But if you still need to take the edge off, optional nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is always available as an add-on to your treatment.

Dr. Casey and Dr. Lisa are both passionate about providing the best care possible to each of our patients, pediatric and adult alike. Dr. Casey loves working with kids as early as possible, to help prevent dental phobias from occurring and to help kids who are already scared learn to trust the dentist. Dr. Lisa works with adults and enjoys building relationships with them as she helps improve their dental health while overcoming their fears. MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Casey began practicing in 1987. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist with additional certifications in early interceptive pediatric orthodontics and Invisalign. He is also experienced in providing care for patients with autism and other special needs.
Dr. Casey is the first person in his family to attend college. He began thinking about becoming a dentist in the eighth grade, and pursuing that goal led him to West Virginia University, followed by a residency at the University of Maryland and post-doctoral work at Johns Hopkins.
Passionate about the care he provides each day, Dr. Casey strives to stay current with new technology and procedures. He is a member of the (G)nathos orthodontic study club and enjoys offering his young patients the best dental and orthodontic care available.
One of the things Dr. Casey appreciates most is the opportunity to provide care to his young patients in a way that helps them learn to trust dentists. He wants children to grow up getting the dental care they need and feeling confident that their dentist will provide that care in a way that isnt frightening, so when theyre adults theyll continue getting regular dental care and maintain the best oral health possible.
When he isnt working, Dr. Casey loves to spend time outdoors cycling, running and playing soccer. He and his wife Dr. Lisa have three children and three dogs that keep them busy. He volunteers with the Howard County Autism Society and has completed three century (100-mile) charity bike rides.
Dr. Lisa began her dental career as a Registered Dental Hygienist because she was passionate about a career helping others. After working in a periodontal practice for several years, she began working as a hygienist at the University of Maryland. There, one of the dentists she worked with encouraged her to apply to dental school. She took his advice and loves being a dentist!
In addition to being a highly skilled dentist, Dr. Lisa is committed to helping patients have the most anxiety-free experience possible with her. She says the most fulfilling thing about being a cosmetic dentist is peeling away the layers of bad experiences patients have had and helping them overcome their phobia of the dental office. Dr. Lisa always takes the time to understand what has happened with her patients in the past, so she can help them feel relaxed and confident in her care.
Dr. Lisa does not base her recommendations on what insurance will or will not cover. She provides you with all the information and options regarding your care so that you can make your own informed decision. And she will only recommend therapies for you that she would recommend for her own family.
Dr. Lisa continually expands her education to provide the best options for her patients. She is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, which is known for producing some of the most skilled cosmetic dentists in the oral health industry. They've been great for the entire family and are especially great with kids. I can't imagine a more pleasant dental experience. Everyone is attentive, kind and understanding that dental work can be stressful. They are very professional and I'm sure that everyone's teeth's are well cared for.

I've been going to Crafton Dental for many years. Staff is always attentive and courteous. Hygienists are top notch. Both Dr Lisa and Dr Casey are warm and friendly. I strongly recommend this practice for both children and adults.

My children and I have been patients of Crafton dental for 12 years. We absolutely love Dr. Casey, Dr. Lisa, and the entire staff. They are like one big family and have always made us feel comfortable. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else for our dental care. You will not find a better dental office! Edit: Just wanted to add, my Granddaughter will start seeing Dr. Casey in a few months. Since they had also taken care of my Grandmother was well, that's 5 generations of patients who LOVE Crafton Dental. My Daughter travels from Buffalo, NY for her bi-annual cleanings! If that doesn't tell you how amazing they are...nothing will!

They are absolutely exquisite. You feel welcomed from the moment you have a phone call with them to the front desk and when you see the doctor. Very informative, knowledgeable, kind, understand and polite. The female assistant name Torrell made my daughter and I feel so comfortable. I highly recommend Crafton Dentistry.

2 month waiting list for an appointment and after scheduling it 10 minutes later they call back and said the last appointment I had my blood pressure was slightly high so they told me I had to see a doctor before I came back. Ridiculous and paranoid my BP is totally fine. Told them no longer a client.

Dr Casey Crafton and Dr Lisa Crafton along with their exceptional staff go above and beyond when it comes to my families dental needs. They are very knowledgeable about their craft and see to it they their staff as well as theirselves attend continuing education classes so that they are up to date on all things dental. Their office provides a great environment for kids of all ages as well as adults of all ages. My children started going to the Crafton Dental practice as toddlers and transitioned from the pediatric dentist, Dr Casey Crafton, to the adult dentist, Dr Lisa Crafton. Well most of my kids transitioned, I have a 38 year old child who to this day will only see Dr Casey Crafton! I would recommend these doctors and their practice to all families. You will not be disappointed!

We have been patients of Crafton Dental for many years. Before choosing Dr. Casey for my daughters' orthodontics, I checked out other practices in the area. I came back to Crafton Dental because we felt like the medical staff really cared about their patients. We weren't just another ortho case.
