Dr. Schussler was born in Chicago Il. and grew up in Indian Creek, just down the road. He attended Hawthorn Elementary and Libertyville High School. His undergraduate degree in Biology was conferred from Carthage College in Kenosha. Dr. Schussler received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1985. He has been in private practice since 1986, he has been in his Vernon Hills office since 1992.The Drs hobbies include an extensive music collection, gourmet cooking and dining, classic and muscle cars!

I graduated from Grant Community High School in Fox Lake & then continued to get certified through a Dental Assisting program at First Institute in Crystal Lake. I started working for Dr. Schussler in 2014. You can find me spending my spare time with family & friends! I look forward to Cubs games & going boating!
I have worked for Dr. Schussler since he started in 1992. I grew up in Vernon Hills & also attended Hawthorn & Libertyville schools. I look forward to my get a ways to Vegas where I know I will have a great time & enjoy unlimited delicious food choices! I love cooking & baking, I am known for my Banana Bread!

Very comfortable very nice staff they were very companionate to my anxiety And were very patient with my fear everything was explained to me and what to expect. Chipped my tooth over the holiday weekend and they squeezed me in ASAP would recommend them to anyone

I have been seeing Dr Schussler for many years now and have always found him and his staff to be personable and knowledgeable. I've had my fair share of dental work and each time Dr Schussler has made sure I was comfortable and my results both solved my issues and looked great. I'm glad I found Dr Schussler and am proud to recommend him to others.

This Dentist, Dr. Schussler has seriously changed my whole views on dentistry! He is so awesome and goes out of his way to make sure you are okay and comfortable with any thing he does. First time I went to get a filling by him i was so nervous, by the second time I came for a filling i was so calm he really did a great job!!

I was referred to Dr. Schussler by my brother-in-law who was my dentist for 30 years; he retired and moved out of state. Needless to say, I was very apprehensive about finding a new dentist. After my second appointment, I sent his office a message letting them know how happy I was to have found them. This office provides a personal experience for every patient. You are never made to feel as if you're rushed! The appointments are scheduled so that you don't have to wait. Dr. Schussler's talks to you while he is completing the procedure. He is so patient and kind. You will leave this dental team with a great smile!

I have been a patient of Dr. Schussler since 1999. He has been great in treating all my dental needs. He and the staff are pleasant whether in person or over the phone. I have never waited in the lobby more than 5 mins after my appt to see Dr. Schussler.

Dr Schussler is gentle and kind. I had to get a filling which normally scares me, but between him and his amazing assistant I was at ease and barely felt a thing! I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

Dr. Schussler has been my dentist for over 20 years. He always makes me comfortable with procedures, answers questions, and makes sure any work is pain-free. I enjoy the conversation and the music! Michelle has efficiently dealt with many changes in insurance, and I love how easy it is to make appointments. If you are looking for a dentist, I'm happy to recommend Dr. Schussler.

It's easier to smile before and after a dentist appointment when you have Dr. Schussler as your dentist. The office staff will probably get you to laugh at some point during your annual checkup. The quality of services are the best in the industry.

I switched to Dr. Schussler several years ago based on the recommendation of a friend. Even though she moved out of the area, she was still traveling nearly an hour each way to see Dr. Schussler- after my first visit, I understood why. The office is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the care is top-notch. I've had my semi-annual visits twice during the pandemic and they have been flawless following protocols. I've been the only patient in the office each time and have felt completely safe. I look forward to my visits because I know I'm safe, the procedures are painless, and the conversation and music are great! Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Schussler for over 15 years. Dr. Schussler is not only a very considerate and kind dentist, he is also very personable. He truly shows interest in his patients and makes going to the dentist enjoyable since he is such a pleasure to talk to. Dr. Schussler is very careful not to cause any pain which is especially helpful for those who are afraid to go the dentist. His staff Michelle and Janie May are also very nice and fun to see twice a year. We highly recommend this practice.

I'm going to be honest. Teeth scare me. I was referred here by my niece and I'm so happy that she referred me to doctor Schussler! He's one amazing dentist! He explains everything he's doing before he does it. His staff is just as awesome as he is. This is a dentist office where you walk in and they remember you and treat you like you're family.

Always runs on time. 20+ years and the office has never double booked my appointment time. Billing is impeccable. Always confirms with my insurance for dates of coverage and what co pay is prior to arriving. Friendly folks. Always super clean office and lobby. Keeps updated on current best practices and equipment. Dr. Schussler is a kind and caring dentist.

I have been seeing Dr Schussler for 15 years now, even though I've moved to WI. He's still worth the drive due to his excellent skills, his use of modern dental technology, and his commitment to a stress free and pain free visit. His staff are awesome, too. His appointments always run on time with no anxiety--producing waiting room stays. Dr Schussler also does cleanings himself, as opposed to having a hygienist do that part. A friend referred me to him and since then I've referred many of my own friends and coworkers.
