visits a positive experience for all.
In her free time Dr. Lange loves cheering on the Hawkeyes, being outdoors, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family. Dr. Lange is excited to serve the community in Waukee and form lasting connections with patients at Craig Dental Center!
Dr. Jaspreet Choudhary graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005 from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She has practiced at Dental Connections in Des Moines for the last 15 years serving as the Dental Director for the last several years. Prior to Dental Connections, Dr. Choudhary was Dental Director at River Hills Community Health Center, Ottumwa, Iowa. She was instrumental in the opening of this clinic which is a great asset to the community.
Dr. Choudhary loves dentistry as it allows her to work with her hands. To her dentistry feels like art. Dr. Choudhary loves helping others, especially children. Dr. Choudhary is looking forward to helping serve the community of Waukee along with Dr. Craig and Dr. Nelson.
Dr. Choudhary has been married to Anil for 17 years. Together, they have two daughters, Anisha and Kiran. During her free time she enjoys reading, defending the Huskers, gardening, bike riding and spending time with her family. Lately, she rarely has any free time as she has a new puppy named Ruffles, who has decided that the Vet is his new best friend.
'I am new to the area and a former Dental Hygienist. Nicole has a great personality and did an awesome job cleaning my teeth! It turned out that I had a small chewing surface that needed a filling. Dr. Nelson filled my tooth and it was super easy. When she numbed the area I barely even knew that she was doing it. She shared about her weekend and I was so focused that she was done before I knew it. Great office. As a former dental health professional who is a very discerning customer - I recommend this office.'

On November 9,2021 I was a patient at Craig Dental where I had a bridge inserted. Dr. Craig and her staff were very professional and sensitive to my needs. I was very impressed by their ability to complete the entire process of measurement, building and installing the bridge in one sitting. I also would like to thank Jess who built and fitted my bridge perfectly. I would highly recommend the Craig Dental Center to anyone.

This is my families new dental team. I had my first cleaning today and I was impressed! I was seated quickly, Jenna was very personable and informative. Dr. Criag was very prompt, easy to ask her questions, and addressed all my concerns. The office was very busy but Dr. Criag did not make me feel rushed at all.

Cannot say enough things about our family's positive experience here!! I am terrified of the dentist normally, & they couldn't be nicer or more comforting at this office! Dr. Nelson is wonderful, & hygienist, Jade, is out-of-this-world kind, gentle, caring & skilled!! They are professionals through & through!! FABULOUS for adults as well as our teens!!

I have always had anxiety about the dentist. I actually really enjoy going to Craig Dental. Everyone (front office staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and dentists) are caring, empathetic, and thorough. I have sensitive teeth and everyone has always taken great care to ensure that I have a positive, pain-free experience. I highly recommend Craig Dental for routine cleaning or dental work.

Dr Craig and her staff were phenomenal when I had a terrible pain in my tooth. Dr Craig called me back quickly after calling her on call. Her office then reached out to me the next morning when they opened at 7am and offered an appt in the morning. Unfortunately for me I needed a root canal; but Dr Craig and her assistant, Katie took care of me including the root canal and crown all in the same appointment. They make the crown in their office. No additional appt needed! It is now the evening and my tooth is feeling so much better!!! The whole staff were caring and friendly! I highly recommend this clinic! Thank you Dr Craig, Katie and the rest of your team!!!!

Had a consultation with Dr. Craig and their dental hygienist. This was my first visit here after being referred by a family member that has been very satisfied with their services for themselves and their children. I called on Thursday and they got me in on the following Monday which was nice. Impressed with their professionalism, treatment plan, positive staff as well as state of the art equipment. Hygienist and Dentist were awesome at answering all of my questions, explaining treatment plan and helping me to relax. They were able to promptly schedule additional work needed within the next two weeks. Very pleased and would recommend even if you have to drive a bit or wait a bit longer.

My whole family goes to Craig Dental. My husband I love it, and they are wonderful with my girls. My oldest daughter loves going because everyone there knows her and gets excited to see her. She can be worried about anything hurting, but they make her feel so comfortable and talk her through every step. She ends up leaving with a huge smile. The other day, I was in with my two year old, and I forgot my diaper bag. They went and found me a diaper! She was very nervous about opening her mouth for the dentist, but they gave her distractions, let me hold her, and made the experience so positive, all she did the rest of the day was talk about "going to the dentist". Thank you, Craig Dental!

Let me preface this by saying that going to the dentist is my absolute least favorite to do; I dread it. My family has been seeing Dr Craig since she opened in Waukee. She and her entire staff are always pleasant and professional and available when needed during dental emergencies. I have to give a big shout out to Maddie, a recent graduate hygienist who took excellent care of me yesterday. I won't go as far as saying I enjoyed the cleaning and exam but Maddie made this one of the least miserable experiences. I will definitely request her in the future.

Short review: I would not recommend. I think they are all about the money. I should have read the reviews first. Long review: We chose Craig Dental after being in Waukee for 2 1/2 years. We loved our previous dentist, but thought we should get something closer. During my first visit they told me I had four cavities. This was shocking as I get regular cleanings and have never heard more than one. I visited my old dentist for a second opinion. They said I had one to be fixed and the others are watches and could be 10 years to be fixed. The xrays at Craig were very grainy and night and day from my dentist. My husband also had a silmilar experience and was charged hundreds. I called to cancel appts. When they asked if it was for our entire family I advised yes. They called a couple months later to see if my husband wanted to come back in. $$$ we'll drive the 10 extra minutes to an amazing dentist!

Dr. Craig has EXCEPTIONAL bedside manner, as I am a VERY anxious dentist patient, so having her as my dentist has been refreshing. And because she is so great, my "dentist fear" no longer exists. I no longer fear the dental chair. I have since placed my entire families dental care with Dr. Craig and I have absolutely no regrets!! I also love the hygienists and the office staff, they ALWAYS remember my life details and that alone speaks to the AMAZING staff of Craig Dental.

I have been going here for years and NEVER had a bad experience. They are amazing and not only are they great dentists, but also are wonderful at customer experiences- i brought my little girl in for her first time, and they made it an absolutely amazing experience for her as well- very warm, welcoming, and kid-friendly!
