PERSONAL Dr. Callen has five children, Joseph, Lauren, Meghan, Caitlyn and Christian. He has 3 of his kids in college, one just graduated from Paul Mitchell Beauty School and is a Beautician in Columbus and one is in school in Clear Fork.He is a life-long resident of the Mansfield area, having graduated from Malabar High School. His hobbies include snow skiing, travel, boating, camping reading, and computers. His professional associations allow him the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. giving and taking continuing education seminars. When time allows, he enjoys discussions on a dental internet forum with dentists around the world. He hosts a dental Facebook group where he provides education on a daily basis to dentists around the world.The Callens live north of Bellville (up in the hills) and he likes to be outdoors hiking, target shooting and taking care of their property. Summertime will usually find the Callens up at Lake Erie boating or fishing on weekends and vacation. They dock their boat at West Harbor on Catawba Island.
Dr. Nicholsis originally fromOntario, Ohio and is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Ohio State University undergraduate degree. He is a past, part-time instructor at the OSU College of Dentistry. He is a member of the of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association , the Central Ohio Dental Association, and the Mansfield Dental Society.Dr. Nichols is very active in his church and has helped to equip a free dental clinic in Africa through the Grace Brethren International Mission.
Dr. Nichols is a graduate of Ontario High School. He and his wife, Cindy have two grown daughters, Lindsay and Allison who also attended OSU. He likes to visit historical locations on vacation such as Jamestown and Colonial WIlliamsburg.

Like most people, I feel a little uneasy when going to the dentist. I won't feel that way the my future appointments. Everyone, and I mean everyone, makes you feel completely at ease. Tammy did a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth. It was actually relaxing. Dr. Callan and staff are wonderful!

I've been going to Dr Callen for a few years now, and I've never had a more professional experience since childhood. My family has been more relaxed since we switched. I highly recommend this team if you're anxious about going to the dentist as my husband was in the past.

I have a lot of anxiety, especially people being in my space. Dr Callen and assistant were gentle and very understanding! They show their patients love and care that I have not always felt at other dentist offices before.

Dr. Callen did my dental work very well, and staff workers. Because I was a Vet. I was told not to worry about the cost. That really help me out. I thank God for what you did for me. He is super person. Thank You

Started calling a few places to get an "emergency" appointment at 8 a.m.luckily I called Callen & assoc.they got me in for my infected tooth.got x rays,2 scripts and all the answers I needed.got back home BEFORE noon even with an hour drive time and a half hour at rite aid.Seemed like very caring people.Thank you

Dr Nichols and staff were so polite & kind! They squeezed me in (as a new patient) on a very busy holiday weekend when no one else would see me. I had a very painful abscess on my gum. He was very thorough in his examination and his description of my diagnosis. I had no questions left when my visit was over. I used to manage a dental office and this one is one that I would definitely say exceeds patient expectations. I will be traveling from Delaware County to see him from now on. I cannot recommend his office enough. Top of the line care with a top of the line staff. Thank you to Dr Nichols, Kathy & the rest of his amazing staff!

My mouth feels worked over from getting two cavities filled today. I am assuming that the DA was qualified to fill my cavities. I have never had anyone fill cavities without help. She had to keep herself from placing her elbows on my chest while she struggled to keep the area dry and adjust the bite. She told me that if the bite was off I could come back. If I have to go back, then I should have just driven further and let the VA do the work correctly the first time. I also did not find her very friendly. She mispronounced my name and wasn't a bit apologetic when I corrected her. She didn't introduce herself when she called me from the waiting room, and was very preoccupied with getting the tv in the room to work. The bathroom needs a paper towel dispenser or a dryer. I felt like just a number there.
