Dr. Jake Cragun received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU).
Our office is located on the 2nd floor. You will make an entrance into the building through the black awning labeled 5858 Main (parking and entrance both on the north side of the building). Upon taking the elevator or stairs, our office will be all the way down the hallway, on the east side of the building, closest to the stadium.
Dr. Jake Cragun is a Board-certified endodontist in Frisco. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, North Texas Dental Society, and the DFW Endodontic Society.
Raised in Tacoma, Washington, Dr. Cragun received his bachelors degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Dr. Cragun then took his family from the west coast to the east coast where he received both his Certificate and Masters of Science degree in Endodontics from the University of Florida (UF).
Dr. Cragun and his wife, Celeste are proud residents of Frisco. They have four sons and enjoy doing activities together as a family. Dr. Cragun spends his free time golfing, going to movies with his wife, or attending one of many sporting events that one of the four boys are participating in.

This was honestly the best experience I've ever had with a endodontist!!! He's a very cool guy and is super charismatic!! You can tell he's been in the field for sometime. He's a good man!! I can promise you'll enjoy your experience!

I have over the years unfortunately needed the services of endodontists dealing with several root canal problems. Dr. Cragun was the best experience and recovery I have ever had. In short I felt like I did not even have a procedure with the root canal performed by Dr. Cragun. Best experience I have had with any type of dentist. I cannot recommend Dr. Cragun enough.

Dr Cragun helped our son with his tooth trauma. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient with our questions. I cannot recommend him more as not only someone who is obviously technically excellent but truly cares for his patients and their outcomes. I would not hesitate to use his services in the future.

I have had awful dental anxiety for years and have been slowly working towards taking care of everything needed. My last step was a root canal. Everything you hear is how awful a root canal is so of course I was beyond scared. My dentist recommended me to Cragun Endodontics in Frisco. I went Thursday and was beyond shocked at how easy everything was. I was in and out in 1 hour, no pain or discomfort during the procedure and the entire staff was AMAZING. I took ibuprofen the first night just in case, but honestly didn't need it. Dr. Cragun called me the next to check in with me even. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Cragun gave me a root canal and was so awesome! I always heard that getting the numbing shot was the worst and I could barely feel it with Dr. Cragun. His office was great and the staff was so friendly. Best Endo around!

Massively afraid of dental work person here...and I have to say Dr. Cragun made it all completely pain free and easy. He and the dental hygienist were extremely nice, very cool, dealt with my crazy, anxiety self, were aware of my "special needs" since I'm a red head and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be coming back IF I ever need anything else done. I'd say I hope I never have to, but now I'm not so scared! Bring it on, teeth!

My dad had a difficult root canal done by Dr. Cragun. Being a dentist myself, I am impressed by the quality of his work. His root canals are minimally invasive, leaving the tooth strong and less likely to fracture down the road. Being able to do that while thoroughly cleaning out the infection in the tooth takes incredible skills. Kudos to him!

From the time I called to make an appointment until I walked out of Dr. Cragun's office, I was treated like I mattered. I arrived for my 3:45 appointment about ten minutes early in order to complete the necessary forms, until I walked out at 4:20 with the necessary root canal. Dr. Cragun and his assistant thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect before, during, and after. Anyone anxious about having a root canal, there's no need if you go to Dr. Cragun. He and his staff are great. Thank you Dr. Cragun, Ashley, ant others.

5 stars for a root canal procedure? Heck yes! This was my first visit to Dr. Cragun's office and aside from my own anxiety, everything else was top notch. Everyone in the office was friendly and exuded warmth and kindness. They put up with my nervousness and anxiety and everything went perfectly. While I don't necessarily want to go back, if I do have to have another root canal, I will definitely be going back!! Thank you, Dr. Cragun.
